Ming Dao: Both of you still talking ar? for almost half-hr le leh.. Mom, don't you have to entertain the guests? Im not the star for the night you know??
Mrs Lin: Ya la ya la.. You wanna stay with Qiao En right? Talk to me for a while also cannot huh?
Qiao En and Ming Dao blushed.
Ming Dao: Mom...
Mrs Lin: ok ok.. You keep Qiao En company bah... Qiao En if he bullies you, let me know yar!
Qiao En: Erm.. orh..
Ming Dao: So what were both of you talking about?
Qiao En: nothing.. just chatting.. Btw.. How you know i like orange juice?
Ming Dao: Der.. whenever we're out, you'll order nothing but orange juice. How can i not know?
Qiao En(POV): That's something i never notice about him..
Qiao En: O.. icic..
Ming Dao: I also know you don't like coffee, drink tea must add lots of milk. Seafood is ur favourite. You hate jackfruit and mango smell.. See, i'm so considerate to remember ur likes and dislikes.
Qiao En(POV): Woa.. he really knows a lot..
Qiao En: haha... pls.. don't brat.. We have been buddies for so long, of course you'll know lar...
Ming Dao *sad stern look*: Buddies.. are we only buddies and nothing more than that?
Qiao En: Erm.. well isn't it true that we have been buddies for so long?
Ming Dao: You haven't answer my question!
Qiao En: I replied.
Ming Dao: That's not an answer.
Ming Dao(POV): avoiding my question again..
Qiao En(POV): Do i really like Ming Dao?

???: Ming Dao.. so you're hiding here. Been looking for you here and there.
Ming Dao: Qiao Qiao??
Qiao Qiao: Yar.. suprise to see me here huh?
Ming Dao: Yar..
Qiao Qiao: i came with my dad since my mom went overseas.. Can get to see you also ma.. *hands ard Ming Dao's arm*
Ming Dao noticed Qiao Qiao's action and took a quick glance at Qiao En.
Qiao Qiao: hey Ming Dao, ur friend? Aren't you gonna introduce?
Ming Dao: This is Qiao En and Qiao En, this is Qiao Qiao.
Qiao En: Hi.
Qiao Qiao: So coincidence our middle name both start with Qiao..
Qiao En: erm.. yar..
Qiao En: Excuse me for a while answer a phone call.
Qiao En: Hello.. Jian Hua ar?
The moment Ming Dao heard Jian Hua's name.. he felt a tinge or sourness.
Qiao Qiao: Ming Dao, what's the matter?
Ming Dao: Erm.. excuse me. I have something to attend to now.
After saying all that, he walked quickly towards Qiao En. He stood right behind her. Just when she ended her call, the moment she turned, both lips met. Qiao En quickly stepped back.
Qiao En: Lin Ming Dao! What you doing lar!! All of the sudden stand behind me!!
Ming Dao *stern look*: You haven't answer the question i popped during the D&D.
Qiao En: What answer? What question? Today's ur parent's anniversary, i don't want to argue with you. Besides your friend Qiao Qiao is standing there waiting for you, aren't you going to her?
Ming Dao: You know what i'm talking about..
Qiao Qiao: Ming Dao..
Qiao En: Your friend's calling you. Don't have to bother about me.
Ming Dao pulled Qiao En's hand and walked towards Qiao Qiao.
Ming Dao: Qiao Qiao.. there's something i would like you to know, that's I have gerfriend already. She's Qiao En *holding her hand tightly*
Qiao Qiao *looking sad*: Really? Congrats. Qiao En, you're fortunate.
After saying that, Qiao Qiao left.
Qiao En shrugged off Ming Dao's hand.
Qiao En: What are you doing??
Ming Dao: Confessing! Acknowledging!! When are you going to walk out of the dark side of you?? Not all rich man are so stuck up! You're afraid of history repeating itself that's why you're avoiding me!
Qiao En: I don't know what are you talking about.
Qiao En(POV) How does he know about this?
Ming Dao: You know what i'm talking about!! You know who am i referring to..
Qiao En: I don't know what are you talking about and I'm tired, I'm going to leave.
Qiao En(POV): Better leave fast before Ming Dao do anything stupid again..
Qiao En went to Ming Dao's parents, apologise to them that she has something on and gotta make a move first.
Qiao En: Uncle/Aunty, thanks for the invitation. I have something urgent to attend to now, so i gotta go. Sorry about it.
Mr Lin: It's alright. I'll get Ming Dao to send you off. It's dangerous for a ger to go back alone.
Mr Lin: Ming Dao, send Qiao En back.
Ming Dao: ....... ok
Qiao En: It's alright. He needs to stay and help out. It's alright.
Ming Dao *pulled her hand* : let's go.
Qiao En(POV): Ming Dao's hand is so warm.. A warmth that i always yearn to have..
In front of his parents, she didn't do anything.. After they stepped out of the gate.. she shrugged off his hands.
Qiao En: Ok.. Enough. I'll take a cab back myself..
Ming Dao: What if i insist on sending you back?
Qiao En: I have the rights not to enter ur car!
Ming Dao: Chen Qiao En, can you not b so stubborn??
Qiao En: Look who's the one being stubborn here. I said i can go back myself! Go back and help out your parents. GO and apologise to Qiao Qiao, and please tell her I'm not ur gf!
Ming Dao: You really want me to do so?
Qiao En: I think you should!! Remember I'm your buddy.. just tell her that..
Ming Dao *became very angry*: whatever..
