Leaving You Behind

I could feel my whole body ache badly. My head, my hands, my legs hurts badly. I opened my eyes and found myself at the wad room. Someone came in. It was Wang Zi's dad, Hei Ren and someone else. His face is not as pale as Hei Ren but he doesn't look like a human. Is he a vampire too?

Hei Ren: Gui Gui, looks like you're awake. How are you feeling?

I looked around to make sure Wang Zi is not there. I didn't want him to feel guilty.

Gui Gui: I feel great.

I forced myself to smile. A small smile.

Hei Ren: Are you sure?

He examined my hand. He touched softly. I'd twitched.

Gui Gui: Ouchh...
Hei Ren: Sorry.. Anywhere else is hurt?
Gui Gui: No.. I'm fine..

I lied. But the guy that stand beside Hei Ren came forward.

Xiao Xiang: Hei Ren, let me have a look..

He took my hand and somehow my hand doesn't hurt anymore. I looked at him curiously. Does he have healing ability?

Hei Ren: Xiao Xiang, how is it?
Xiao Xiang: Nothing big. I already heal it. No bones fracture.

He smiled.

Gui Gui: Excuse me..

I say softly.

Hei Ren: Gui Gui, do you feel pain again?
Gui Gui: No!! I feel fine.. Thanks to Mr.Xiang for healing me.
Xiao Xiang: I'm not that old. You can call me Xiao Xiang.
Gui Gui: Thanks, Xiao Xiang. Uncle.. I..

I paused a moment.

Hei Ren: What's wrong?
Gui Gui: Where is Wang Zi?
Hei Ren: He is outside. I'll go out and call him in.

I nodded. Both of them went out. After few second, Wang Zi came in. I smiled.

Gui Gui: Wang Zi!

But Wang Zi kept silent. He didn't say a word.

I looked at him concerned.

Wang Zi: Gui Gui, I'm sorry.
Gui Gui: Sorry? Why?

I looked at him curious.

Wang Zi: I'd hurt you!!
Gui Gui: No, you didn't.. Look!! I'm fine.

I looked at him. He looked sad. He didn't answer back.

Gui Gui: Wang Zi..
Wang Zi: Don't tell me this. I saw how you get hurt. You're bleeding everywhere.. Luckily, Hei Ren and Fan Fan was there in time.. And Xiao Xiang too. If not, you're dead.
Gui Gui: But.. But now I'm fine.. That's matter! And Xiao Xiang heal me.. Look!
Wang Zi: No.. As long we are together, you will be in danger.
Gui Gui: What you're trying to say?

My eyes went teary.

Wang Zi: Maybe we are not suitable to be together.

Before I could say anything else, he dashed out from the wad. He left. He is gone. I was left crying on the bed. My heart was broken into pieces.
