Charmaine saw a poor grandma crossing the road without looking at the red light and a car was heading her way so she quickly grabbed the grandma’s hand and pulled her to safety.
Grandma: Thank you
Charmaine: That’s ok; just watch where you’re going next time
The grandma put her hand into Charmaine pocket of her thin jacket and took out her wallet without Charmaine noticing at all…
Grandma: Bye then! *walked off*
Charmaine decided to go home now after walking for a while so she walked to a bus which had barely anyone init, she nearly forgot how to read the timetable but managed to hop onto the right bus.
Driver: Excuse me; you haven’t put in your money
Charmaine: Oh sorry… *looking though her pocket for her wallet* it’s gone!
Driver: Please get off
Just then Edwin walked into the bus because he hadn’t been on public transport for so long so he decided to go on again but while he was taking his money out he dropped a $5 note and Charmaine not thinking twice picked it up and handed it to the bus driver who happily took it and gave her the change.
Edwin: Um… *shy as usual*
Charmaine: *turned around* Edwin?!?!?!
Edwin: Charmaine? It was you?
Charmaine: Sorry about the money *puts the change in his hands* here’s the change; I’ll take u for another treat!!
Edwin: its ok… *smiles* u don’t have to repay me *walked off the bus*
Charmaine: *shouted after him* aren’t you going on the bus?
Bus driver: *closing the bus door* can’t you see he likes you but doesn’t want to admit it?
Charmaine: When did I ask for your opinion and u were the one who told me to get off!!
Bus driver: *starts driving* I didn’t say anything
Charmaine: *Thinking* I like Edwin too! He’s so nice!! He helped me so many times, I met him unexpectedly so many times too… is this fate? I hope so!! *excited*

[2 weeks later…]
Rain: *looking through the shelves of the library* this one! Switzerland!
Alex: Let’s go to Canada
Rain: No! Switzerland!!
Alex: Come on Rain, Canada is way better
Rain: it is not!
Miriam: Keep quiet please, this is the library
Rain: I hate you Alex! *stomped off*
Alex: *running after her* Rain!
Miriam: *talking to herself* no running either… *sigh*

Niki: *holding onto Edison’s hand* nearly the end of university… what are your plans for your holiday?
Edison: *stops and faces Niki* I have to go back to England… mum said she has something important to tell me… *looks down*
Niki: *lifts his head up* really? Mum wants me to go to England for some reason as well…
Edison: *sigh* I won’t see you for so long…
Niki: Don’t be a baby!! *looks around*
Edison: *kisses her* I love you Niki
Niki: Edison!! *blushes*

Edwin: I can’t hear her, she can’t see me
Charmaine: *taped on his shoulders* Edwin
Edwin: *mumbles* I’m not Edwin…
Charmaine: *stands in front of him* you are!!
Edwin: *looks up* Hi…
Charmaine: What’s wrong with you?
Edwin: Oh… nothing
Charmaine: Have u eaten dinner?
Edwin: *quickly* yes I have
Charmaine: *grabs his hand* I still want u to come with me!!
Edwin: Huh?

[At the restaurant]
Everything was set out already perfectly, there was no one else in the restaurant except 2 waiters and a musician, Edwin found this place exceptionally familiar…
Edwin: *mumbles* have I been here before?
Charmaine: *Thinking* maybe it’s a bit sudden for him to set this up fro him, but I really like him… well my personality is straight forward anyway… hehe!!
Edwin: Charmaine *standing still* why are you doing this, for… me?
Charmaine: *stands close to him* because I like you!!
Edwin: Well I don’t! *walks off*
Charmaine: *running after him* Edwin!!
Edwin: *stands still* I don’t like you Charmaine, I won’t ever… you’re poor! You don’t have to make yourself look so rich to get my money! I’m not going to like you!
Charmaine: What are you talking about? *walking over to him slowly*
Edwin: I just can’t be with you!
Charmaine: *looking at him* I am NOT poor and I DO NOT like you because of your MONEY!
Edwin: *looks up* Huh?
Charmaine: I don’t!
Edwin: You’re rich?
Charmaine: That doesn’t matter to you anymore! You don’t EVEN like me!! *cries on the floor*
Edwin: *bends down* I didn’t mean that *helps her up*
Charmaine: *pushes him away* get away from me!! Can’t you tell I like you? Yet you want to make me sad!! *cries*
Edwin: *Thinking* I do like you, Charmaine but mum said I can’t have a relationship with a poor girl but now I have meet someone as rich as my family… *stands up and walks away*
Charmaine: *looks up* Gone? Stupid Edwin!! *cries*
Just then someone put a cone of her favourite flavour, strawberry in front of her
Charmaine: *looks up* Edwin?
Edwin: Sorry, this is for you
Charmaine: I don’t want it! *pushes it away*
Edwin: Charmaine, I’m really sorry… *gives her the ice cream*
Charmaine: Do you think that one ice cream will do it?
Edwin: Charmaine…
Charmaine: *giggling through her tears* you idiot!! Got ice cream all over you!! *laughing*
Edwin looked at his navy shirt; it was stained with strawberry ice cream
Edwin: Oh…
Charmaine: You’re really and idiot!! *hugs him*
Edwin: I really like you
Charmaine: *pulls away* I hate you *starts hitting him*
Edwin: *holds her hands* Nothing will tear us apart, nothing… ever will…
Charmaine: You said so!! *hugs him*
Edwin: *nods*
