A week and a half later, the school seemed to calm down from your “incest” rumor.
That night, the Sungs came over for dinner.
Kimbum took your hand and kissed it, “How have you been ~~~~ yang?”
“Good.” You smiled.
“Come in! Dinner is almost ready.” Your mom beckoned the guests to the dining room.
You helped her set the table.
“Thank you.” Kimbum charmingly smiled at you.
Your stepbrothers made a face in disgust.
You automatically smiled back. *No wonder he’s the Charming Prince.*
You sat between Changmin and Kimbum.
Kimbum made light conversations with you over dinner. You laughed at his jokes. Your stepbrothers were moody at Kimbum’s flirting.
Dinner was over and the adults went into the living room to talk. Your stepbrothers and you went to your rooms. Kimbum went up the stairs.
“What the hell are you doing up here?” Jaejoong sneered. Kimbum smirked, “To visit ~~~~~~~~~.”
“WHAT?!” All of your stepbrothers yelled.
“It’s over there, right?” Kimbum walked towards your room. Your stepbrothers looked at each other then ran after him, “Wait!”
Kimbum swiftly tapped your door twice then went in and locked the door.
Your stepbrothers pounded on the door, “Sung Kim Bum! Come out right now!”
Kimbum chuckled and turned to face a surprised you. “I’m sorry for coming in without permission.” He gave you a small bow.
“Oh. It’s okay.” You assured him.
Kimbum looked around your room, “You have a nice room.” “Thank you.”
Kimbum sat on the edge of your bed and you sat next to him. “So…why did you lie to me?”
You looked at him in surprise, “Lie?”
Kimbum looked at you, “You’re not good. In fact, aren’t you sort of miserable? The news of the Princes’ so-called incest reached my school. And I heard how the students mistreated you.”
You looked down at the grim memories of food-throwing and boos and hisses.
“They shouldn’t be so judgmental. What you and the Princes are feeling isn’t incest. You guys aren’t even related. People can be very negative these days.” he shook his head. You sighed.
“So who will you choose?” Kimbum asked.
“Excuse me?” you looked at him.
He looked back at you. “Or will you choose all of them?” Your cheeks flushed pink, “I don’t know if I can even choose any of them. And why would I want to? They’re my stepbrothers.”
Kimbum laughed, “My sweet ~~~~~`` yang. It seems like you’re oblivious to your feelings for those guys. You are in denial.”
“What?” you stared at him with big eyes.
Kimbum leaned close to your face, “You, ~~~~~~~~, are in love with one of your stepbrothers.”
Your eyes widened, “B-but which one?”
“That…is for you to find out.” Kimbum gently tapped your nose. He smiled at you and got up. Kimbum headed for the door and put his hand on the doorknob. “Until next time, ~~~~~ yang.” Kimbum winked at you and left.
Immediately, your stepbrothers surrounded him, “What did you do to~~~~?”
“Why don’t you find out for yourself?” Kimbum smirked and coolly walked away.
Your stepbrothers gawked at him then burst into your room, “~~~~~`-ah!”
You stared at each of them: Yunho, Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu, and Changmin.
“Are you all right?”
“Did Kimbum do anything to you?”
“Should I go kick his ass?” They worriedly asked.
*I am in love with one of them. But who?!*
