Her conscience seemed to rule her thinking. It wasn’t her intention to take things this far and to complicate the relationship to the point that it’s hurting the feelings of those people involved. Fine, she proved what she wanted to prove, she knew what she wanted to know, and Vic realized what she wanted him to realize. After planning the so called conspiracy with Alan, she absolutely had no idea what to do next. Moreover, Alan falling in love with her sister was a mile farther beyond her imagination could reach.
“Mr.Jin, please take me to Orange Cafe..”
“Yes, Miss..” The man answered as he drove safely towards the destination
SMS Message
“Zai, Meet me at Orange..I have something to tell you..”

Xu Residence
“Xiao Zhu..” Xu Mama greeted as she motioned him to come in
“Bo Mu..( Auntie )” He bowed slightly as he smiled
“What brings you here?..”
“Oh..” He grinned awkwardly “Uhmm...I..I’m going out with
Barbie today..” Alan stammered unconsciously
“I see..She’s upstairs...Just wait a minute..” Xu Mama stood up only to stop when the man called her shyly.
To say that the man was feeling shy would be a total understatement. He was sweating like crazy and fidgeting
like hell
“Bo Mu, Please accept me like your own son..” He bowed again, this time measuring a perfect 90 degree angle
Barbie’s mother had no reason to do otherwise. It was her daughter’s choice to start dating the man, she reminded herself. Although she was rooting for Vic all this time, she just can’t bring herself to frankly tell Alan about what she truly feels about this current set up.
As Xu Mama was about to confirm his request, Barbie emerged from the stairs, worries and anxieties about the topic of their conversation almost enveloping her facial expression.
“Ma..We’re dining out..” She said nervously, unsure of her mother’s reaction
“Okay..Come back safe..” Xu Mama dismissed
“We’ll hang out sometime, Bo Mu..” Alan said politely
The woman nodded timidly, feeling a little bit of guilt in her heart

Orange Cafe
“I heard about the sleeping pills incident..” Dee tried opening the topic
“I’m feeling better now..” Vic assured
“Zai, You might hate me after I say this..” Her stare directed straight through his eyes
The atmosphere was so serious, he thought it was some sort of a prank or bullet camera. It was his first time seeing Dee without the bubbly personality she usually shows and for a moment there he was sure he felt curiosity with a
hint of fright.
“Just say it..”
“Here it goes..” Dee tried to look as logical as possible, hoping she’ll be able to go out of the cafeteria without having to experience his wrath, or worse, some sort of beating.
“My sister never told me the real reason why you broke up..She even told me that it was when you were at the happiest moment of your relationship that you chose to separate..”
The content of Dee’s explanation seemed to portray ambiguity, he thought to himself
“And being the nosy sister, I wanted to know if you still have feelings for her, so I asked Alan to help me...”
“So..Are you saying that Alan Luo courting Barbie is just...a show?..” He shot her a skeptical look
“At the beginning, Yes, it was part of the plan...” She said nervously
“But eventually he fell in love with her and chose to continue this ridiculous act...Am I right?..” He concluded while smirking
“Unfortunately, Yes..”
He couldn’t believe it himself that she resorted to use this absurd kind of tactic. The plan made things difficult for Barbie and he hated it when things are hard for her.
“You should’ve just asked me..I won’t lie about it in the first place..I never stopped loving her..” He said with all honesty
“Really?..You’re not angry?..I mean..Isn’t it that you’re supposed to be furious because I played around with your feelings?..” Dee thought his reaction was just nonsensical
“It was out of her own will that Barbie chose to give Alan a chance..Even though it all started as a joke on Alan’s part..I can see that he too, is sincere about his feelings for her..”
“I’m planning to tell the truth to my sister..” Dee tried to pacify her mistake
“You don’t need to..Not now..If Barbie still loves me, I want her to break up with Alan out of her own will too..”
“Zai..I’m sorry..”
“Don’t be..At least I want to give her the chance to make up her mind..If it’s Alan or me..”
“You’ve matured, Zai...Jia You!..” Dee encouraged
“I might regret this later on, but I have to give her freedom, right?..” ZaiZai thought to himself
