He looked at her and held onto her hands. "If you had tried to explain it, I would understand." They hugged each other while Joo Ji Hoon accidently walked into the area seeing them. He turned around and left the hospital. "When
are you coming home?"
She looked up at him. "I don't think that I'll be coming soon. My mother just had a heart attack. I have to stay here and take care of her for a while."
"So, you'll be staying at your......fiance?"
"I have no choice. I have no place to stay."
"How about a hotel?"
"I don't like it at hotels. I want to stay in a home." She looked at his worried face. "Don't worry. I won't do anything. I love you."
He was about to kiss her, but she turned so he got her cheeks. "We're in public. I don't want people talking."
"It's ok. I'm your fiance."
"Joo Ji Hoon is also my fiance. Everyone here knows that he is." She looked at his sad face at the mention of Joo
Ji Hoon. "When are you going back?"
"Tomorrow. We have an urgent meeting so I have to get back. Can I meet your mom?"
She looked at him surprisingly. "Why?"
"Well, she's going to know that I'm going to become her son-in-law one day. Might as well meet her now."
"No. Not yet. At least, not until the engagement is off."
"I've waited two years to finally meet your mom, but you won't even let me near her. Why?"
"She just went into emergency. I don't think she's well enough to meet anyone yet."
"Oh, okay." They got up and he sent her to her room. "Bye." He kissed her forehead and walked away.
She looked at his retreating back. "I'm sorry."
