"I thought you weren't going to talk to him anymore?"
"It's going to be the last time for him. I did break his heart. I owe him a sincere apology."
"Eun Hye...are you sure...you want to go through with it?"
"Of course. I do owe him an apology."
"No. I mean, the marriage with Ji Hoon. If you're not sure....or.......still love...Taebin.."
"I can't. I can't think about myself anymore. I have Yoojin to think about."
"Why are you risking your happiness for a child you never knew about?"
"Do you understand how it feels to grow up with only one parent? To have that parent be both a mother and a father to you? I love my mom so much, but I also resented her because of that. She tried so hard to be both for me, I just felt suffocated. It felt like I had nobody."
"Do you think Yoojin feels that way towards Ji Hoon?"
"I know that he wants a mother very much. Growing up without the love of a mother is very difficult. And besides, he's really mine."
"What do you mean he's really yours?"
"Ji Hoon is his guardian, but we're both adopting him as soon as we get married. We'll both really become his parents."
"It is all for Yoojin. You're willing to sacrifice your life for this child."
"I love him. He's not really mine, but he's mine now. This is why I'm trying to make it work between Ji Hoon and I."
Eun Hye got up and left Ji Hyo's office. Ji Hyo was left speechless. "I never knew you would turn out this way. Ji Hoon has changed you in so many ways."
Eun Hye kept looking at her watch. It read 2:45 and she knew she would have to go soon. She got up and put on her coat. Grabbed her handbag and got her cellphone off the table.
Im Taebin was already at the cafe waiting for her. He saw her enter the cafe and he got up and waved her over. She came and sat across from him.
"Eun Hye, I'm sorry for this morning. I know that this will be the last time we meet. I just wanted to give this to you for your wedding." A guy enters the cafe with a wrapped gift. He handed it over to Taebin and Taebin handed it over to Eun Hye. She pushed it back to him.
"If you really want to congratulate me on my wedding, bring it with you to my wedding so my husband and I can both receive it together. I don't want it on my own."
"Eun Hye...do you really think that I would come to your wedding?"
"It's up to you, but I won't accept your gift. Ji Hoon might think differently if I took it right now."
"Eun Hye....do you really love him? I know that you don't love him."
"You know me too well, Taebin. That's what I've always loved about you, but what you don't know is how I feel about him. I don't love him yet, but it doesn't mean that we have no future together."
"Tell me the truth. Do you still love me?" Taebin was looking into her eyes to search for any answers.
Eun Hye looked away and then turned back to him. "I thought that what I felt for you was love, but now...I'm not sure. I don't think that I've ever loved you. I think that I liked you and your position in life."
"Eun Hye, I know that you still love me. I'm telling you this now. I won't be coming to your wedding. You won't see me there."
"It's up to you Taebin. This will be the last time we meet like this. Unless it's at my wedding, I won't be seeing you ever again."
Eun Hye got up and left him there while she went back to the hospital. On her walk back to the hospital her cellphone started ringing.
"Hello, Eun Hye speaking."
"Mommy...."
Eun Hye could hear Yoojin crying. "Yoojin, what's wrong?"
"Mommy...grandma....she's..."
"Yoojin, where's your dad?"
All of a sudden the phone dropped to the floor. She hung up and dialed Ji Hoon's number, but right then, there was a honk and she looked up to see a truck just a few feet away from her.

Her foot wouldn't move. She was just stuck there. All she could do was close her eyes and hoped it would all be a dream.
