Rain picked up the scrunched up piece of paper and opened it to reveal a song…

Rain gasped at what she just read and then the lyrics suited her situation with Alex as well, did Alex like her since high school? Was that really possible?
Rain decided to help Alex; she personally really liked music herself and learnt to play piano so she wanted to change some of the lyrics and some notes to make it sound better…
For some reason after she changed some of lyrics and some of the piece she was very happy and she found herself thinking about Alex for the rest of the night, but that didn’t bother her, she liked it even though she knew that whatever Alex wrote on the sheet was just lyrics… and it was nothing serious or personal…

When Rain arrived at school the next day she scrunched up that sheet of paper again and placed it where she found it, hopefully Alex would come to his senses and try to fix the piece, then she walked to her room, smiling to herself the whole day…
After 20 minutes Alex walked over to the bin and saw a piece of scrunched up sheet, assuming it was his, he picked it up, unscrunched it and read the lyrics realising that they were changed slightly but the meaning was still there, then he noticed that the piece was slightly changed too and he hummed it in his head, it sounded really good… so he decided to take it to the music professor, Miriam…

Rain sat on her chair swirling the pen in her hands and humming a song to herself but Niki could still hear it…
Niki: Hey! Nice song!
Rain: Huh?
Niki: That song you’re humming, who sings it?
Rain: No–one *got back to work*
Niki: Oh…

The Miriam was satisfied with the piece and told him to play it at this function and so he agreed.
But Alex still didn’t know who helped him and he was determined to find out…
Alex: Did you guys help me?
Edison and Won Bin burst out laughing
Won Bin: Are you kidding?
Edison: We don’t even like or know how to write music
Alex didn’t think so either but it was still worth a try… who could it be? Who liked him? Well a lot of girls… *sigh*
Just then when he was deep in thoughts he slightly bumped Niki who just fainted at the sight of Alex…
Alex: Are you ok? *bent down*
Surely she wasn’t

When Niki opened her eyes she could see Alex and Rain looking at her…
Niki: Alex… Rain…
Alex and Rain: Are you ok?
They looked at each other and then focused back on Niki
Niki: Oo…
Rain: *looked at Alex* what happened?
Alex: I don’t know *shrugs*
Rain: *stood up and pointed to Alex* it must’ve been you! What did you do to my best friend?
Alex: I…
Niki: slightly weak on the chair* Rain…
Rain: Don’t worry Niki! He’ll pay for what he did to you!
Alex: I…
Niki: He did…
Rain: See? Even Niki says so!
Alex: Me? *points to himself*
Niki: No…
Rain: What happened?
Niki: I just fainted by myself…
Rain: Huh?
Alex didn’t say anything he was staring at the, what looked like a photocopied sheet paper… it looked like his song…
Rain: Hey!
Alex: What? *looking back at her* I didn’t do anything… she just somehow fainted!
Rain: Sorry lor! You can tell the whole world if you like! Isn’t that what you do best? Making fun of me?
Alex: No
Rain: No? What was that supposed to mean? You and your two best mates teased me all throughout high school! And now University! What else do you want?
Alex: Sorry
Rain: You think that will do? You thought wrong! I hate you!! *walked off with Niki grabbing her arm hard*
Alex saw that the sheet of paper he was looking at before was still on the table and so he decided to have a look at it and it was indeed his song…
