Qiao En (POV): Phew... finally home! *sigh* Why am i treating him this way? Is that angry? jealous? Why's he so weird tonight? His attitude towards me had changed.. Being more gentle.. Ain't we buddies? CHEN QIAO EN!! Stop thinking!! Both of you are BUDDIES and nothing more!!
Next day...
Ming Dao *intercom Qiao En*: Qiao En, bring in the file on reclamation of land.
Qiao En: ok.
When she opens the door, she saw Ming Dao staring at her. Both of them suddenly have a sense of weirdness.
Qiao En: Here's the file. I gotta go out do my stuff. Anything else just intercom me bah..
Ming Dao: Wait!
Qiao En: Huh? What?
Ming Dao: I need to discuss something with you.
Qiao En: Regarding? (POV) better not be yesterday's thing.
Ming Dao: Regarding Shao Wei's birthday, what gift should we get for him?
Qiao En: oh.. this one ar... hmm.. let me think first then tell you bah. *wanting to leave his office asap* Anything else.. if not im going out le.
Just as she's about to open the door. Ming Dao walked up to her.
Ming Dao: Wait! *closes the door and cornered Qiao En*
Ming Dao(POV): my heart's beating real fast. Butterflies in my stomach.
Qiao En: LIN MING DAO!! What the hell are you doing?? Go away!!
Ming Dao: I'll but not now! I have no choice but to do this. Let me finish saying something.
Qiao En: ok. Can you please step back? Keep a distance?
Ming Dao: No! You will open the door and walk away. Can you just allow me to finish what i need to say? Is it really tough?

Ming Dao: Shut up and listen *angry* Yesterday what you see isn't real. That girl was my ex-gf, broke up few years ago. Tried so many times to explain to you yesterday, but you were avoiding it on purpose.
Qiao En (POV): Woh.. he knows ar?
Ming Dao: So i have no choice but to use this method.
Qiao En: So? end of story? Would you mind.. stepping back? Actually you don't have to explain anything what? Haiyo.. Given your character, you won't explain over such matters to anyone. Ming Dao: CHEN QIAO EN!! *stares hard into her eyes* Look at me and listen carefully! I'm explaining to you because there's a need! I don't want you to misunderstand!
