"Hey girls, guess what? Out of all of us, guess who's got a boyfriend?" Jenny asked when it ws pitch dark outside, the Unique Clique girls' dorm was quiet and brightened only by the light of the moon and a small lamp outside.
"I know! I know!" Kylie called out, "It's Brigit!"
"Hey! That's not me! If there was something going on with me and Jon I would have told you guys about it before I told Jenny! So, it must be you and that Benjamin guy!" Brigit called out in protest.
"Haha, very funny, Brigit. I can't stand ten feet near that jerk! We were each standing on opposite sides of the island, thinking of ways to prank each other, tell me if that's romantic!" Kylie replied.
"You're right," Brigit stopped, "It's Courtney, isn't it?"
"What?!" Courtney suddenly jumped.
"Yeah, it's her alright. She kept saying that she was thanking him for a wonderful day, after she was bleeding and all, he thought of ways to cheer her up." Jenny smiled at Courtney who was now looking a little embarrassed.
"Ya don't have to be embarrassed, Court. Things like these happen to us girls all the time, it's natural. But that guy seems a little 'booky', you know, reading too much and stuff, what do you like about him anyway?" Brigit and the others leaned closer to hear her.
"You can tell us! It's all part of the Unique Clique secrets!" Kylie smiled.
"Really guys, there's nothing between us, I was bleeding, he lifted me up, brought me to some flower vlaley to cheer me up and that's all..." Courtney explained.
"Yaya. Come on, we wanna hear it in complete details." Jenny smiled.
"Okay then," She blurted out everything, but she kept it as uneventful as she could, but nothing seemed to bore them about the things she said.

Three days after the 'Big Event', Courtney felt relieved that no one in the camp was talking about them. There was only five more days to go. Then, goodbye marine camp, goodbye Unique Clique and goodbye perfect world.
Everytime Courtney and Wayne ran into each other, there would either be a, "hey," or a, "hi," followed by a, "bye," or a "see ya later."
It carried on like that, and the Unique Clique girls could not stand that Courtney wouldn't do something about the 'almost relatonship'.
"Oh come on Courtney, look, tomorrow we have this trip to Saraben Island to go diving for treasure and do beach activities, the rest of us want you to do something, this is the only chance you got." Brigit said, they were back in the dorm and there was only five days left.
"I'll see to it, okay? Don't rush me. Besides, I hate rejection."
"How'd you know he'll reject you?"
"It's just a feeling, Brigit."
"Well, it's such a negative feeling toward you, think about him saying yes or something, whatever it is, get the answer by tomorrow, okay?" Jenny added.
"Okay. I'll try. But I can't promise anything." Courtney sighed.
"Great!" The rest of them shouted and returned to their beds.
"Ya, great..." she sighed again and was starting to be more worried than ever.
