Theme # 15 – Such a Boy
“Ah… nothing in life is better than playing a good game of basketball.”
Yunho wiped his face with his towel when a soft sweet voice made him stop in his tracks. He slowly turned his head and walked closer to the bedroom where the melody was coming from. ‘Sounds like JaeJoong…’
He opened the door and peeked.
“//I keep thinking of him, every night I can see.
When he’s smiling so bright, I know it’s just for me.
All friends tell me this. I should say how I feel.
That he’s perfect for me and this love is for real.//”
JaeJoong bolted up in bed and took off his ear phones when he heard a loud slam.
Yunho cleared his throat. “Sorry about that. Mind if I come in?”
The pretty boy shook his head. JaeJoong closed his eyes and lie back on the mattress again. He mouthed some words:
“//This picture in my mind, of him and I combined
In my dreams he’ll always remain.//”
“What are you singing?” Yunho asked. He made his way towards JaeJoong and sat at the foot of JaeJoong’s bed.
“A song,”
Yunho rolled his eyes. “I know that. But what’s the title?”
“I’m Such a Girl,” JaeJoong replied and continued where he had left off.
“//I’m such a girl and I live in my world with this guy
that I imagine will one day be mine and I know.
I’m such a girl and I hope he’ll
Come around and convey how he feels
and I’m wishing someday that he’ll see.
I’m such a girl…//”
“Why would you sing that? I mean it’s nice but… you’re not a girl.”
“Of course I’m not a girl, but I can easily be mistaken for being a girl. Anyways-”
“Do you like someone?” Yunho interrupted
JaeJoong slowly opened his eyes and stared up at the ceiling. “Who told you that?”
“Uh-well… erm-” Yunho bit his lower lip. “It was Junsu. Please don’t yell at him. I made him tell me.”
‘I’ll need to remind myself to kick Junsu’s butt later.’ JaeJoong thought. ‘Oh no… Junsu better not have told him that I like… him-’ JaeJoong’s heart pounded and he felt his cheeks beginning to burn.
“Erm…JaeJoong ah, who’s the guy you like?”
JaeJoong gave out a sigh in relief and looked at the younger man in front of him. He shook his head. “I’m sorry Yunnie ah…I can’t well…tell you.”
“Oh…forget it that I had asked,” Yunho noticed that his voice sounded hurt, but he shrugged it off. He cleared his throat and looked away.
The other man too noticed the hurt in Yunho’s voice. It made JaeJoong’s heart twist in discomfort. He placed his hand over Yunho’s hand. “Yunho ah…”
Yunho shook his head and his lips tug to a sad smile. “It’s okay. You don’t have to tell me.”
“You’re not mad at me- are you?”
Yunho chuckled and turned to face JaeJoong. He pinched JaeJoong’s cheek and said, “Of course not. Why would I be mad at my one and only hyung?”
JaeJoong rubbed his cheek. “Right…”
“But…I’d envy the guy who dates you.”
“EH? Why?”
Yunho winked and stick out his tongue. “I’m sorry Joongie ah…I can’t well…tell you.”
JaeJoong pouted. “Aw! You’re mean Yunnie!” He whined and playfully slapped Yunho’s shoulder.
“Hey!” The younger man laughed and moved away.
“Yunnie ah I’ll tell you who that person is when the right time comes.”
Yunho raised a brow. “Promise?” He held out his pinky.
The pretty boy nodded his head. “I promise!” And their pinkies linked.
‘I’m such a boy…’

=/ …Is it just me or are my drabbles getting more boring and retarded each time as I update? And sorry for such a short drabble. My mom is ugh…going to get at my throat. *Sighs* Sorry if this one was confusing and didn’t make any sense. My brain cells are also fried from the heat and from PE. -_- Anyways, enough with the dumb excuses from me. I’d like to thank those who commented:
