"Oh, I invited him. Is it ok?"
Ji Hoon turned to kiss Eun Hye on the cheeks, but Eun Hye turned around to look at him at the same time, making both their lips meet. Ji Hoon pulled back immediately, but Eun Hye stayed the same. Both Mrs. Yoon and Ji Hyo just stared at them both.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that." Eun Hye finally came out of trance and looked at her friend and her mother. She then looked down to the table trying to avoid the stares from them. "I need to use the restroom. I'll be back to order my food." Ji Hoon got up from the table, but made a vomiting sound. They all turned to look at him.
"Ji Hoon, are you ok?" Eun Hye was worried that maybe he hasn't been eating. "Are you feeling queesy?"
"Yes. I'm fine." He walked to the restroom, but as soon as he entered the stall, he started vomiting. He cleaned himself up and came out after twenty minutes.
"You don't look good. What's wrong? Did you vomit in the restroom?"
Ji Hoon nods his head as he sat lazily down on the chair.
"Excuse me, miss." A waiter turned to their table. "Can I get some crackers and some carbonated water?"
"Sure." The waiter walked away.
"Hey! Are you having morning sickness?" Eun Hye turned to Ji Hyo with wild eyes.
"Morning sickness?" Eun Hye then turned to Ji Hoon who repeated the forbidden word.
"Um...."
Mrs. Yoon didn't know what to do except look back and forth between Eun Hye and Ji Hoon. 'She must have not told him yet.'
"Ji Hoon..."
"Are you pregnant?"
Eun Hye knew she wouldn't be able to get out of it so she just looked down again. "I'm sorry. I know I should have told you earlier, but I didn't want to surprise you with this before our wedding."
"What? You think that if you told me you were pregnant, I wouldn't marry you?"
"No...it's the opposite. You'd only marry me for the baby's sake."
"So...I'm the father?"
Eun Hye looked at him in the eyes and he could see a cloud come over her eyes.
"What do you think I am? I've never given it to anyone. You were my first."
Ji Hyo and Mrs. Yoon didn't know what to do or say.
Mrs. Yoon decided to break the uncomfortable conversation between the two. "So, how long have you been vomiting Ji Hoon?"
"Hmm...ever since...I came back from Seoul."
"OMG...Eun Hye, you don't have morning sickness, but Ji Hoon does. How cute! He loves you so much that he's taking the morning sickness away from you."
Eun Hye looked at Ji Hyo weirdly not understanding what her friend was talking about.
"If it's called morning sickness then how come it happens all day long?"
Ji Hyo looked at Ji Hoon who asked such a stupid question.
"I don't know? Why you asking me? Tell that to the person who named it that."
"Ji Hoon, maybe you should just go home for today. You don't look good." Eun Hye felt his forehead to see if he was having a fever too.
"I'm fine. I'll come home early though."
"Ok, but don't work too hard."
They all finished their meal and they all got up to leave. Eun Hye turned to Ji Hoon and kissed him on the cheeks. "Bye. I'll see you at home."
Mrs. Yoon and Ji Hyo was smiling at the cute couple in front of them.
"Don't forget to eat the crackers I packed when you're feeling nauseous again."
Ji Hoon nods and walked out the door.
"So...you didn't even tell him about the pregnancy?"
Eun Hye looked at her mother. "I was going to tell him after the wedding."
"Why would you want to wait?"
"I didn't want to trap him in a marriage that he would have to take responsibilities for."
"Eun Hye, he loves you. He would never think like that."
As they all walked out of the restaurant and made their way to the car, Eun Hye's cell started ringing.
"Hello?...teacher...what's wrong? Yoojin? What happened?"
Mrs. Yoon turned to Eun Hye as she hung up the phone. "What happened to Yoojin?"
"Mom, Yoojin's been kidnap."
