Ming Dao.. since he's engaged, i guess it's really time for me to put aside this feeling. Maybe the guy whom i'm meeting isn't that bad? Let's just pray..
*knock knock*
Mrs Chen: Qiao En.. take some rest.. We'll be meeting them tonight.. Excited??
Qiao En *giving a sickening expression*: yaya.. I'm very excited about meeting him!
Mrs Chen: don't be like that.. He's a nice guy.. I bet both of you can click!
Qiao En: okok.. Let me catch some rest k? I'll get myself prepared for the dinner..
Mrs Chen: Glad to hear that..
Qiao En(POV): haix... what can i do? Run away? Guess that's stupid! Come'on Chen Qiao En!! It's only a guy! You can handle that..
At Ming Dao's side..
Ming Dao: I'm going out!
Mr Lin: We're having dinner tonight with the Chens.
Ming Dao: Yea i know! I'll be there for sure!
Mrs Lin: You sure?
Ming Dao: Do i look like the sort that gives empty promises?
Mrs Lin: Ok.. well see you at the restaurant then! Don't be late!
Ming Dao: ya.. i know.. dinner's at 7pm..
The dinner is like a nightmare to both Ming Dao and Qiao En.. Both of them were thinking of each other and also accepted the fact that they can only be friends and not fated to be together...
