After the filming was done, the editting of the movie only took a week. Soon the premiere night came as everyone decided to come and support Nick. Sunny was a little hesitant but Amy was excited to come. They have not done anything fun for the past two years and a half.
At the large theatre where the press stood waiting for the stars to arrive. Steve stood in the background with Allie by his side. He waited there nervously for everyone else to arrive. One by one the couples came in. Josie dressed in a black maternity dress had her husband in a monkey suit.
Allie smiled as she saw the two come in "Aww...don't they look nice." she gushed. Steve glanced at her with a grin as he walked over to greet them.
"You guys look great. There are assigned seatings, so sit on the chair with your name on it." Steve explained.
Josie smiled brightly, her eyes dancing from the camera flashes "This is so exciting, I've never been to a premiere!" she hugged her husband happily "I can't wait to see it." she looked around for Sunny "Is Amy and Sunny here yet?"
Steve looked around "I don't think so." the minute he said it, Amy and Sunny arrived hand in hand, her face full of smiles while he looked to be more overwhelmed by the press and crowd "Speak of the devil." he waved to them.
Sunny saw Steve first as he walked over to them. "Hey, you guys are early." he commented. He was dressed in a black suit and silver shirt. He looked quite classy, as did his wife in a dark blue dress. Sunny's smile broadened as he looked at Steve "Boy, you look good...for the first time."
Steve's smile dropped "What do you mean? I always look good."
Sunny frowned "No, not that I remember." he turned to Amy, Josh and Josie to get a second opinion. They all agreed with Sunny. "Who dressed you today?"
Allie smiled proudly "See, I told you." he was dressed in a dark gray suit with a white collared shirt and a light gray tie. "You stick with me and you'll get more compliments than you ever got in your whole 40 years of your life."
Steve frowned "I'm thirty nine..." he said through clenched teeth.
The four looked at him strangely "Yeah, so?" Josie quiped. "But you look like you're 50. Although today you look like you're 38 and a half." her smart mouth could never be forgotten as Allie smiled in envy. She suddenly missed talking to them, she began to feel emotional when Nick walked in. Every reporter was hanging on his every step and every word. Her time has come, this will either help Sunny or ruin him for the rest of his life.
Steve seemed to notice the tears welling up in her eyes as he moved away from the crowd and casually took her hand as he led her towards the back of the crowd "You okay Allie?" he asked while smiling, hoping to use it as a distraction from everyone else who was busy looking at the stars.
She wiped her tears "Yeah. I just can't believe that I have to say goodbye forever after tonight."
"You have to leave?" he asked.
She nodded "Yes. If Sunny moves on from the pain, then I will be brought back to heaven, never to return."
Steve couldn't help but erase the smile "Well, can't you talk to God or something?" she shook her head "Well, can you at least say goodbye?"
She shrugged her shoulders "Maybe. I don't know."
When the time came, the people with tickets and invitation poured into the theatre. The last two rows were reserved for the stars and their guests. Nick was a great hosts as he pointed to the chairs where everyone were to sit. Steve sat next to Nick and on the right side of Nick was a bouquet of beautiful flowers. The other side of the chair was Sunny, Amy, Josh and finally Josie.
Sunny sat down as he looked at the empty seat between he and Nick. He saw the card name that read "In loving memory of Allie". His heart nearly stopped as he looked up at Nick "What is this?" he asked.
Nick looked over as he smiled "Oh, it's just that when Allie was alive, she said she wanted to come to at least one of my premieres. But since we never made it, I decided to dedicate this seat for her. You don't mind do you?" he asked with concern.
Sunny shook his head like a mummy "No..." Amy noticed his grim face as she took his hand and gave it a little squeeze. He turned to her with a smile "I'm okay." she nodded with relief.
Nick sat there quietly as he closed his eyes slowly trying to see if Allie was there "I'm here." Allie's voice answered his questioning thoughts "You mind moving the flowers?"
Nick opened his eyes, a smile on his face as he shifted the flowers to the edge allowing Allie to sit down. Within seconds the movie started. About halfway through the movie, the response was more than Steve and Allie could wish for. She heard sniffles from most of the crowd as they cried when the main girl died from a car crash. Allie turned to Sunny to see his reaction. His eyes did not blink as he took in the movie whole heartedly. By the end of the movie, she saw a single tear fall from Sunny's eyes.
Sunny felt oddly strange sitting in that seat watching the movie that was almost a replica of his own life. He couldn't help but connect with the main guy's role. Nick did a magnificent job playing the emotional role. The movie received a standing ovation from the crowd when the lights turned on and the credits rolled. Sunny turned to Amy with a look so earnest she wanted to cry. Aside from the point that she did cry throughout the movie, she felt more vulnerable.
He lifted a hand to touch her face for the first time "I'm sorry." he whispered.
She smiled through tears "Don't be." she shook her head. The two hugged dearly as they ignored everyone else.
Josie wiped her tears as she and Josh smiled at Sunny and Amy. She did not understand why they were so emotional but she guessed the movie had a great impact. When they began to move the crowd outside where interviews were to be taken, Steve wasted no time to ask them "What did you think of the movie?" he asked the four of them.
Josie laughed as she hit him square across the shoulder "Why didn't you tell me it was that sad?? I didn't bring any tissues!"
"She had to use my hankerchief." Josh wrinkled his nose while everyone laughed. Josie pushed her husband playfully. "I thought it was great." he said honestly.
Sunny had a content look on his face that Steve knew he has not seen before "What about you Sunny?" he asked.
He smiled while placing an arm around Amy "It was oddly familiar. But I understand the meaning behind it. You are a master of romance stories."
Steve laughed "I know." he gloated happily while Allie stood a few steps behind smiling at her friends. She was happy at the outcome. "Sorry guys, I have to mingle." Steve excused himself and walked over to Allie "Come on." he walked with her to where there were less people. "So I think it's a good response." he looked at Sunny and Amy who had on genuine smiles that he has not seen in a long time.
"They are finally happy." Allie replied. "I'm happy for them." Suddenly she felt a surge of electricity run through her body, she gasped while Steve looked at her with concern "I think it's time for me to go." she looked around and found Nick standing there looking at her with a smile. "Nick? You can see me?"
Steve followed her gaze but did not see anyone "Nick is over there being questioned by the mob." he said.
Allie looked at her friend and back at Nick "God?" she asked.
He nodded with a deep laugh "Yes, I thought you'd never guess." he walked to her and with a click of the finger, time froze and everyone stood motionless. "Now then. It's time to go, my dear."
Allie shook her head pleadingly "Can I say my goodbyes first?"
He sighed "I have already let you off unpunished for talking to Nick Cheung. You know my conditions."
She nodded "I know, I'm sorry. Please, I want to say my goodbyes. Afterall, I never got to say them when you took me back that day." she pointed out.
"Very well." he smiled "One more day. I will see you tomorrow." he snapped his fingers and disappeared through a beam of light the skyrocketed through the ceiling while everyone began to move again.
"Who are you seeing?" Steve asked.
Allie shook her head "Nothing. Nevermind." she smiled at Steve "Can you do me another favor?"
"Sure, anything." he had grown attached to her.
"Get everyone to meet me at my gravesite tomorrow morning. I don't have much time left." Allie said sadly.
"Consider it done." Steve smiled happily but it quickly faded as he realized something "But what about my...problem?"
Allie smiled "You don't need help. Just a bit of confidence and a new wardrobe. You saw the response to your suit tonight. You know you're capable of finding the right girl if you don't aim too high. You can attract more woman if you don't try to stand out." she said with reason.
He nodded understanding her finally "I guess." he smiled warmly "I don't know what I'd do without your advice. I never saw that I was too flashy. I always thought I was more than confident. I should have realized it when I sweat everytime I'm around an attractive woman."
"Glad I could help." she smiled at the crowd. "I'm going to take a walk...collect my thoughts for tomorrow." she began walking away "Don't forget." she said before disappearing aroudn the corner.
"I won't." he replied with a smile on his face.
*****************
The next morning as promised, Steve brought everyone to Allie's grave. He found her sitting on her gravestone looking out at the city life. The group seemed to be in high spirits. Sunny's hand never left Amy's side while Josh helped his pregnant wife up the flight of stairs. Steve trailed behind while he tried to reach for Nick's hand but Nick was smart as he dodged it each time "Hey! A little help please?" Steve groaned as he was far behind everyone.
They laughed at his misery while Nick placed his arm on his hips "I told you to get on that diet!" he shook his head "Come on, I'll help you." he stepped down and held out his hand. Each time Steve tried to grab for it, Nick would pull back "Oops! Sorry...come on." he coaxed. He teased him all the way up until they finally reached the row where Allie's grave was. Nick laughed "See, you reached it all on your own!" he laughed harder when Steve tried to attack him with limp legs. "Come on old man, you can't beat me."
The other four laughed with Amy shook her head "Little boys."
They all seemed to calm down when they arrived at the gravesite. Steve quickly smiled when he saw Allie, she had a look of content and ready to anything. "Like I promised." he said.
The four looked at him strangely "Okay, that's like the 10th time he's done that. Did any of you guys noticed that in the past three months?" Josie asked.
Nick cleared his throat "Please everyone, a bit of silence for Allie. She may not be here with us but she is here with us in spirit."
Steve finished it "Yes. She is among us as we speak."
The four threw each other questioning looks "This is not funny." Sunny said in a serious tone.
Amy agreed "Yeah, come on guys."
Steve shook his head to get everyone's attention "I know this sounds overwhelmingly difficult to digest...or believe. But you have to trust me. Allie is here in spirit."
"Steve, by the time you finish explaining, it would be my time to leave." Allie pushed.
Steve held up his hand "Okay, Allie has to say her goodbyes. Come on guys, can you trust me for once?"
Josh stood up for Steve "I think we should just do as he says, maybe he knows something."
"I think Nick does too." Amy pointed out at Nick who was quiet just taking it all in.
Steve nodded "Please, close your eyes and you will know what I mean." he turned to Allie and smiled "All yours, Allie."
Everyone did as he said except for Sunny, he was in disbelief and could not agree to this madness. Amy sensed that he was tensing up as she looked up, her smile calmed him down "It won't hurt." she soothed. He smiled and did as she told.
Allie smiled at them lovingly "My friends." Josie put up her hand and gasped when she heard the voice of a friend, a friend that could never be forgotten.
"Allie?" Josie whispered as fresh tears collected in her eyes. She squeezed Josh's hand while she smiled.
Sunny's tears crept out from under his eyes as he held onto Amy's hands even tighter. "Sunny, Josie, Nick, Josh and Amy. How I missed you guys so much." she began "Thank you so much for missing me and never forgetting me. As you may have guessed, the movie you saw last night was based around Sunny's life. Why? Because I want to show you that life is about moving on. There will be good news and there will be bad, you must move on with your lifes. The more you dwell on the past, the more pain it will cause you and others that care about you. I am in a better place and I want you guys to know that I am so happy to have met you and became friends with such wonderful people. I can only hope that I have touched your lives one way or another." she paused from the tears that began falling from her face.
"I felt like half of me left with you when you died." Sunny replied "I couldn't take the pain. I know now if it wasn't for Amy, I would have killed myself long ago."
Allie smiled at Amy "Amy...gosh, she is probably the best thing that has happened to you, I'm just glad you know that now. Josie and Josh, I will pray for your unborn child. I'm so happy that you two have started your family. Sunny and Amy, I hope you will start yours soon." she turned to Nick "Nick, you are such a gracious person. There are no boundries to your giving heart. One of the few people in this entertainment industry that I truly admire. And lastly, Steve...you have helped more in more ways than you may ever know."
"Try me." Steve smiled while the others chuckled.
Allie giggled softly "I don't have that kind of time. It would be endless." she winked at him "My time has come. Remember guys, don't look back because it's already passed. I would always be watching you even if I'm not with you." she felt her body being lifted. The light around her was so bright, even Steve had to cover his eyes. Everyone else remained still until they no longer heard her voice.
They opened their eyes slowly "Ladies and gentleman, you have just witnessed a miracle." Steve sighed as he turned up to the sky. They all smiled with their eyes full of happy tears.

In heaven Allie was standing before God "Allison, you have said your goodbyes, now it's time for you to move on."
Allie nodded "Thank you for granting me that wish."
He smiled "Your welcome. Once I snap my fingers, you will not remember anything that happened in your life. You will not remember anyone that you have loved, hated etc...You will be happy and will always be happy. You shall never feel anymore pain for the rest of the eternity."
Allie smiled contently as she closed her eyes, ready for the journey "I understand." she heard a loud snap and a gush of memory surpassed her mind, memories of how she met Sunny, Josh, Josie, Amy, Nick and Steve. Her childhood passed before her very eyes. She felt weightless as her body travelled to a new destination where she would no longer feel any pain.
