Allie blinked over and over trying to comprehend what the voice was saying to her. "Come my child." the voice beckoned. Inside she was confused but she felt her body being lifted uncontrollably, she floated to an area in the clouds where a tall white gate awaited for her. She looked around like a stranger and found a male figure (guess star Andy Lau) standing there waiting for her.

He nodded while holding a book like shape in his hands. He eyed her carefully "Allison Ng, this year 26 years old. Fate of death: gunshot by driveby." he said loud and clear as the gates opened up.

Allie looked like a scared puppy "Who are you?"

"Saint Peter of course!" he frowned "Don't you read your bible?" she shook her head and he rolled his eyes "I'm the guardian of the gate, I have the power to put people whereever I want." he raised an eyebrow at her and looked down towards his feet.

She smiled nervously knowing that he was indicating about hell. "So where do I go?"

"To the big guy of course!" he said a matter of factly. "Go on, he's waiting for you." he showed her the way and the gates closed after she walked through them.

"Uh...what do I call him?" Allie was not sure of how to act or what to say.

"God is mostly preferred. Or just father since he is the one that made you." St. Peter said casually. He reached an area where the sky was blue behind them while the clouds moved around, the bright light she saw far away came closer and closer until she was blinded by it. She closed her eyes and turned away.

"Allison, we finally meet." the same echoey voice she heard before.

"Are you...GOD?" she asked with much fear in her voice. She never imagined how it would be like to be in heaven. It was a strange feeling, soothing almost and definitely content.

He laughed heartedly "I'm sorry, I always forget that the souls cannot see me like this." she heard a snap of a finger and the lights simply disappeared. Allie looked up and gasp at the figure before her. God chuckled "See anyone familiar?"

"You?...Nick?" sitting on a cloud of chair before her was a complete replica of Nick Cheung. "The movie star?"

"Movie Star? He's more than a movie star, he's the funniest guy alive!" St. Peter exclaimed.

God in the form of Nick began to laugh "I loved him in 'God of Gamblers 4', wasn't he the greatest?" he said to St. Peter.

Allie shook her head "Are you sure I'm dead? This is really bazzarre." she commented. "My dreams don't get this strange."

God cleared his throat "Of course it's not a dream. You are in heaven, due to your good deeds and well lived life, you have been asked to return to me. Your suffering have stopped."

"I was suffering?" she asked.

"Everyone is suffering down there. Some more than others." he said with authority "Allison, do you know the reason why I created mankind?"

She shook her head "I would assume only you would know."

He nodded "I created humans to prove to myself that there are good and bad even when it came from an all good supernatural being. The world you live in is a mere illusion, do you notice that you see things through your eyes in a different lighting?" she thought about it and nodded "That is because I am seeing it through your eyes. I do it for everyone. The purpose of that is to understand what you are seeing and what you plan to do. Only when you close your eyes and sleep at night is when I have my rest."

She frowned "I'm still confused why I had to leave? How about Sunny?"

"The person you are referring to is meant to live a long and healthy life. He will do good and help others." he explained.

'Does that mean I will do bad?' she wondered to herself.

God read her mine as he chuckled "None of my children were meant to do bad. Everyone is born good, it is determined during the life I give them whether they want to change it or not. If it makes you feel any better, there is no such thing as 'hell'." her eyes widened "It is there to scare those that chose to lead a bad life in hopes that they will turn the other path. I will forgive them when they are ready to be taken by me."

She nodded with final understanding "That is why the good people die and the bad people are still alive, you are making them suffer by living on earth."

St. Peter smile broadly "I think she's got it." he said to God. "It's time she moved on." he was about to write something in his book when God lifted his hand.

"Ah, but the girl has more unfinished issues." he smiled when she turned to him questionly, he read her mind with ease "You want to assure yourself that Sunny will be happy without you." she nodded eagerly "He was going to propose to you that very day you were shot."

Her face turned solemn, now she wanted more than anything to see him happy. Even if it means living without her. "Can I have a request?"

"You want to come to earth and make sure he is okay?" God asked knowingly. She nodded.

"Of course not! Humans and spirits do not mix. We've had a few that have done it secretly and have been punished. They must not know this other world exist, only when they die do they believe it truly exists...." God put up a hand to silence St. Peter.

"Sunny is in pain, I can feel it." he sighed "Very well, I will grant your wish." her face brightened up "Under three conditions."

"Anything!" she said eagerly.

"You must have a reason for returning." he tapped a finger on his chin. She couldn't help but feel oddly strange calling someone God that she had known to be her friend "Your object to come to earth is to help Sunny move on with his life. He is hurting and he will try to kill himself, you must help him see his point of living. To continue without you."

She nodded firmly "I will. But what about the three conditions?"

He smiled warmly "One, no one can see you and you cannot see anyone. Two, I will send you one living soul that can help you. I cannot tell you who it is, you will know since he will be the only person you can see. Third and finally, you will not be able to return until Sunny is fully recovered and have moved on with his life. Once you agree, you cannot take it back. If you do not accomplish this mission, you will forever be comdemned to roam amongst the humans, never can you return to heaven."

Allie debated with herself but in the end she knew she wanted to help Sunny with all her heart and soul. "I promise." she said firmly.

"Great!" he laughed happily at the response "Now, due to the fact that it would tear your heart apart to see him at your funeral, most spirits cannot handle the pressure. I will speed up time for two years later."

Allie ruffled her forhead in concern "Will he forget me then?"

"If he would, why should I send you to help him?" God said with much reason. She nodded and felt stupid for asking such a dumb question "That's why they call me God." he spoke with a crooked grin that she remembered Nick threw her way when he was teasing her. "Now, go my child."

St. Peter floated in front of her with a smile "Close your eyes." She did as he said "You are only allowed to move through objects when you are meant to pass them." he felt her questioning mind "You will know when the time comes."

She nodded with her eyes close. The wooshing sound of the wind blew by her ears, she was not allowed to open it until she felt silence. When she did, her eyes opened carefully as she looked around a room, it was inside a house. She paced the room and found the large king size bed that had a folded red dragon/phoenix blanket on it. Signs of fortune hung around the room. She sat on the bed and felt the soft pillow cases which matched the blanket.

There were two bedside tables on each side, she quickly noticed a frame as she picked it up and saw Sunny's smiling face into the camera, next to him was Amy. He was marrying Amy? Or did they already got married? she asked herself.

She rushed to the curtains and opened them after hearing a car pulling up to the driveway, she noticed it was nighttime. She saw Sunny stumble out of the car and she could feel her heart thumping. He looked to be drunk as he came to the otherside and opened the door for his bride. They supported each other before reaching the front door. He quickly picked up Amy and carried her over the threshold.

Allie had to fight with herself to contain her hurting heart. She reminded herself that she was there to help Sunny, not to feel pity for herself since she should be the one he was going to carry over the threshold. Her thoughts were interrupted when Sunny and Amy barged through their room, stumbling over their own foot as they landed on the carpet laughing like kids.

Allie jumped from her seat as she backed away to the other side of the bed and she remembered that they could not see her. Her heart eased itself when she saw how happy Sunny was looking at Amy. "Thank you for marrying me." he sighed at his wife.

Amy smiled while he layed clumsily over her wedding dress "You can thank me in the morning when you're sober." she eased herself up and put out a hand to help him up "I'm gonna go change into something more comfortable." she giggled like a little girl.

Allie was in total shock, she was about to witness their special first night. She rushed to the door but it was quickly closed by Sunny. She jumped backwards and took a deep breath as she reached for the wall hoping that she could walk through it. To her dismay, it was solid as can be. "NO!" she cried. She did not want to witness their lovemaking. She slumped down against the wall while Sunny began stripping down to his boxers and undershirt. Allie crawled to the corner of the room as she burried herself against her hands.

It was hard enough to see them together but to witness their first night together, she could not handle it. And it seems she was meant to be there. She covered her ears not wanting to hear anything she did not want to hear. But something told her to look, so she looked up. She saw Amy coming out from the bathroom in a darling pink lingerie. Sunny sat on the bed with his arms wide open and Amy smiled as she jumped on the bed and sat next to him. She looked at him dearly, she knew what he was thinking "Don't be sad, she wouldn't want you to be."

Even after two years, he could not forget about Allie. Amy knew it but she was willing to give up her own sanity. Normal girls would not be able to handle their husbands constantly thinking of his dead girlfriend. "I know." Sunny sighed. He tried hard to push Allie out of his mind but she continued to haunt him. After so many days where he saw her in his dreams, he knew he could never forget her nor did he want to. But Amy was there by his side through thick and thin. She held the restaurant together when he broke down for three months. "I don't know why you agreed to marry me."

She smiled as she leaned on his chest "I don't know how to help you forget the past, but I do love you with all my heart. I feel happy just to know that you asked me to marry you."

He stroked her hair lovingly "What did I do to deserve you?"

"You're a good person, you've got a great heart. When you turned your restaurant into a food shelter for the poor, it made me fall more in love with you." Amy smiled as she hugged him warmly.

At that very moment, Allie understood God's words. Sunny was there to do good, he would be in charge of building the biggest shelter for the homeless in Hong Kong. "You deserve so much more than me." Sunny sighed sadly.

Amy sat up with a smile "One day, you will realize that you do deserve me." Suddenly her smile faded as she got off the bed "I deserve to be loved. I know you will fully love me one day. But until then, I will give you your space."

To Allie's amazement, Amy took one of the pillows and left the room to sleep in one of the other empty rooms. She saw Sunny rubbing his eyes with frustration. He had a great girl and she was more understanding than he could hope for. He reached into the bedside table and took out a shoebox. Inside was a ringbox. Allie walked closer and saw him pull out the ring he was going to use to propose to her. She couldn't help but cry as he began to sob. He missed her terribly even after so long, he could not let go.
