Chapter 6
The car was coming at her at a very fast speed, she didn’t know what to do, she was too scared to move, ‘honk honk honk’ was all that she heard. She felt her body being pulled back into the sidewalk, she looked up too see her savior before she fainted.

‘ “Raymond, stay still I thought you said you wanted your ear pierce?” she was trying to get him to stay still so she can pierce his ear for him, “Well I want a professional not you.” He was trying get up from his seat, “Don’t be a baby, now on a count of three ok?”
Before Ray could say yes, he feels a pain in his left lobe. “AHHHHH I thought you said on the count of three?” he screamed.
“There all done, look.” She hand him a mirror, “doesn’t it look great?”
Ray looks at his left lobe and was really impressed. “Wow, it looks great. Thank you.” He leaned over and gave her a peck on the lips.’

Myolie opened up her eyes to see her family and friends staring at her, “Hmm, where am I?” she asked them. “You’re in the hospital Myo.” Maggie told her. “Ouch my head hurts, what happened?”
“You’re lucky that I saved you before you get squash by that car.” Ron stepped towards her.
“What, how did you even know where I was?” she was still in a dazed.
“Well after we left Maggie was worried about you so she told me to follow you and keep you safe, and thank god I did, I wouldn’t want know what would happen to you if I wasn’t there in time to save from that car.”
“The last thing I remember was Maggie calling me about Ray condition and… OMG where’s RAY?”
Every body in the room look at one and another smiling before they step aside to show Ray sitting in a wheel chair smiling at her.
Myolie was speechless, she was too happy to see him, for the past year she had waited for him to wake up and to see his smile again, now it’s finally came true.
The both of them lock eyes; everybody looks at them before silently exit the room leaving the love birds behind.
Myolie got off her bed and walk towards Ray, “Am I dreaming?”
“No you’re not, I’m really here Myo and I’ve missed you!”
“OMG Ray, you’re finally awake!” She cried as she embraced him a hug. The both of them hug for a long time.
“You’ve gotten skinny Myo, I’m sorry to have worried you.” Ray caresses her cheeks.
“I still can’t believe it, my wish have come true. I miss you so much Ray, not a day goes by that I didn’t stop and think about you.” Tears slowly falls down on her cheeks.
Ray wiped the tears away for her, his eyes started to form tears, “Don’t cry, don’t you know? It hurts my heart when you cry. Myolie I promise you that from now I will never ever let you shed another tear again.”
He lean in and kiss her, the both of them shared a romantic passionate kiss.

From afar you can hear the wedding bells. The grooms were happy that the day has finally came, “You ready Ray?” Bosco asked as he fixed Ray tie for him. “I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time now.”
“Ok guys its time.” Steve told them.
The grooms walk towards the front and stood there patiently waiting for their beautiful brides.
Music started to play. The flowers girls came in first follow by the bridesmaid. Then the wedding song came on, everybody stood up as the brides slowly walked down the aisle, Myolie was first followed by Tavia,
Ray was speechless to see her, she was breathtaking. Myolie walked down the aisle with a smile that has disappeared for the past year now have finally showed up.
He took her hand while Bosco took Tavia’s. The priest then started the ceremony, after they have said I do’s. Ray open Myolie’s veil, the two shared a powerful kiss, a kiss where the both of them lock in their love for each other.

After their honeymoon, Ray had fulfilled all of his promises to Myolie, he quit his job and together they have traveled all over, from Italy, Australia, Japan, America, France, to Antarctica and even more, and Myolie finally learned how to make Crème Brule, but just not as good as Ray but she’s getting there, she’s also learned how to ride a bike. They even finish watching Meet the Robinsons together.

The two of them holding hands while riding their bikes to the beach. They got off and walk towards their tree. “Ray do you know how happy I am right now?” she stopped in front of him. “Yes I do.” He said as he kisses her forehead to her nose and finally her lips. “You know what I’m tired, carry me to our tree?”
“Awe Mrs. Lam, do you know how heavy you are?” Ray joked before running for his life. “Raymond Lam comes back here this instant.” She chased after him, Myolie knows she can’t catch up so she did what every girl would do, ‘the trip and fall’. Myolie pretend to fall, she yells for Ray. Ray stops and ran towards her. “Myo are you ok?” he was checking for any injuries on her body, “Gotcha, Raymond Lam I can’t believe you calls me fat!” she got up and walk away, Ray ran after her and picked her up, “I was joking, my wife is the most prettiest women on earth.” He said as he carried her bridal style towards their tree. “Ray you and your words.”
They sat at their tree and look out at the sunset, “It’s so beautiful out here.” She whispered to him, “Yes you are.” He kissed her forehead. “Ray remember the first time we went camping?” she asked him, “Please don’t remind me.”
“Hahahah, it was cute how you try to put the tent together, even though it falls apart when even the lightest wind flown by. I still love that day, it was our first time together and the first time we said I love you’s and also my first time seeing the sunset with you.”
“Yea I remember that day, it was my favorite day also. Myolie close your eyes.”
“Why?”
“Just do it Mrs. Lam.”
”Hmmm I’ve never get tired of hearing that name.” she closed her eyes.
She heard something pops so she opens her eyes and looked up the sky to see fireworks play. It was a beautiful sight, she walk out of towards the beach and look up at the sky, the fireworks was beautiful, then all of the sudden the fireworks starts to form words, ‘I Love You Myolie Lam, Happy 3 Years Anniversary’
“Nice huh?” he went towards her and handed her a box.
“I love it Ray, now wonder what’s in here?” she opened to find a baby basket charm, she laughs and add it her bracelet, over the years Ray has bought her charms to make up his promise and also the ones that he has missed. Now her bracelet was heavy but she never wants to take it off.
“That charm should tell you what I want from you Mrs. Lam.” He smirks.
Myolie understood but pretend that she didn’t know what he was talking about, “Huh what do you mean?” she began to walk away from him.
Ray chases after and lifts her over his shoulder, “Don’t pretend you don’t know. We’re going home now.” With that he begins to run with her on his shoulder towards their bikes, while Myolie laughs.

5 Years later
“Ray, Nick wants you to read him a bedtime story.” Myolie told her husband.
“Alright I’ll be back.” Ray went to tend to his 5 years old son, while Myolie went outside and sat on the porch.
After a few minutes Ray emerged from Nick’s room, “He’s finally asleep.” Ray kisses Myolie on the cheek and held her, “Hmm how are you and my soon to be daughter doing?” he said as he rubs her stomach.
“Good.” She whispered.
The two of them sat there and look up at the stars.
Myolie was happy, Ray woke up, her and him got married, travel the world together, he fulfilled his promises to her, they had a wonderful son together, and soon to have a daughter. She was happy with her life now. She has everything she could’ve asked for and more.
Ray looks down at Myolie sleeping face, he kiss her forehead before looking up again, ever since the day he had met her, he promised to marry her and give her the most happiest life she could wish for. He loves her then and he loves her now. “I LOVE YOU MYOLIE LAM.” He whispered in her ears.
“I LOVE YOU TOO.” She mumbled.
“And we live happily ever after.” He said as he carried her back into their home.
