"Where are you going?"
"I have to get up. It's late already."
Ji Hoon sat up and looked at her. He brushed some strands of hair off her face.
"Do you regret what happened last night?"
She looked at him a bit then turned away. "Ji Hoon....I...last night I...."
Ji Hoon was mad at himself. He couldn't believe that he couldn't hold his feelings for her and had shown it to her last night. "I'm sorry."
She turned to look at him confused.
"I took advantage of you. I shouldn't.."
"Ji Hoon...I would have stopped you if I didn't want it. I don't regret it. It's just that....our marriage....will it be different now."
Ji Hoon looked at her and wondered what she was thinking. "Different?"
"Ji Hoon...is it going to be a normal relationship?"
Ji Hoon was confused. He didn't know if Eun Hye wanted a normal marriage or a different marriage.
"Relationship? You mean...the marriage between us.....is it going to be a wife and husband relationship?"
Eun Hye looked away from him. "You know......that it can never be that way. Last night was....I was.....last night, I was just caught up in the moment, but...I don't regret it."
Ji Hoon looked at her for a bit trying to see her expression, but he couldn't. "It was the same for me. I won't let it happen again. I'm sorry."
He got up to leave and she didn't say anything else.
At the breakfast table, her mom could feel something happened. They were acting different this morning.
"Eun Hye, Yoojin's going to be going to school soon."
Eun Hye smiled brightly at Yoojin. "Oh yeah! Yoojin, are you happy?"
Yoojin smiled at his mom. "Mommy, I can't wait. I go to school next week. Ms. Lee is very nice."
"Oh, she is? That's good. Are you a good boy to her?"
"Yes. I saw her kiss daddy one time."
She looked at Ji Hoon, but he looked away.
"Oh, really? Mommy, come with me. I want to show you my school report from my teacher." He got up and dragged his mom up the stairs. Eun Hye was still thinking of the kiss.
They were in Yoojin's room and he showed her his report. "Yoojin, you are such a good student. You got good marks. You're so smart." She kissed him on the cheeks and thought about the kiss again. "Yoojin....why did...Ms. Lee...kiss your daddy?"
Yoojin looked at his mom. "She kissed daddy because she fell and daddy helped take her to the hospital and then took her home. He didn't come home that night. I stayed with grandma."
"Oh, really? That's good. You're daddy is a hero to princesses in distress."
"Princesses in distress?" Yoojin asked confused.
"He's her hero. That's why she kissed him. Only heroes get kisses."
"Can I be your hero, mommy?"
She smiled at him and kissed him on the cheeks. "Of course. You're always my hero. You will always be my one and only hero." She hugged him and smiled unassuringly.
"Mommy, will you take me to school next week?" He let go of his mommy and looked at her.
"Of course." He took his mom by the hand and dragged her out of the room. "Where are we going?"
"Downstairs. I haven't finished breakfast yet."
She laughed and smiled happily at him. They came back into the dining room. Once she saw Ji Hoon, her smile disappeared.
Her mom got up and left the room. Ji Hoon got up and kissed Yoojin on the cheeks. He looked up at Eun Hye and smiled.
"I have an urgent meeting. It'll be all day." He walked past her and she turned to look at him and was about to say something. "Don't wait up."
Later that day, Eun Hye took Yoojin to the store to buy some things for the house. After a while of shopping, they went to a cafe near by to get something to eat. They sat by the window and she was looking outside. She saw Ji Hoon walking in the streets towards the cafe with someone. 'I thought that he had a meeting.'
Both Ji Hoon and the lady with him were laughing and she hit his arms. They both seemed happy and she felt irritated. The lady went to the restroom and Ji Hoon sat down at a table. She asked for the check and tried to avoid looking at his direction. Luckily Yoojin was busy playing on his video game, he didn't notice Ji Hoon. She paid the bill and got Yoojin and left the cafe.
The lady came back and walked over to Ji Hoon. "Ji Hoon, I'll see you next week."
Ji Hoon smiled at her. "Yeah."
She walked over to another table with a man waiting already. The man turned around and waved to Ji Hoon. He waved back.
The waitress finally came. "I'm sorry to bother you, but you just missed your wife. She left already."
Ji Hoon was confused. He came to meet a client. "What?"
