Theme # 13 – Cherished Treasure
I slowly opened my eyes when I heard the alarm clock beeping. The light green color glowed: 7:00 am. I rolled onto my side and reached out to switch the alarm clock off before lying back down.
“Joongie ah…” A soft mumbled came from the person next to me.
“Yunnie?” I turned my body and faced him. Hmmm, he was probably having a dream. I blushed, wondering what kind of a dream he was having…
I propped myself up and watched an adorable sleeping Yunho. I giggled at how his hair was all messy, sticking out in each different direction. ‘Ah…so cute…’ I thought and touched his cheek. Yunho had always looked so cute [not to mention when he does his little pouts] but when he’s asleep, he looks like a sweet little child.
I couldn’t help but travel my eyes down to Yunho’s lips. With my fingertips, I gently touched his soft rosy lips. They were always so soft… like rose petals and so sweet. I leaned down and brushed my lips over his and then pulled back. He must’ve felt it, because he stirred a little before finally opening his eyes. He looked up at me, his eyes full of amusement. Then he wrapped his arms around my neck and pulled me down. I gave out a small squeak.
“You also check me out when I’m asleep too eh?” He whispered huskily.
I blushed and playfully slapped his shoulder. “It is not called checking out…”
“Then what do you call it?”
I was silence for the moment. “It’s well… called…‘watching’.”
“Same thing.” He flipped us over. He closed his eyes and leaned for a kiss. I stopped him by placing my fingers against his lips. Yunho opened his eyes and looked down at me.
“Later honey, I need to go clean out our closet in the hallway.” When he didn’t move, I tried pushing him off of me, but…it didn’t work. The guy was like made out of stone! Or maybe…I was just too bony and weak. XD
I rolled my eyes and stared up at him. I rose up to lick his bottom lip. “There,” I said as I lay back down onto the mattress.
“I want more,” he whined cutely.
“Later, honey.”
He finally gave out a sigh in defeat and moved. I kissed his forehead and got up from the bed. “Go back to sleep Yunnie, I know you’re still exhausted from dance practice yesterday.”
“But, what about you? You only had 5 hours of sleep.”
“I’m fine-”
“You better, ‘cause if you either get sick or faint on me I’m not going to forgive you for lying. And well… myself too…” He looked away. I smiled. He was always so caring and always so protected of me… Ah I just love him! XD
I ran a hand through his hair. “I’ll be fine, don’t worry. Now go back to sleep.” I said as I helped pulled up the covers to his chin. “Call me if you need anything.” And with that I left for the bathroom.
After a few minutes, I came out from the bathroom and walked to the closet. I opened it and I just blinked. It was… neat and clean, but I remembered that the last time I checked… it was… o_O. Oh well…
I was about to close the door when a pink glittery box caught my attention. Hmm, strange I don’t remember seeing the pink box last time when I opened this closet. I stood on my tiptoes and grabbed the box. I blew off the dust as I walked to the living room and sat down on one of the couches. Curious on what was inside, I took the top off.
I gasped as I saw what was inside. It was my stuffed rabbit (AN: I don’t like bears…I like bunnies and rabbits. XD) that Yunho had given me on the day he asked me out.
-Flash Back-
-2 Years ago-
*Author’s POV*
Yunho made a fist. “That JERK better take his paws off of MY JaeJoong.”
“Yunho ah… please settled down. JaeJoong and Se7en are just friends nothing more.” Yoochun silently prayed and hoped that that’d shut his hyung up or else they’ll be dead if someone heard them.
“Friends… blah. Look at them. The way they’re laughing and talking?!”
“Aiish, Yunho hyung! Just be quiet.” Junsu hissed and rubbed his temples. ‘Damn couples these days… Thanks to them, I haven’t had my beauty sleep in weeks!’
The leader harrumphed and crossed his arms over his chest. “Whatever,” he muttered and turned back his attention to the pretty boy.
Se7en leaning in close to JaeJoong’s ear making JaeJoong blushed and Yunho clenching his teeth. JaeJoong giggled and gave Se7en a quick peck on the cheek.
“AH! That’s it!” Yunho was about to stomp his way towards the couple that was in front of him, when pairs of arms pulled him back.
“Aiish! Hyung, you should learn how to control your temper.” Changmin whispered angrily.
“Forget it,” Yunho pulled away from them and gave JaeJoong and Se7en one last look, before turning around and walked away. …
“DON’T TALK TO ME!”
All four boys winced and plugged their ears.
“Yunho ah, what’s bother-”
The leader turned to face the pretty boy. “I said ‘do not talk to me’.” He then turned back around and walked ahead again.
“Don’t bother him, he’s just not in the mood. He’ll be back to his regular self later.” Changmin whispered to JaeJoong.
JaeJoong gave Changmin a small smile and nodded. But then he couldn’t help but wonder did he do something to make Yunho so mad? …
“You guys can eat without me.”
“But- Yunho ah-” JaeJoong started but was interrupted by the leader again.
“I just want some time alone.” Yunho muttered and walked out of the door.
He sighed and decided to walk to the gardens. He kicked a rock and watched as it rolled away from him. “As a leader, I’m acting like a little kid.” Yunho cursed himself. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small stuffed purple rabbit. (AN: o_O I didn’t know what color to choose.) On its stomach, was “I ♥ You” and if you pressed the ♥ a small recording message would be heard.
Yunho pressed it. A small sad smile came across his face when he heard his own voice. “‘Joongie ah…I hope you like the rabbit. *Chuckles* I’m not sure if the color purple was your favorite, but somehow something told me to choose this. Anyways, well…I should get to the main point should I? JaeJoong ah…I’ve always wanted to tell you this, but something kept holding me back. What I’m trying to say is… I love you. I know I’m not perfect and all like the others and that I’m a jerk to you once in a while…but deep down I do love you. I really do. So much that it hurts to see you smiling to someone else. If you like someone else that’s okay… I can wait. To hear you say you love me and really mean it… I would wait forever.’”
Yunho closed his eyes. His heart ached, for he knew he’d say no.
“I love you too.”
Yunho’s eyes snapped opened and his heart pounded. ‘I’m… I’m just hearing things…’ He thought. But slowly, he turned around to meet a certain angelic face.
“JaeJoong?” ‘I’m dreaming. Yes definitely dreaming.’
“I decided to come find you.” JaeJoong giggled and moved closer to Yunho until he was only a foot away. “Did you mean what you said?”
The leader swallowed and nodded. “Everything.”
JaeJoong smiled and surprised Yunho by wrapping his arms tightly around his neck. “I’ve been waiting for you to ask me out…”
Yunho pulled back. “Huh? You mean-”
“Hehe, of course. We all knew you liked me. But, well… as time passed I was beginning to think you didn’t like me anymore.”
“Uh huh… care to explain what you and Se7en were doing at the studio?”
“Oh, so that’s why you were ticked off…” JaeJoong nodded to himself, understanding the leader now.
“Well, duh! I mean, the way you two were well… talking and stuff!”
JaeJoong laughed.
“It is not funny!” Yunho pouted.
The pretty boy laughed harder, making Yunho giving out a whining sound.
“Anyways,” Yunho changed the subject. “Here’s your present.” He handed the stuffed animal to JaeJoong.
JaeJoong took it and squealed. “Aw! It’s so cute! Thank you!” He jumped up and gave Yunho a kiss on the cheek.

-Present-
*Back to JJ’s POV =]*
I laughed at the memory. Yoochun, Changmin, and Junsu later came out looking for us and were surprised to see us… erm- kiss.
I turned my head when I heard light footsteps. “What are you laughing at?” A voice came from behind.
I giggled. “Something…”
Yunho plopped onto the couch next to me. His eyes widened when he saw the rabbit. “Hey, it’s your stuffed rabbit I gave you two years ago. It looks as if I just bought it.”
“Yup,” I sighed. “It was so sweet. I even named her too.”
“You did? What’s her name?”
“Usa-chan,”
He chuckled. “You weirdo.” He wrapped his arms tightly around my waist and he nuzzled his chin at the crook of my neck. A soft moan came from my throat when he licked my earlobe. “Hmmm… I thought you threw that thing away a long time ago.”
I made a *tsk* sound and looked at him. “Now why would I do that?”
He shrugged and I rested my head on top of his. Our fingers entwined together and after minutes have passed, I whispered, “You know…”
“Hm?”
“I broke down crying when I couldn’t find this rabbit.” And it was the truth. 6 months ago, when I was cleaning out again, I looked everywhere for it and found nothing. I was crying for days. Of course, no one knew about this except for little Minnie. =]
“EH?” Yunho moved his head to look at me. “Why?”
“Because, it’s from you.” I smiled. “And because it was from you, I’ll always cherished this stuffed rabbit…” When I finished I hugged Usa-chan close to my chest. To others this might only be a stuff purple rabbit with a recording machine inside of it. But to me, it was a treasure where Yunho had stated his love for me. Of course I’ll cherish this treasure. Forever…

Wow… I think this is my second longest drabble [Longest 7 Pages -__-]. XD I’m sorry for writing such short drabbles. Anyways, -___- I reread theme 12 and I was so disappointed in myself. I’ll have to clean that theme up when I come back. XD I’d like to thanks those who commented:
