When you came back home, you washed, changed into your pajamas, and sank into bed. Suddenly, you heard your window slide open and someone lightly sprang inside.
You turned back and saw Jaejoong.
He climbed into bed next to you.
“Is your room locked again?” you asked.
Jaejoong nodded.
You lay back down away from him.
Jaejoong lightly draped his arm over your waist. You glanced at his bandaged hand. *I guess this would have been weird if he was in love with me but he’s not.* “Jaejoong oppa.” you whispered.
“Yeah?”
“You’re the only real brother I have.” You quietly said. Jaejoong opened his eyes and stared at the back of your head, “What do you mean?”
“Yunho, Junsu, Changmin, and Yoochun oppas told me that they love me. Not as a sister but as a girl.” You stated. *Bastards! They actually confessed to her?!* Jaejoong snarled in his head.
You sighed and closed your eyes, “So now you’re the only stepbrother who loves me as a sister.”
Jaejoong sat up halfway and looked at you, “Why do you assume that I love you as a sister?”
You opened your eyes and met his eyes, “What?”
Jaejoong softly gazed at you, “They’re not the only ones who are in love with you… I am, too.”
Your eyes widened.
Jaejoong lightly brushed your cheek with his fingers, “I’ve been in love with you since you lived here. I’ve never really realized that until the last time I spent the night with you.”
Not knowing what to say, you looked away.
Jaejoong gently cupped your chin and turned your face. You looked into his eyes. “I’m not going to pressure you to do anything right now. I know it’s awkward for you since we’re step-siblings. But I just want you to know that I don’t care. We’re not related by blood. If my dad hadn’t met your mom, you and I would’ve just been a normal boy and a normal girl.”
You swallowed hard.
“Just think about it. I want us to be in a deeper relationship than we are in now. I’ll give you all the time you need. … Just so that we’re clear, I can love you better than Yunho, Yoochun, Changmin, and Junsu. Even Chung Lim.” Jaejoong brushed the hair away from your face. Then he leaned in and kissed your forehead.
You slightly cringed and your face heated up.
Jaejoong pulled away and softly smiled at you, “Good night, baby.” Then he lay down and went to sleep.
You snapped out of your daze and curled up on your side away from Jaejoong. You bit your lip and hugged your blanket *Now all 5 of my stepbrothers are in love with me. What do I do? What about my mom? Who do I choose? Can I even choose one?*
