You and Chung Lim walked to the park.
He bought you a caramel frapp.
The two of you sat on a bench.
You sipped the frapp.
“Aigoo. You have cream on you lips.” Chung Lim slid his thumb across your lips.
You met eyes with him.
Chung Lim gazed intently at you.
You had a flashback of the last time you and Chung Lim were at the park.
You drank a frapp and cream got on your lips.
“Babo. You have cream on your lips.” Chang Lim chuckled. He leaned in and slid his thumb across your lips but paused. “What?” you blinked.
Chung Lim smiled then licked it off.
“Oppa! You have germs!” you complained.
“No I don’t!” he protested.
“Yes. Icky sticky germs.” You made a face.
“HEY!” Chung Lim dove for you.
You skipped away, “Catch me if you can!” you stuck your tongue out and ran away.
“HEY YOU!!” Chung Lim ran after you.
You shook those images away.
Chung Lim’s thumb was still on your lips.
You backed away.
Chung Lim dropped his hand.
You coughed at the awkward moment.
“So… how have you been?” Chung Lim asked.
“Good. And you?” you asked.
“Good.” He sipped his drink, “So who were the boys in your house? If I wasn’t mistaken, those were the 5 princes.”
“My stepbrothers.” You replied.
“Oh. Wow.” Chung Lim nodded. “So there’s no reason for me to be jealous?”
You looked at him, “Oppa…”
“I know,I know. We’re not together anymore. But ~~~~~~~~~-ah, you know that we didn’t break up because we had problems in our relationship.” Chung Lim murmured.
You swallowed hard. You remembered the painful day at the airport.
“Oppa, I don’t want you to leave.” You sobbed.
“I know. I don’t want to leave either.” Chung Lim pulled you into his arms.
You cried into his chest. “
If I had my way, I’d stick with you for the rest of my life here in Korea. But baby, I got to go. My dad’s counting on me.” Chug Lim stroked your hair.
“I know.” You blubbered.
“Bye, ~~~~~~~~~~-ah.” Cung Lim kissed you for the last time.
“Bye oppa…” you whispered.
Back to reality.
Chug Lim gently put his hand on top of yours.
You looked at him.
“Do you think it’s possible that we can get back together?” Chung Lim asked.
You paused then slid your hand out from under his, “I-I don’t know. I have to think about it. Give me some time.” Chung Lim nodded, “As much as you need. Friends until then, right?”
You nodded, “Friends.”
“Great.” Chung Lim grinned, “Come on. I’ll take you home.”
