It was a week now that Ayumi had come to my house, acting as if she owns the place, she acts as if she the owner of Youngbae too. I cried every night knowing that Youngbae can never be the same. But-
Suddenly I felt as if I wanted to throw up, I felt dizzy, my head felt as if it was in whirl pool. What is wrong with my? I should go check up; I haven’t check up for almost 2 months now.
I decided to just that, I walked out of my room, locking it, as I go. No one seems to be around so it better for me to sneak out.
(At the hospital)
“Ms. Kwon, congratulations. You’re pregnant for 2 months now.”
“What?!”
“You’re pregnant” the doctor told me again.
“I’m-I’m pre- pregnant?”
“Yes.”
I can’t believe it? I’m pregnant, with Youngbae child. Should I be happy? Or should I be sad? After all, Youngbae don’t even remember me. No matter what purpose, I am pregnant with my child, and I will do everything to make his or her life better.
I walked home; I held my stomach, still unable to believe that I have a baby. I smiled to myself. I got home, safe and sound, but soon everything just went the other direction, because I came face to face with Ayumi…
“What are you so happy about? Can I ask?” she said.
“It none of your concern.” I said trying to be sweet as possible.
“Humph, so you do know I don’t like you, you know, I never hide the fact that I don’t like you.”
“I’m aware of that, and I don’t care, cause I don’t like you either.” I said not interested.
“YOU- well, I guess I underestimate your personality. You really do strike me as a goody two-shoe.”
“Thank you. But like I said, I don’t care what you think of me.” I turn to walk away.
“I just want to tell you Youngbae is mine, and only mine. Don’t try to take him with your young looks. I am more experience.” She said with a smug on her face.
“I’m sure you are, how many man, have you come across?” I asked uninterested.
“Watch your tongue, believe me, Youngbae will be mind, I’m pretty then you.” She said with a conceit posture.
“Oh- please learn to act your age, your attitude disgust me, how old are you? 25? Act your age, trying to act as if your 19 does not suit you at all.”
“Ugh!!! YOU BITCH!!!” she grabbed me and slapped me. I don’t like violence, but if you start then by all means, I am there to finish it with you. I slapped her hard across the face.
“What the hell?! What is going on there?” Jiyong yelled, everyone coming down to where Ayumi and I stood.
“Ow…Youngbae, help me, Jiyong your sister hit me, all I said is that you should sneak out without telling everyone where you at. She said that I was a bitch and that I should mind my own business.”
“You lying whore!”
“She then started slapping me.”
“OMG!!! Don’t listen to her, she lying.”
“Sue, when will you stop acting like a child?” Jiyong oppa said, shaking his head at me.
“You don’t believe me oppa? I’m telling the truth.” I said with tears in my eyes.
“How can I believe you, you always do things that you shouldn’t do, and Ayumi have no reason to lie, what will she get out of it?”
“I’m not going to argue with you anymore, oppa. I have enough surprise for one day. If you choose not to believe me, then don’t.” I walked off. Tears strolling down my eyes, Ayumi win this round, but not forever. (Deep sigh) she might have him for now, but I have a part of him, a part that I will never let go…
