shancai: what is it, ah si ? come on, tell me. You’re
making me more and more nervous. What is it ?
** shancai heard a loud sigh from ah si before he spoke his next sentence **
ah si : shancai, since you rejected my proposal, let’s ..
break up..
** the word just come out of ah si’s lips without any hardship, while shancai was shocked by his decision and at the same time hurt **
shancai : break … up ? but why? Even if I didn’t accept
your proposal, doesn’t mean I don’t love you! It’s juz that
I’m not ready, why do you have to do this to me!
Ah si : I’m sorry, I don’t have any other choice.. you
reject my proposal now, then few years later, you’ll do the
same.. I better go through this now, then later..
** tears poured out, shancai’s sniffing could be clearly heard **
shancai : what do you mean by that! You cant predict what’s
going to happen in the future! What I said last night at
the beach is true!! After all we’ve been through, you want
to let go of this relationship! Why must you hurt me again
and again!
Ah si : I’m sorry… but I’ve decided, bye!
** hanging up the handphone and switching it off **
shancai : you idiot! How can you leave me like this! How
can I live without you! You are so selfish! Why cant you
leave aside some thoughts for me! Ah si!
** shouting to herself, as though ah si could hear every word she said **
shancai : you idiot! Argh!
** Plopping to her bed, shancai cried as hard as she could thus wetting her pillow
