Wallace couldn’t help but wonder why Tim’s at this area of town. Tim just moved in recently after the murder, which Wallace finds odd since no one wants to move in after what happened. He knows at least six families are planning to move out. There could be more later. As he was driving by before, he saw a guy in Tim’s car but couldn’t make out the features. Then the guy had gotten out of the car while Tim turned to wave at him. Who was the guy meeting in that apartment building?
Wallace shakes his head to clear his mind. He reminds himself that he has got enough to worry about already. Mr. Zhao had been beyond upset after Vincent’s been kidnapped. Things haven’t been the same at the company or at home since last week. Not to mention the murder on the 5th floor.
His phone rings at that moment, which he expected.
Wallace: Ken, what do you got now?
Kenneth: We’re sure that it’s family related. That’s why this whole setup looks like a copycat job from the beginning.
Wallace: You mean his family would do such thing to him?
Wallace knows that Alyssa’s parents had pass away already since she had raise her sister and brother by herself so it can’t be her Kenneth’s talking about. It must be Vincent.
Kenneth: Not his family as in his parents, more like his relatives.
Wallace: Can you cut through the chase already?
Kenneth: It’s his uncle.
Wallace: How can you know for sure? That guy seems harmless to me.
Kenneth: Half of the criminals look harmless.
Wallace: Ok. You got a point, but do you have proofs?
Kenneth: Yea. Of course I do. Meet me at the old place and I’ll tell you more later.
Wallace: Ok. Be there in about fifteen minutes.
Kenneth: Ok then. And Joey is working on the other case right now since I already got Brad and George on my team. So from now on, it’s the four of us.
Wallace: Alright then.
Wallace hangs up and drives toward the end of the city area to the woods again. Wallace admits that Kenneth is clever but he’s very strange and paranoid at times that Wallace couldn’t really get used to. But he guess he can’t argue that it’s the safest place.
