Qiao En: Uncle, Aunty, Happy Wedding Anniversay! Thanks for inviting me for the dinner.
Mr & Mrs Lin: Oh hi Qiao En, you're here already!
Mrs Lin: Ming Dao, get Qiao En some drinks, i bet she must be thirsty.
Qiao En: Aunty, it's alright i can take it myself.
Mr Lin: It's alright, Ming Dao is a guy afterall. Let him do it.
Mrs Lin: Qiao En, shall we have a seat there?
Qiao En: Sure.
They sat down at a table by the pool side. This time Ming Dao came.
Ming Dao: Qiao En, your favourite Orange Juice.
Qiao En: Ok. Thanks.
Qiao En(POV): What did he just say? My favourite orange juice? He take note of all my likings? haha.. buddy for so long, he should know also bah..
Ming Dao wanted to sit down with them but..
Mrs Lin: Ming Dao, help your dad entertain some guests. I have something to talk to Qiao En.
Qiao En(POV): Something to talk to me? Sounds familiar! Sounds like Meng Zhe's father.
Mrs Lin: Qiao En.. Qiao En...
Qiao En *back to sense*: Har?
Mrs Lin: What happened?
Qiao En: O.. nothing. What is it you wanna talk to me about?
Mrs Lin: It's about Ming Dao.
Qiao En(POV): I knew it. Thank goodness we're not in r/s.
Mrs Lin: You have known Ming Dao for years already right? So how do you find him?
Qiao En: Huh? Erm.. Ming Dao ar.. well.. a smart guy, successful in career, nice towards elderly, filial, has his ways to make gers happy, except me la.. always like to bricker with me. Well.. we are buddies mah..
Mrs Lin *lol*: Didn't know my son is that good.
Qiao En(POV): What's her purpose of asking that?
Mrs Lin: Qiao En.. There's something i need to let you know *patting Qiao En's hand*. Ming Dao has been a very strong boy since young, as parents, we're happy that he's sensible not to make us worry. Actually, from last time, the way both of you treat each other, your uncle and myself know that you're the girl for him. We've been asking him, does he has any ger in mind. He kept saying he did but never bring her home. It was until the D&D, he confessed that he likes you. Ur uncle and i are so relieved. Ming Dao has finally grown up. No longer sees you as his buddy but as a ger whom he likes. To tell you honestly, ur uncle and i used to be in the same situation as Ming Dao and you. We're unlike other rich man who only sees the rich. To us, you're a good ger and we believe that Ming Dao and you will make a good pair. Trust me. Aunty's taste has never been wrong. That night after the D&D, we sat down and talked to Ming Dao. He told us, he really like you alot but don't know how to confess. He confessed in front of so many people because you have been trying hard to avoid him. Qiao En, may i ask, do you feel the same for Ming Dao.
Qiao En was so stunned when she heard all these from Ming Dao's mother. It's totally oppsite from what she thinks will happen.
Qiao En: huh? Erm.. Ming Dao..
Mrs Lin: Ger, no worries. I can tell that you like Ming Dao too. Let nature takes its course. Relax.. Think about what i have said. Ur uncle and i have no objections if both of you are really together.
Qiao En: Huh? Erm.. ok.. Will think about it.
