A side-note: Just awhile back (not sure when), Jacky Chu FG said in one of his interviews that he wants to take on a role that has a strange sense of righteousness or maybe a cop. Honestly, I never knew about that until recently so it's just a coincidence that I cast him as a undercover cop in here. Just want to clarify that bit. And recently I just found out something quite funny and too much of a coincidence also as I was writing the chapters. But I'm going to tell you guys that one another day when I post that chapter up.
I'm currently working on Chapter 60 (Yes, it's getting that long since just look at the cast!) and it's almost done! I think! At least for this part. I'm going to cut it off soon since I don't want to make it all draggy after these two cases. Meaning? There will probably be spin-offs and/or sequels later but a different story (of course).
Okay, I'll stop rambling on and here's the chapter.

Jacky walks towards the building to the right as he steps out of Gallen’s car. He’s late and he knows that his girl will be upset. This is his last straw. Somehow, he doesn’t seem to have an anxious expression on his face. He’s always calm and collected. The calm exterior disappears as he finds the door to the Apartment E wide open. Lights are off. He rushes in with speed, searching for clues as to what has happened. He runs from one end of the hallway to the other, calling her name. His voice turning anxious the more he calls her name.
Jacky: Jan! Where are you? Jan! This isn’t funny! Jan! Come on!
Sweats form on his face as he comes to realize that it isn’t a joke like he hoped it would be. He stops in his tracks and tries to calm himself down again. He can’t be falling apart like this. He needs to look for clues. He takes in a deep breath and wipes the sweats from his forehead. He then approaches the front door again, flicking on the light switch. It’s been cut, like he suspected earlier. He fishes out the penlight from his pants pocket and points it around the apartment slowly. When the light ray goes past the kitchen, there’s a sparkling light responding back that he has to slowly move it back toward that area to see what it is. He approaches the kitchen slowly and finds a necklace on the floor. He shines the light on the necklace and recognizes the necklace immediately. It was the one that he gave Jan last year for her birthday. It’s a simple crystallized-circular pendant with a picture of the two of them inside with a simple black string attached to it. He has one also. It was a pair. Jan had loved it since she was so surprised. Of course she was since he had one of his friends took the picture of them when she had fallen asleep in his arms one time. He thought it was a great idea for a gift and it was. Jan never took it off no matter what. This is serious.
Jacky circles around the whole apartment again, looking for other clues. His phone rings suddenly, making him nervous.
Jacky: Hello.
Voice over the phone: I got your girlfriend so don’t you make any sudden moves, Mr. Chu.
Jacky: What do you want?
Man: Impatient, aren’t we?
Jacky: Get to the point or I’ll hang up.
Man: And risk the life of your girlfriend?
Jacky: If you got her, prove it.
Jacky hears some rustling sounds following some woods being knock over and then the man speaks again.
Man: Talk to your boyfriend.
Jacky knows how stubborn Jan could be at times. He knows that she’s fighting a battle right now and isn’t easily pushed around by others. He also knows that the man had put the phone on speaker so he has one shot to get a message to Jan.
Jacky *in a calm voice*: Do whatever you want with her. I don’t care. You’ve got the wrong person. Have a nice day.
Man *to Jan*: He must love you a lot, huh? Wanting to risk your life like that. *to Jacky* Meet me at The Bay tomorrow at noon. Don’t be late. Last chance.
Jacky hangs up before the man could go on further. He hurries out of the apartment and locks up before he goes.

Jacky was very anxious he found out that Jan had been abducted but he was so cold in the end with his responses, what happened? Why is he doing this? Any guesses? Kind of obvious but just wondering if you guys have different thoughts about it. (Well, I'm sure only one of you are reading but oh well, nice to do these lines! I suddenly want to sound creepy! JK!)
