After a brief encounter with one of the scientists who had worked on E-Six, in which he had suggested just rebuilding a new carrier to take E-Six’s place – he was currently sitting in a wine barrel somewhere, bleeding to death – Hero had come to remember something.
Sifting through his drawers, Hero tore apart his filing cabinet until he finally found it.
There, a little silver control with a bright red button that read ‘activate.’ Without much hesitation, he promptly pushed the button, awaiting the parallel signal from his computer.
Beep.
And there is was.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
It took but a few seconds to track her down, but within moments, his computer had zoned in to the very house – nay, very room – his E-Six was in. With a breath of relief, Hero grabbed his jacket and pulled it on, memorizing the address before he paged a good six dozen of his guards to meet him in the lobby.
“I’m coming,” he muttered.
