I still couldn’t believe what I just had said to her. I confessed my feeling to her. I still confused when I left the hotel that night but I quite sure now. When I saw her face this morning I just knew I didn’t make a wrong decision. I just pretty happy when I saw her face, I just have not met her for seven days and when I saw her face I just realized that I missed her so much.
I walked into Hana’s room. Actually I didn’t know where her room was, I just knew she walked to the upstairs. I searched for her room and I could recognize her room just by looking at the poster in front of the door. On her room’s door there was Honda-Petronas Team poster and Ferrari Team poster. I knew how much she loved her mom and dad so this room door just Hana’s typical.
I knocked Hana’s room. I heard she answered. “Prince is that you?”
“Yes it’s me. May I come in?”
“Just open the door, it’s not locking.”
I opened the door and I saw Hana opened a photo album. She looked very serious at the photo album. I stood in front of her and she told me to sit beside her.
I saw the photo album and it was Chen’s Family photo album. When Baron still became a part of this family. “Do you miss your father?”
Hana didn’t say anything. She kept rubbed Baron’s pic with her little hand. I felt the pain that she felt when I saw it. She indeed missed her father so much. I could tell by looked at her expression.
“Chun… Why did my mom and dad separate?”
“Well… Sometimes adults must be separate because of many things. For a better situation and better life. Perhaps you are not understood now but I’m sure you will be understood when you are getting older.”
She closed the photo album and said. “I do understand why. That was because of that woman. That artist who stole my father from me and my mother.”
“A woman?” I asked her curiously.
“There was a woman. When mommy went for work to Japan, this woman often played in my house. Once, I ever saw her in my mom’s room with my father. Naked. I don’t know what they are doing but from my father’s angry expression I could feel they did a terrible thing. I still remember even I was 3 years old at that moment, but I could remember completely because even I tried to forget it, the memory always come in my mind. After that, my mom always cried everyday. She cried everyday until my mom and dad separated. We didn’t live at one house again. Mommy asked me to live with grandma here. I know their decision is for a better situation. At least for my mommy. Her cry every night stopped gradually. Perhaps Mommy didn’t know that I always know when she cried. I’m glad that mommy was not crying again. That’s the reason I know that they separated for a better life.” She explained to me.
Actually I really adored her. She was so matured as a 4 years old girl. Even she just understood the problem in simple way, but she got the main point. She just wanted her mother to be happy. That was all matter for her.
“So do you can accept that your mom and dad separated?”
“Yes I do. Mommy never explained to me but I guess she doesn’t know that I understood why they need to be separated. I just want her to be happy.”
I didn’t know what I have to say to her. “Come on Hana. I promised that I will accompany you to take a walk. Don’t you bore at home?”
“Come on!” She held my hand and suddenly the mature Hana changed into usual happy Hana. Two sides of Hana which I loved them both.
I walked down from the upstairs and I saw Ella washed the dishes. “Ella, Hana and I will take a walk for a while. Is that okay?” I asked for her permission.
Without even turned her head, she replied “Hana take care of your self. Remember that…”
“Car in the road is not like car in the circuit. They didn’t have timing so they will come unexpectedly. It was us that had to prepare, so I have to be careful on the road.” Hana continued Ella’s sentence.
“Okay… You may go Hana.”
“You will not join with us?” Hana asked Ella.
Ella didn’t answer but I knew she will not join with us because of me. I immediately answered Hana. “Your mom need to prepare something for the work. Just two of us I thought it will be fun too isn’t it?”
Finally Hana and I walked to the park. Hana wanted to play in the park. I wondered whether she had friends or not. It seemed like most of time she just hang out with her mother.
“Hana… do you want to ask your friends to join with us?”
“I didn’t have any friend. You are my first friend.” She answered in a low tone. There was a sad feeling when I heard that.
“Why?”
“Because… I often follow my Mom in many countries and I even don’t have time to play with them in the weekend.”
“So what? They will wait for you. After the weekend they will play with you again.”
“Is that so? So they will not leave me if I didn’t play with them in the weekend.”
“If they leave you, so that will be their loss then. Find other friends then. “
After we arrived at the park, Hana started to play. She found some friends which also at the same age like her. She happily played with them. I just sat and watched her. Sometimes she fallen because she just too active. I wanted to help her but she woke up by her self. I felt she was a very independent kid. Her independent’s side just likes her mother. I enjoyed take care of her.
Finally Hana finished her play. It almost 12 pm and it was time for lunch. That’s why other kids also went home. She sat beside me.
I asked her. “Do you have fun?”
“Yeah it is! I’m quite happy I meet some new friends. Prince… I want to go to school.”
I quite surprised when she said that because before this she said she didn’t want to go to school. “Finally.”
“My mom will miss me and I couldn’t take care of her.”
“Don’t worry, your mommy have so many friends in our team. They will take care of her.” From what I know, Hana really cared about her mother. All she worried was her mother.
“Prince, do you like my mother?” She turned her face in me so I could see her adorable eyes clearly.
I was quite shocked with her question. “Of course I like her. She is my race engineer if I don’t like her, my job will become difficult.”
“I mean, do you like her like my father like my mother?”
Is it quite obvious? I mean, was my feeling quite obvious until 4 years old girl knew about my feeling?
I thought I didn’t have ay choice than tell the truth to her. “I like her Hana. Do you mind with it?”
She smiled and said. “I don’t mind. I love my father. I love my mother. My father will be forever to be my father but my father couldn’t be forever to be my mother’s lover. If I didn’t agree than I feel so selfish.”
“How could you become so mature Hana? You are 4 years old!”
“If age is everything to measure a mature of someone then I will not agree if you like my mother! Because you are younger than her.”
I smiled. She said again “Their divorcement make me think a lot Prince. What I understand now is I just want my mommy to be happy. Anyone who can make her happy, I will allow them to love my mom.”
“I promise I will make her happy.”
“Better be you will break your promise because if you break your promise you will not just face her but also me! I heard when people get married they promised to stay together until forever. I know my father broke the promise. So I knew I couldn’t just believe men’s mouth. I have to still maintain you.” She said in serious tone.
“I just want her to be happy. That was all matter to me. I saw her crying too many times. I just didn’t want to see it again.” She stood and walked away from me.
I ran into Hana and held her hand. I could feel that her body was shaken. I knew it must be difficult to her to let someone chase over her mother except her father. But I also knew that for her, her mother’s happiness was everything. When I thought about her story when her mother cried so many times because of Baron, it really made me mad. Ella was crying too much until it broke Hana’s heart.
I knew I couldn’t take out this decision. Decision to chase her and to win her heart. I will break two persons heart if I did it. Ella’s and Hana’s. This is my life race. I have to win this race.

Suddenly her name popped in my mind. I also had to tell her about this. I didn’t want to lie with her. She deserved the truth just like me that chase for my true feeling.

I betrayed her. But this will not long until I told her. I will tell her for sure. I will tell her how much I love her in the past but how I found that I was not the best for him. She was not the best for me. Too many differences between us that make us fighting and fighting again.
I will tell her after this. Right away to her apartment. I don’t live in a lie and so does she. She deserves the truth.

[Author’s Note]: Ah.. Another crappy chapter from me. Desperate after ferrari LOSE… ha ha. *sigh*. Now 3 drivers on the top with same points, Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa. Crazy!!! Ha ha. But still Ferrari drivers still on top (Kimi and Felipe). Sorry for my crappy A/N here but I just want to share how disappointed I am yesterday… Yeah… very disappointed!! Lol… It was a rainy race *which make race become more interesting* and Ferrari made a big mistake with didn’t change the dry tyre into intermediate one… *sigh*… Ha ha… Anyway… because of that my mood became not good today… lol…. So hopefully your comments can make my day brighter :P
