Outside of the gates, Sunny stood looking for a way in. But it was useless, the only way in was to climb the tall gates. He braced himself as he began climbing it, he had a few cuts and bruises by the time he reached the other side.

Inside the Library, Joey was taking his time as he poured himself a drink "Don't look so nervous, you act like you've never done this before, Allison. If that's your real name."

Her face hardened "What are you saying?"

He laughed as he took a seat on the couch, next to it was a tiny wooden drawer, he slipped the top one open and she could cleary see a tiny metal pistol. She inched back in obvious fear while Joey let out a laugh "Remember when I said you looked famliar?" she nodded blanky "Well, I finally remembered. One year ago, you were at a night club by the name of Midnight, is that right?" she shook her head, she's never been to a club let alone a night club. He wasn't fazed by her objection "Well, there was a girl that I hit on that night but she dared to reject me." he nodded "That wasn't a good idea." his voice hardened as he gulped the rest of the alcohol and threw the glass to the ground causing it to explode into thousands of pieces.

"I really don't know what you're talking about. This is the second time we've met." she insisted.

He stood up and walked towards her with a vengeance. "Don't lie!!" he grabbed her tiny figure as he pushed it on his worked out body "I don't like it when girls lie." he breathed down at her. She whimpered from the pain as he yanked on her hair. "You're going to get what you deserve." he laughed as he pushed her back into the couch.

She quickly squirmed her way to the edge of the couch "Please, just let me go. I won't tell anyone." she promised.

He let out a laugh "Even if you do, they will only believe me, since everyone at the restaurant saw you leave with me." he had planned it out too carefully. He inched closer to her while she turned her head away "You want to make this hard or easy?" he sat back and pulled her legs down the couch so her body would slide against the cushion. She yelled out in pain as her head hit the side arm. It only amused him more as he laughed. He reached for her apron as he yanked it out with ease.

She tried hard to get away, but the more she struggled the more pain he pushed on her. "Stop!!" She cried when he tightened his grip around her legs using his thighs.

He leaned onto her body as he grabbed her face harshly "You want to make this easy or you want to do it rough? That last girl loved it rough." he snorted as he returned to yanking off her pants, yet she put up a good fight.

Joey did not expect anyone to come in so he was in shock when Sunny barged through the door. He was obviously surprised as he jumped back. Allie took no time to free herself as she pulled her pants closer to her body and practically crawled to Sunny. He wrapped a protective arm around her as she held back the sobs "Are you okay?" he hugged her affectionately.

Joey snickered "So, my brother wasn't the only guy." he laughed "I should have known a hooker wouldn't want to settle down."

Sunny was disgusted with him as he let go of Allie, within seconds he had punched the guy in the face causing his lip to bleed. "You insult her one more time and I swear, I'll kill you!" he pointed to guy.

Soon enough, the sound of police cars were surrounding the mansion as the officers poured into the house. Josh and Josie were rushed in together. Josh's heart fell the minute he saw Allie looking disensembled, her hair was a mess and her face was smeared with tears. Sunny's arm remained around her shoulder even when the cops came in to arrest Joey.

Allie was in complete shock, the obvious feeling of shame came over her as she would not let anyone touch her but Sunny. Josh tried to take over the embrace but she only shivered at his touch. Josie knew what her friend might be feeling since she was a girl too, she pulled at Josh's arm "Just let her be." she soothed.

Down at the policed station, Mr. Lai had came by with his lawyer to bail out Joey. Sunny was disgusted when they walked away unharmed. "I'll see you in court." he managed to mutter at Sunny when he left.

Inside a specially sound proof room, the officers questioned Allie. Surprisingly she was strong and answered every question, down to the detail that he tried to rip her pants off. She knew if she softened, then he would only be roaming free outside of the law. After an hour, she was ready to leave "Thank you, Ms. Ng. You might have to testify, since you are the biggest witness." the nice lady officer told her before she was released.

Allie nodded "I'll be ready."

Josie was the first to spot Allie when she ran to her friend. She gave her a quick embrace. "Are you okay?" she said softly.

Allie looked at her friend in the eye for the first time since the incident "Yes. I am now." she turned to Sunny with a smile that he thought he would never see again "Thank you."

She saw Josh looking at her with saddened eyes. She walked over to him as he muttered "I'm so sorry..."

She was near tears when he apologized "It's not your fault." she hugged him warmly "Can you take me home?"

He nodded and turned to the other two "Thanks for everything." he said sincerely. They nodded as they watched them leave. It hurt Sunny to see her in Josh's arms, but he figured it probably hurt Josh more to see her in his arms.

The drive back to Allie's apartment was quiet, she was drained from the whole day. He stopped his car in 20 minute zone and got out of the car to open her door. She let him lead her out as she leaned onto him for support. She was feeling weak and a bit dizzy because she hasn't eaten since that morning.

The reached her apartment and he was quick to fix her something to eat. She was grateful munching on a sandwich. "Thank you." she said after she finished it. The blood beginning to flow through her body.

"Do you want to talk about it?" he asked carefully, not sure of how she'd react.

She shook her head "No." she let out a sigh as she leaned forward and reached for his hand "Josh, I'm so so sorry."

He smiled strangely "Sorry for what?"

"For putting up with me. If I had been honest with everything from the beginning, maybe this wouldn't have happened?" she was feeling the wave of guilt come over her.

He shook his head "If I was more careful and been a better boyfriend, he wouldn't have the chance to..."

She squeezed his hand tightly "I'm not just talking about this situation. I'm talking since the time we started dating. I was being unfair. I shouldn't have led you on." he looked at her with questioning eyes "The truth is, you are nothing more than a good friend to me and you always will be. I never saw a spark between us but I did not want to hurt your feelings. You've done so much for me and I feel like I've done absolutely nothing."

He didn't take it too hard, he knew it was never there. "Love is not a one sided arrow. It takes two people to start a relationship. I don't blame you for anything. We had a chance, that's all I ever ask for." he was more understanding that she had dreamed.

"Some day you will make a girl very very happy." she smiled "Deliriously happy!" she teased.

He laughed "I feel sorry for the girl already." he smiled as he reached in to hug her. They stayed like that for a while without speaking any words. Finally, they both knew where each other stood in their hearts.

****************

After he left her that night, Josh's mood was a little better but the pain was still there. The pain of losing someone he definitely cared about, but he knew love could not be pushed. He would not stand in her way if she wanted to move on to someone else. Josh decided to go to his favorite bar. He dranked away until the pain disappeared. A few girls came up and flirted with him. He took the welcome in with open arms as he flirted back. They ended up going to the dance floor.

From a distant table, Josie was glaring at the guy in disgust. After she saw him dirty dancing with some girls, she could not stand it. How could he do something like that after what happened to his girlfriend that very morning. She could not take it as she got up and rushed to the dance floor. She tapped on both girls' shoulders "Escuse me. Ahem.." she cleared her throat.

The girls looked at her with impatience "What do you want? We found him first." one of the girls wearing a too short black mini asked.

Josie crossed her arms "I'm his pregant girlfriend. You want to be one too?"

The girls looked at him with disgust as the walked away. He turned to Josie "Pregnant girlfriend huh?" he laughed in his drunken stage.

"Come on." she said firmly as she took his hand and dragged him out of the club, on the way out, she grabbed her water bottle.

"But I want to dance...and drink!!" he cried and tried to struggle from her grip. Although it was too hard to get away when he was that drunk.

She opened her bottle of water and yelled "Drink this!" she poured it over his head as his clothes became drenched with water.

He seemed to be more awake as he wiped the water from his dripping face "Why did you do that?"

"How could you be in there doing that stuff when you're girlfriend is at home probably scared for her life." she scolded openly.

Josh sighed "We broke up." he saw her face freeze as he began walking down the streets. He received a bunch of strange looks due to his dripping clothes, but he didn't seem to care.

"Broke up?" Josie asked. "Why?"

He laughed sarcastically "Don't tell me you never saw it coming."

She shook her head "I guess she's finally being honest with herself." Josie turned to the distraught Josh "You're not taking it too well are you?"

He shrugged "I shouldn't be surprised. And if I said it didn't hurt, I would be lying through my teeth."

"I'm sorry." she said sincerely.

Josh let out a tired sigh "I just hope she'll be okay from now on."

"Hey, don't worry about her. She'll be taken care of." Josie knew Sunny would jump at the chance. "I'm more worried about you."

Josh stopped in his tracks as he turned to her with a grim smile "Don't tell me you're falling for me..." he began.

Her faced flushed at the accusation "Of course not!" she insisted "You're not that lucky to have me fall for you." she added.

"That's true, I don't have that kind of luck." he teased.

"Anyways, I don't like guys that hide their true identities." she said with a double meaning.

He turned to her with an earnest face "Sorry...I know you never knew about my real job and real life. Did the raid at the mansion give up the secret?"

She laughed "No, I'm not that slow. My first suspicion was when Allison told me about your father in the hospital, the second clue was when you said you were in the office. What kind of delivery boy would have a snobby father and work in an office? Just because you never confirmed it didn't mean I was ignorant to it."

Josh applauded at the cleverly details that she picked up "Well, that's very observant of you. So now you don't want to be my friend anymore right?"

She rolled her eyes "Oh please, don't use that pity scheme on me, it doesn't work."

They laughed together for the first time as a strange bond began to build between them. She would never admit it to his face, but she truly had a crush on him.
