The absurdity of Vic’s statement made Alan want to punch the television for it was such a huge annoyance. After watching the live broadcast of the press conference, he wondered why on earth Barbie would cry her heart out for Vic. The man barely had no sense of responsibility in his bones! Not that he had hidden grudges for the man all this time , but his views on love just made him feel nauseous. Fine, he regrets everything he had done in the past, he regrets ruining their relationship, but for heaven’s sake you can’t always just hurt a person and regret it when she finds someone else! You could say they differ on this aspect. Vic wanted to plan everything ahead of time, to secure a bright future for his lady while Alan wouldn’t let work affect his private life. If he loves someone, he wouldn’t let her go and fight for her till the end.
“You should have treasured Barbie when you had her..”
Alan thought as he reached for the remote control and turned the television off. He went straight to the refrigerator to have his favourite orange juice only to rush back to the living room when he heard the doorbell rang
“Who can it be? So early in the morning..”He muttered as he opened the door.
Alan couldn’t help but gape his mouth when he saw the man he was cursing just a few minutes ago.
“What are you doing here, Vic Zhou?”

The fragrance of flowers woke her up from sleep. Slowly, she opened her eyes only to discover that she fell asleep in a tulip plantation. Okay, breathe Barbie. She immediately jumped out of her bed only to find out that her room was filled as in completely filled with tulips. She loved tulips, but this is just way too exaggerated!
“I didn’t sleepwalk to a plantation, did I..? Barbie thought as she scanned her cozy room.
Every living specie of her favourite flower can be seen everywhere she looks. From Tulipa Acuminata to Tulipa Whittalli, name it, and it was present! She even thought that the sender was some filthy rich gardener.
She grabbed the card from her bedside table and read
“Scent of Tulips in the Morning”
She sighed deeply. Things became even more complicated after the Chanel Party. ZaiZai kept on flooding his inbox with sweet nothings and dinner invitations much to her chagrin. Was it selfish of her to wish for peace of mind? Fine, she loved the man and she loves him still, but she can’t just bring herself into a vulnerable situation again. Her break up with him sucked out all the risk-taking ability in her system.
With slumped shoulders, Barbie headed to the kitchen self- reflecting
“What’s with the gloomy face?” Xu MaMa asked as she put some bread on her daughter’s plate
“Ma..Am I being selfish?”
“Why do you ask?”
“I love him but I don’t want to appreciate the attention he is giving me..”
“And why is that?”
“He will just hurt me again..eventually..” She continued
Xu Mama smiled and stared at her feigning astonishment. “I didn’t know you had that fortune teller in you..”
“Huh?..”Barbie looked confused as hell
“How did you know he will hurt you again?..Stop predicting things Barbie..” She advised
Barbie smiled a little as she joked “Ma, You really love him more than you love me..”
“Not really..” Xu MaMa grinned... “Oh and by the way..Have you seen the news?”
“What about the gossips Ma?” She joked
“Certainly not gossips dear..Fan BingBing hold hands..ZaiZai resist..” Her mother teased in a sing-song voice
“Ma..Will you stop doing promotions for him?..”Barbie answered with face flustered
“I’m just helping my son-in-law..that’s all..Especially after he sent those tons of tulips..”
“Ma..He’s not your son-in-law anymore!”
“Oh come on!..I’d bet my most expensive bags!.. I’m sure he will be my son-in-law again..”
“You know Ma, I won’t be shocked if I found out that you’re a member of VIC International Cooperation. You just love him so much!..”She said humorously
Xu MaMa grinned mirthfully. Her secret was revealed.
