I was so surprised when I saw him approached in our sit. Well I thought the next chair beside Hana’s seat was empty but my guess turned to be wrong when I saw him, man that I most avoided after last night’s incident and almost made me lost this flight. My driver which I thought should be had a fast think as a Formula One driver but turned to be so slow when he need to decided until he made our flight being delayed.
I couldn’t help my self to ask him. “Hey why you are in Taiwan’s flight? You are from Brunei right?”
“I have a personal matter there.” He answered while put his bag on the top.
“With your girl friend?” Hana suddenly asked him. That was very impolite and since when Hana knew the world of girlfriend or boy friend. Well.. my daughter seemed more mature than her actual age.
“Hana! You are so impolite with him!” I had to scold her because she asked such a very personal matter to Wu Ji Zun.
“It’s okay.” Wu Ji Zun smiled while answered her question. His smile was so sincere so I was very relieved when I saw his smile. Seemed like he already so close to Hana. No wonder since Hana always being a nice little girl that friendly with everyone. Then he sat next to Hana.
I fixed Hana’s seat belt and prepared my own seat belt. When I busy with y seat belt I could hear Hana already started the conversation with Wu Ji Zun.
“But I wanna be your princess how could you already have a princess?”
He rubbed her hair and said. “Well… she is just my girl friend and not my princess. You are my one and only princess.”
I heard his answer and his answer was so sweet. He really understood my daughter’s behavior. Surprised to see him could be getting along well with Hana although they just met like three days ago.
“Really??” Hana wanted to make sure about my driver’s answer I believe. That was actually Hana’s habit. She always tried to make sure every answer that people gave to her question. In that area she really like my mirror because I also didn’t want to get misinterpret with someone’s answer.
Then five minutes later the plane was taking off. I saw Hana already became didn’t relax. That was what always happened to her when she was on the plane. I thought she must be get a little phobia about plane which was I surprised since we always used plane when she followed me to my work.
“Hana, do you want to sleep in my lap? I know you couldn’t sleep on the sit.”
She nodded and she opened her seat belt. Just when I wanted to take Hana on my lap, Wu Ji Zun said. “It will be too hard for a woman to hold Hana in a couple of hour’s flight. I could do that.”
I didn’t want Wu Ji Zun getting more involved with my life so I had to reject him. “It’s okay. I used into it.”
“I insisted.” There was something in his voice that almost made me granted his offer. But I still on my word until Hana interrupted us.
“Mom… I want to sleep on my prince’s lap.”
“Are you sure dearie? You never able to sleep if not with your mommy or daddy.”
When I said those words suddenly the beautiful memory came back to my mind. Memory when we were in heaven, in heaven with an angel between us. With Hana between us,
===Flashback===
“Let me hold Hana Ella….” Baron asked me when we were in the plane. Hana was 2 years old and finally we able to brought her work with us.
“No, I’m just too in love with this angel.”
“Hey… do you think I’m not in love with our daughter too? She is our princess; of course I love her very much.”
“I know you are…” I handed Hana to him while kissed him on his lips. It just a simple kiss but it never failed to make my heart beat faster whenever I did that. It was 3 years of our marriage bur what I felt to him still same like 4 3 years go when we met.
Then I saw Hana slept in his arms. Baron also slept. I knew he never able to stay awake whenever he was in the plane.
These two persons were the most precious things in my life. I promised to my self I will do everything that I can do to keep them in my life. Everything.
===End of Flashback====
Everything. I really sacrificed everything to save my precious things. I sacrificed my own feeling. I sacrificed my mind when I always accept him over and over again although he already made a couple of mistakes. But that was love. Nothing smart about love.
I covered Hana’s body with the blanket. When I covered her body, I touched Wu Ji Zun’s hand.
“Ah. Sorry.” Why I need to say sorry? I mean there was nothing wrong with it right. I just touched his hand and why I suddenly felt awkward. Perhaps that because he was the first man that I encountered closely after Baron.
“No problem.” Then he also helped me to fix Hana’s blanket. He seemed didn’t feel awkward. Well perhaps it just me that felt awkward.
“You have a girlfriend which is from Taiwan?” I tried to open the conversation. I didn’t know why but the topic that I had on my mind just his girlfriend. Perhaps Hana really affected me.
“Well… not really. Actually she is from Hongkong but she has a job in Taiwan so yeah….”
“You able to speak Chinese then?”
“Ha ha… Yes I’m able but my ability is so suck until I didn’t want to try it.”
“Well… as a Formula One driver you have to always have confidence.”
“But my Chinese really weird. I even didn’t dare to talk with my girlfriend with my Chinese.”
“Try to me then. As your race engineer I suggested you to able speak in many different languages. It’s okay to sounds weird sometimes. My self learn Japanese because I work with many people from Japan. And you… you will encounter with Chinese people since your girlfriend from Hongkong then. One of the ways to respect people around you is to get close with them. By learning their language it could be the best way.”
Then he tried to speak Chinese in front of me. Actually yeah… his Chinese was so funny until I couldn’t hold my self to laugh at him. But I also fixed his misspelled. It was more like I also became his teacher.
“See… its fun to learn language isn’t it?” I said to him.
“Yeah… its fun because you are the one who teach me.”
Well… his answer sounded so weird isn’t it. I didn’t know I had to say thank you or what so I decided to read the magazine that I brought. Why its fun because I was the one who taught him huh?
I kept read my magazine while once a while checked on Hana. She seemed slept peacefully in Wu Ji Zun’s arm.
Finally the plane almost landed so I woke my princess up so she could sit again his seat and wore her seat belt. “Dearie, wake up, we almost there.” I kissed her cheeks when I woke her up. It never failed to woke her up but this time it failed. I didn’t want to shake her body because I was afraid she will be surprise and wake not in a peaceful way.
“Do you mind if I tried to wake her?” Wu Ji Zun asked me.
“No. But please tried to kiss her cheeks first because…”
“I knew, I just saw your method to wake her up.”
Then he kissed Hana’s cheek and surprisingly Hana woke up. “Actually I already woke when Mom kissed me but I also want my prince kiss me.”
“Naughty princess.” Chun said while put Hana in her seat and fixed her seat belt. It seemed like my role had been taken over by him.
“Mommy… I couldn’t wait to see grandma.”
“Me too dearie. You already prepared your Chinese so you will be able to speak easily with grandma?”
She nodded while whispered a few sentences in chinese. Growing up with following me at work when mostly I used English as a main language it made she need to learn Chinese more. Things will be different if she agreed to live with my mother.
Finally the plane was landed and I grabbed Hana’s hand and walked to the airport with Wu Ji Zun beside me. I could hear people said in Chinese “They are such a lovely young couple.”
Are they kidding? Young? I am 27 years old and the most bothering was Wu Ji Zun is not my husband.
Then he asked me. “What did they say?”
“Nothing.” I will never let him know what they said.
Finally we were in the airport lobby. “Hana… say good bye to my driver.”
“Bye-bye Prince.” Hana hugged Wu Ji Zun.
The moment when I almost said goodbye to him. A beautiful woman ran to him and hugged him tightly then kissed his lips. I seemed familiar with her.
“Mommy, she is Charlene Choi! I love her kungfu movie!” Hana screamed when she saw her and almost ran to approached her before so many reporters ran and bumped into her until she fell.
“Honey!” I immediately ran into Hana. “Are you okay?”
“Well… seemed like my prince and Charlene so busy with those people.”
“Those people are reporters darling. Charlene is a celebrity that’s why. Come on lets go home dearie.”
I hold Hana’s hands. I thought not only Hana who was disappointed with the fact that we saw in front of our eyes. I bothered more with the fact that his girlfriend was a celebrity . Even before he entered the famous team, he already had a celebrity as a girlfriend. I thought he was better than him. It seemed like I was wrong. I never had a good impression to celebrity since my encounter with Angela Zhang. The one who was ruined my family.

[Author’s Note]: Well.. it will be a long story… ha ha. I miss to write F1 thingy honestly but it will ruin the plot if I forced to make the story going faster. Tell me what you think about this chapter.. I really loved to hear that ^^
