“What's got you steaming up?”
“I think I'm gonna go away for awhile I'll be back later on” Jaellie said as she gave Jen a kiss on the cheeks.
“What's all these papers?” I asked.
“Rubbish like always, like me” she replied and she seemed pretty serious.
“I'm gonna ask again what's got you steaming up?”
“Tutoring finishes at 5. It's currently 8 at night and I don't know why you didn't even bother calling me and telling me that I shouldn't have cooked dinner for you and I never should have wasted time baking the cake you've always wanted me to bake for you” she said while heading out her bedroom.
I followed her and grabbed her by the hand.
“You cooked and baked for me?”
“Like it freaking matters” she said and shrugged her hands off me and walked downstairs.
I sighed to myself and walked downstairs. I found her behind the kitchen table fixing the untouched food.
“I'm guessing you haven't eaten at all”
“Now why would you care whether I have eaten or not. You won't even bother dialing your bestfriends cellphone number or your house phone for that matters”
“Okay it that's what your so pissed about then I'm sorry. Can't we just kiss and make up” I joked.
“I can't freaking believe it” she said as she drops the plate on the table bench and continued :
“You think it's about you not calling me? You're one hell of a stupid guy, whatever happened to my bestfriend huh? The one responsible enough to not lie to my face”
“I haven't been lying to you!”
“See there you are again lying to me... You know I don't know which hurts the most the fact that you left me on that bench saying you were going for tutoring or this, you continually lying to me” she said angrily.
“I beg your pardon?”
“DAMN IT TAEYANG I SAW YOU KISSING HER!” she yelled.

“And you wonder what got me steaming today”
“Jen I'm sorry. But I know how jealous you get when it comes to girls and I don't think telling you the truth would have helped the conversation we had” he explained.
“You know what else I'm not sure about; I don't know whether I should be happy that you tried protecting me or I should be angry that you lied to me. When did we ever lie to each other? I have never lied to you and I don't even wanna think about going there”
“I didn't want to go through it but come on I was thinking about you. I didn't mean to hurt you”
“BUT YOU DID TAEYANG AND IT HURTS!” I yelled.
“You know what Jen why are we having this conversation? I don't have to explain myself to you anymore, in case you have forgotten I have a mum and the last time I checked she wasn't you” he said as he started going up the stairs.
“YOU SEE! SEE WHAT THIS WHOLE THING IS DOING TO US? IT'S BREAKING US APART AND THESE ARE JUST FLINGS IMAGINE THE REAL THING”
“It's not breaking us apart, you're breaking us apart and it hurts so much Jen. It hurts knowing that we can't have a normal conversation without you bragging about losing me with some girl who don't even exist”
“She does exist she's just not there yet and I'm scared; so scared”
He stepped back down the steps and came close to me.
“But she's not here, I have you right now and that's all that matters”
“Tae...”
“You don't have to be scared I'll be here 'till death do we part” he said and pulled me into a hug.
“I love you” I said then whispered “Beyond what you know of”
