3 months passed quickly and now, they are walking into their University, Cavendish University. It’s a prestigious school that offers scholarship to every student there. It’s very hard to get the scholarship unless you are the top 5% in the whole country for the national exam. Lucky enough, Guigui and Aaron, along with her best friend Rainie, were smart and were able to obtain the scholarship.
Holding hand in hand, they entered the school gate with people staring at them. Guys looking up and down at Guigui, girls looking at the muscular chest of Aaron’s. They smiled at each other as they walked down the hall. Turning to their left after walking 5 metres, they stared at a notice board.
“Aaron, 1C2.” He spoke.
“Guigui, 1C2.” She echoed after him.
Aaron held her hand tighter as they walked into their homeroom. Sitting at a corner of the room, they saw a handing waving hysterically at them.
“Hello Rainie.” They greeted in union.
Rainie smiled. “Aw, the loveliest couple in the whole world is studying together, again.”

Aaron had been going back to Hong Kong once every month during the weekends because he had to visit his parents. Guigui didn’t stop him because she knew how much a family means to one. Soon, it’s been 6 months since Aaron came back. It felt like a dream to Guigui, a dream she never want to wake up from.
“Lunlun! Look at this!” Guigui shouted across the street, where her boyfriend was buying drink for her.
‘Gosh, doesn’t she know how embarrass that was?’ Aaron thought as he walked towards her with her favourite drink, Strawberry Ice Milk Tea.
“Guigui, if you still want this boyfriend of yours, please don’t shout my name so loudly, especially when you are calling me ‘Lunlun’.” Aaron said.
“Oh, so now you think I’m a nuisance? Fine then.” Guigui stomped away.
Catching up with her, he pinched her cheeks.
“Sorry, don’t be angry please.” He pouted.
Looking at his cute face, Guigui smiled.
“Ok, then I won’t shout your name loudly alright?”

They were on their way to Guigui’s house when they stopped their track. They saw a black limo parked outside the house. Aaron held Guigui’s hand tightly and entered the house. An elderly couple was sitting on the sofa, chatting with Guigui’s mother, who was looking on the floor. They turned her head and looked at them.
“Hello my baby.” She went over and hugged Aaron.
“Mum! Dad! Why… Why are you here?”
Mrs. Yan sighed, “Can’t I see how my precious little baby? You have been here for months and only return to Hong Kong to visit us for a couple of days. We miss you.”
“Of course you can Mum, but why didn’t you inform me to pick you up?”
“Don’t ask WHY questions. We are here now right? Speak, both of you are together now?” Mr. Yan pointed at Guigui.
Guigui stared at Mr. and Mrs. Yan, speechless. She opened her mouth, but no words came out.
“How disrespectful. Can’t you greet us?” Mr. Yan eyed on her.
“Good… afternoon Uncle and Auntie.” Guigui said.
“No no, don’t call me Uncle. It’s so informal… Don’t think you can pass my stage so easily. Listen girl. There’s no way you are going to marry Aaron.”
“Dad, I told you tons of times that I love Guigui and will only marry her. Can’t you take the fact?”
“No son, I can’t. I tried to persuade you to go back to Hong Kong but you rejected me every time. You wasted 6 months just to be with HER!”
“Dad! Even if you don’t like Guigui, I’m still going to be with her.”
“Cool down Honey. You wanted to have a nice conversation with Aaron, didn’t you? Let me talk instead.” Mrs. Yan interrupted.
Aaron’s father took a deep breath and signaled his mother to speak.
“Son, what your Dad means is you need a capable woman to support you in the future to take over the company. And he doesn’t think Guigui is able to help you.”
“But Mum, both of us are in the Business course. She is capable to be the woman behind me.” Aaron argued.
“Of course she’s capable. But we just don’t know yet.”
“Son, are you going to disobey me just because of that girl?” Mr. Yan yelled.
“Sorry Dad, sorry Mum.” He pulled Guigui out of the house.

“Why did you do that?” Guigui shook off Aaron’s hand.
“Then what do you want?” Aaron was getting frustrated.
“They are your parents! You shouldn’t be so rude to them.”
“They were being rude to you. And you are trying to help them?” Aaron paced around her.
“They are doing that for your own good. You know how much I wanted a complete family. You have a father and a mother to care for you. I don’t want you to quarrel with them just because of me.” Guigui suddenly let go of herself. She cried and cuddled onto Aaron.
“But I don’t want to lose you.” Aaron said.
“I don’t want to lose you too. Just do whatever your parents want you do to. And I will try to please them.”
Aaron smoothed her hair. They looked at each other and engaged into a passionate kiss.
However, someone hid behind a tree, furious about the scene.
“I’m going to separate both of you. Just wait and see.”

Walking hand in hand, Guigui and Aaron entered their homeroom. They were envied by many of their friends in both courses. One is a handsome dude, the other a pretty babe.
“Morning people!” Aaron waved at the class.
Guigui, on the other hand, walked over to her seat beside Rainie.
“Tell me all about your date yesterday.” Rainie bugged Guigui.
Guigui sighed. “His parents came back.”
“And what does that mean?”
“They dislike me. They want Aaron to break up with me because I’m not suitable for him.” She tried to hold her tears.
“Ok, if you want, you can come to my house later.” Rainie said as she rubbed Guigui’s back.
Rainie knew too much about her. She saw tears gathering in Guigui's eyes and whenever Guigui’s unhappy, she will offer her to go to her house, where Guigui spill all her unhappiness.
