Teacher: Okay guys, I’ve helped you guys planned the schedule for your rehearsals. We’ll rehearse according to the scenes for easy reference…
Charlene: I’m sorry, can we shift all the scenes that require Juliet and Romeo to appear together to a later date?
Teacher: Why?
Charlene: Um… because I… I need more time to memorize the lines. The lines are longer for these scenes.
Teacher: Oh, alright. Are you okay with that, Show?
Show: Yeah, I’m cool with that.
-End of Flashback-
Show wondered why Charlene made such weird request. No matter how she avoids him, they still have to face each other and act together. Or maybe she’s planning to do something to push the role to someone else? Show really wanted to know what Charlene is thinking. Actually, he has always been wondering what Charlene is thinking. She always seem so mysterious to him. He wanted to know more about her. Why she avoids him? Why she hates him? What is she really like towards other people? Is she kind? Is she funny? The more he thinks about it, the desire to know her grew stronger…
It’s lunchtime now. Show was sitting with his friends having their lunch. Charlene’s presence entering the classroom caught his attention. She was walking with her friends, chatting happily and she didn’t realize the obstacle in front of her. She tripped and fell. Being an active sportsman, Show sprung to save her from her fall. This caused Show to land on Charlene by accident with his left hand holding to her head to prevent collision with the ground.
When Charlene came to realize what happened, she looked up at Show, stunned. Show noticed Charlene’s face began to blush and the next thing he knew was that he was being pushed away by her.
Charlene: Oh my god! Get away from me!
Charlene picks up herself and ran off. Show was shocked by her reaction. What the heck? I just saved her and she was disgusted by me? Show felt a pat on his shoulder and turned to look. It was Derrick, his best friend.
Derrick: guess you’re not liked by ALL women after all.
Show: stop being so sarcastic.
Derrick: hey, I’m just joking. But I wonder why she reacts like this.
Show: I have no idea either.
Show decided to confront Charlene. What is wrong with her?
