“What we said was that we’d be here before Dana,” Vanness said. “And what do you know? We are.”
“Hey,” Dana said, punching his arm lightly. “We arrived at the same time. That’s different,” she pointed out and saw Dave looking disappointedly at her as well. She smiled sheepishly at him. “Forgive us?”
“Yeah Dave,” Jerry said, smiling childishly at Dave as well. “Forgive us?”
Vic and Vanness did the same.
Dave rolled his eyes. “I didn’t come here to baby-sit,” he said, and turned around. “Let’s start. The crew’s been ready for an hour.”
The F3 and Dana laughed. Ken didn’t. He was actually up before the F3 and wanted to leave right away to avoid being late. But they all shared a limo and so he had to wait for them to finish before he could leave. So now everyone thought that he was just as unprofessional as the others were. He looked over at Dana who was still laughing with the F3, belatedly remembering that she was late too. No doubt it was because she stayed up all night with her boyfriend. Whatever. At least she can’t scold them this time since she was also at fault.
Dana, though, had no intentions of scolding any of the F4. She was determined to start anew with them today, since they’d all established a good relationship last night at the bar. Except maybe for Ken, but he wasn’t the one who gave her problems on the set anyway. Right, she thought. This was going to be a great day for shooting their music video.
