Melody spoke up. “If it’s rude to ask, don’t answer, but do you like TOP?”

Mr. Yang looked up and realized that Jane, Melody, and Maknae weren’t there.
“Big Seunghyun. Go get those three please.” He said to TOP, who seemed to worry where Jane was.
“Yes sir.” TOP murmured as he stood up and headed out the door.
He saw Seungri at a corner of a wall, who seemed to be intently listening to someone.
TOP touched Seungri’s shoulder as Ri-Ri almost screamed when he clamped his own mouth shut.
Seungri faced his hyung and quickly put his hand to his lips.
‘Shut up hyung!’ He thought.
TOP obviously understood, and suddenly heard Jane’s voice.
“I loved him ever since 5th grade. It was love at first sight. Well. For me… I don’t really know for sure if he likes me or not…” Jane looked down, oblivious that TOP was listening in.
“Woah woah woah. 5th grade!?” Melody asked.
Jane laughed. “Yeap, Jiyong, me, and Seunghyun used to be best friends.”
Melody giggled. “That’s so awesome!! So don’t you love Jiyong too?”
TOP flinched at the words, “Love Jiyong.”
Jane spoke. “I love him as a friend, nothing more. And it will always stay like that.”
He knew that she was talking about himself when she was saying that she loved him since 5th grade.
A smile splashed over TOP’s face.
“Maknae. Hurry and bring them back.” TOP said as he fake punched the youngest of their boy group.
Seungri looked back and smiled as he nodded.
TOP walked back to the audition hall with a very big smile.
Seungri decided to look like he was looking for them.
“Jane noona? Melodyyy~~” Seungri said as he faked his way forward.
He looked to the right. “Oh hey noona. Hi Melody~.”
Melody shyly said hi and Jane just looked up at him in a weird stare.
Her weird stare vanished as soon as she stood up and saw an ice cream machine.
“ICE CREAM!!” Jane whisper-shouted as she saw the big machine.
Seungri rolled his eyes as Melody giggled.
“UGhh noona, but we have to go back to the audition hall or boss is gonna get mad at me…” Seungri said, plastering a convincing pout on his face.
Melody giggled again which made Seungri smile.
Jane saw the sweet connection between them and decided to buy the ice cream later.
“You sure love ice-cream.” Melody said, linking her arms with Jane.
“I do. TOP oppa used to buy it for me everytime we played outside.” Jane said, smiling at the old memory that still shone bright in her mind.
When they walked into the audition hall, everyone looked up to see the three coming in smiling and laughing.
Caroline stared at Melody who was laughing at a joke her Seung-ri made.
Melody tried to ignore it and she succeeded; Caroline gave her another deathly stare.
Park Bom scoffed at Jane’s image, because Mr. Yang had stated that she was a better singer than she was.
Dara felt a bit jealous of Melody because she had all of Jane’s attention.
Jane and Melody strutted confidently into the audition hall with Seungri next to his noona.
TOP peeked at Jane coming in and saw that she was looking at him.
He smiled as he saw Jane blush and turn her head immediately.
Aww that blush made him love her 10 times more than he had before.
“Ahem. So. All of you are going to go through the same routine Big Bang here went through before their debut. All five of you are going to stay in a hostel and compete against each other to have a permanent spot in the new girl group I am producing.” He stopped and looked at Jane.
“I’m expecting good things from you, Jane.”
Jane bowed immediately. “Thank you sir!”
She smiled which made Mr. Yang smile back at her.
She was such a cute child.
“Sandara, this might be hard for you, but I’ll expect you to work much harder than anyone else in this room.” Mr. Yang declared.
Dara’s palms were sweaty. She developed a small crush on TOP while she was performing.
She peeked at TOP and he seemed to have his eyes on Jane.
Dara sighed deeply. Everything was about Jane…
But that was going to change soon.
“Bom, Caroline, and Melody, you know what I expect.” Mr. Yang said as he continued.
“Now all of you pack your things at home and go to your new hostel!!” Mr. Yang shouted happily as he threw his fist in the air.
Melody giggled and hugged Jane in joy.
She hugged Seungri, who was shocked from her touch. Melody knew her little ‘contract’ with Caroline and immediately pulled away, which made Seungri more shocked than before.
Jane walked over to Dara. “Oh My GODD!! We’re gonna live with each other!!!” She squealed at Dara.
“Uhh… Yah… That’ll be fun…” Dara said with a hint of jealousy as she peeked another look at TOP. And he was STILL looking at Jane.
She sighed as Jane looked confused. “Daraaa what’s wrong? Did something go wrong with Sam?”
Dara looked up. Oh lord. She forgot about Sam, her boyfriend. “Oh nothing. Everything’s fine between us.” Dara made a quick lie. “Uhmm It’s just that I’m so happy and I’m reviewing over my thoughts!!”
Jane wasn’t that dumb. Something was fishy but she ignored it, since it was the first time in a REALLY long time she had met her long lost best friend.
TOP slowly walked over to Jane with a smile to tell her congrats, but a hand stopped him.
“She’s mine, hyung.”
TOP was startled and looked at the speaker.
“Jiyong?” TOP widened his eyes.
“Yah, it’s obviously me. Back off of Jane. She’s mine. She was always mine.” Jiyong said, looking at Jane who looked beautiful.
TOP looked into his eyes. “Look G. You know she was mine since the start of 5th grade. I don’t want to get into a fight with you just because of this. But seriously, you should be the one backing off.”
Jiyong was defeated and shot daggers of hatred out his eyes directed towards his hyung.
Seunghyun left Jiyong in victory, as he finally reached Jane.
“Hey Jane.” TOP said as he hugged Jane from the back.
Jane looked up and giggled. She hugged him back and murmured, “hey~”
She pulled away from his hug, knowing too much affection would attract too much attention.
TOP messed up Jane’s hair. “Congratulations Cutie.”
Jane giggled for the millionth time that day. “I would have never made it if you didn’t say something.”
He smiled. “It was nothing.”
Dara cleared her throat slightly. She caught Jane’s attention.
“Oh! Oppa, this is Dara! Dara, this is TOP.”
Dara blushed as she bowed.
“No need to bow, just say hello.” TOP said as he smiled.
‘This is going to be harder than I thought!!’ Dara thought as she shook hands while her insides died of excitement.
TOP continued his little speech. “If you don’t mind, can I kidnap Jane away from you?”
He had an evil little smile creeping on his face, and Dara nodded faintly.
TOP smirked and picked up Jane wedding style.
“Awwh TOP. People are gonna start looking.” Jane blushed as she was being carried around.
They were laughing with each other until Jane spotted that ice cream machine.
TOP caught her glance and piggybacked her to the machine.
Jane felt his warm back on her cheek. She hadn’t felt this feeling in a very long time.
She hugged him real tight. “Janeee you’re killing me.” TOP said in this fake, raspy tone.
Jane immediately let go. “S-sorry.”
Her head hung, as she knew she was going too far.
Did she love him too much?
TOP smiled and put his arm around her shoulders. “Awwh c’monnn. I was just playing.”
Jane looked up and smiled, as she looked at all the flavors.
“I want---“ She was interrupted by TOP.
“Vanilla with granola bits on the top. Yes, I know.” TOP said as he pushed the button for that ice cream.
She smiled at him, admiring how he knew everything about her.
Jane and TOP were sharing an ice cream cone when Mr. Yang walked by.
She let go of him immediately, causing herself to fall down.
Mr. Yang looked over at Jane, who was hopelessly fallen onto the ground.
He looked at TOP. “C’mon TOP. She’s the girl you love. Hurry up and help her up.”
TOP looked at his boss in surprise. It was almost illegal to love another person while they were still in Big Bang.
Not for another three years…
Mr. Yang whispered something into his ear. “Don’t let her go, TOP. Just don’t make it public.”
TOP nodded as he swiftly brought Jane up to her feet.
Jane awkwardly looked up at the sky as Mr. Yang walked away quickly.
Her eyes began to hurt because of the sun.
“He’s gone now, babo.” TOP said, pinching her nose.
Jane looked at him with a frown.
“What?” TOP looked at her with a smile. “You missed me that much, huh?”
She finally had her TOP back. The one who would be silly to cheer her up. He was considered her knight in shining armor. But instead of sword skills, he had a hell of a skill in rapping. She loved him for who he was and how he treated her.
And he was just downright irresistible.
Jane laughed and sat down on the curbside to finish her ice cream.
TOP sat down with her, as they acted very ‘couple-ish’ when nothing has even been decided.
Time was needed.

Melody was with Seungri the whole time, since he was hanging onto her like a puppy.
She caught Caroline’s death stares for the 4th time that day, so Melody decided to make an excuse.
“Seungri-yah? I’m gonna go to the bathroom.”
“Okay, be back soon.” Seungri said as he looked up at her.
She smiled weakily and stuttered over to the bathroom.
As she turned the corner she saw that Dara girl glaring at TOP and Jane, who were sitting on the curb.
She saw HIM walking towards her.
When she heard those words being whispered into her ears, Melody gasped.

Dara watched the two playing around with each other.
She scoffed and was shocked when a hand touched her shoulder.
She turned.
It was that other guy in the audition hall.
“Let’s split them up.”
Dara smiled and nodded, as she followed him towards his path.

OMFG dude. Like there was so much drama this week. Like major cat fight stuff…
I’m really sorry I haven’t been updating T___T I’m such a bad author…
Like seriously… BUT the good news is that I aced the English finals!!!! YAYYY.
This was a short chapter, but I HOPE and WISH there aren’t any silent readers!!!
