Yoochun blinked a few times, his bloodshot eyes serve as a reminder of the countless of times he had cried himself to sleep. Though still in his twenties, too much stress and worry had left its imprint on Yoochun’s once perfect face. Fine lines formed on certain parts of it. His brown eyes had shadows underneath them, tattooed in by those sleepless nights he always had. But, even all these, he still looked beautiful. Their only effect on him was making him look older.
Yoochun stretched out his arms, yawned then lazily sat up. The wall clock read 7:45. Any minute now Junsu would be waking up, either silently or by throwing a fit. Either way, Yoochun would be ready. He got up and headed towards the kitchen. He took a bottle and filled it with fresh milk. Yoochun sighed. His tired eyes stared at the bottle of milk for a stern moment, until finally willing himself to take it to his beloved.
Yoochun walked towards his once shared-bedroom with Junsu.
I can’t even remember the time I shared it with him. He thought bitterly. That was so long ago, perhaps from another lifetime.
Yoochun heaved out a sigh again. He shook his head and mentally slapped himself for the depressing thoughts. He turned the knob as gently as he can and pushed the door open. He crept inside and closed the door. Yoochun moved as silently and as gracefully as he can towards the bed. To Yoochun’s relief, Junsu was still asleep. The younger man was comfortably lying down on the soft mattress, clearly too immersed in dreamland to mind the other guy’s presence.
Yoochun placed the bottle on the bedside table. Then he noticed something that was also placed there. An old framed picture greeted him like a long lost friend. He took it and looked at it closely. The frame was covered in a thick layer of dust. Yoochun used his hand and wiped the dust away, making the image more visible. It was a shot of him and Junsu as they were vacationing in Japan together some years ago. They were both smiling, looking up to the camera like their lives were perfect.
It was perfect. Yoochun thought.
He let out a small smile, one of the few he had let out in a long time. Yoochun let the smile linger for a moment or two until it disappeared when he put the old picture frame back on the bedside table.
Definitely from another lifetime.
A rustling of sheets woke Yoochun up from his daze. He was about to grab the bottle when he heard something he didn’t quite expect to hear.
“Chunnie?”
That familiar high-pitched voice seemed as close and as distant as it could get. He froze.
“Chunnie?” It uttered again.
Am I dreaming?
Yoochun still couldn’t believe his ears. He was still frozen there. His muscles seemed too shock to let him move.
“Yah! Chunnie-ah! Have you become deaf already?” Junsu’s voice finally said loudly, almost to a yell.
Yoochun started to shake uncontrollably. Tears streamed out from his eyes.
That definitely did not sound like it was from a dream.
Slowly, Yoochun turned to face Junsu. He saw the latter sitting up and glaring at him. His heart jumped. Yoochun hadn’t seen something like that for ages.
“S-su?” he asked incredulously, his voice cracking. He looked at Junsu, expecting him to disappear in any second. He didn’t.
“Who else?” Junsu answered. “Yah, Chunnie-ah, what’s up with you? Why are you crying?”
Yoochun couldn’t speak. His mind was still not able to process this moment.
Is this real?
He was still shaking. Yoochun’s face had turned red as more tears fell from his puffy eyes. He was crying, not of anguish anymore but of joy.
“Chunnie? Wh—”
Before Junsu could finish what he was saying, he was suddenly trapped into a tight embrace by Yoochun.
“Su-ah? Is that… really… you?” he asked in between sobs. Yoochun hugged him more tightly as if Junsu would disappear if ever he lets go of him.
Junsu was confused. “Of course it’s me. Who else would I be?”
Yoochun cried harder. He couldn’t utter a single word anymore. He was overflowed with emotion.
His Junsu had finally come back to him.
--------♥--------
Junsu had indeed come back to his old self, though not having any recollection of the past years of becoming Jun Hee or a baby. None of his past identities, nor any new ones for that matter, resurfaced.
As Dr. Changmin had surmised, it’s as if Junsu’s brain had somehow felt safe. That was why Junsu had finally come back… back to Yoochun’s waiting arms.

This is actually based off on a true story. Here's a part of the article.
"An unusual example of this condition was shown on the A&E documentary, "The Unexplained." Gary was a dairy farmer in Wisconsin with a wife and six children. When his eldest daughter died of cancer, he became obsessed with becoming a doctor. Then his wife Katherine was misdiagnosed with uterine cancer, and the thought of losing her proved to be overwhelming to him. In the middle of the night, Gary woke up claiming he was a woman named Mary and did not recognize his family. He moved out and began a new life, calling Katherine his sister. Then one day "Mary" was knocked unconscious. When she woke up she acted like a baby and had to be fed through a bottle. She did not recognize anyone. Gary's psychologist diagnosed him with an unusual form of multiple personality disorder. She discovered he'd been abused as a child. Eventually he returned to his original identity as Gary, but cycling through these personalities took years."
