“Unni…” she cried more.
She was still more than a hundred meters away from her and how she wished that she was able enough to run to her.
Her arms were bleeding and she has several cuts all over her body yet she kept crawling.
The ground was stained with her blood and her wounds were crushing on the roughness of it. Yet she didn’t care.
She’ll save her sister no matter what.
No matter what.
But even before she got any closer……
BOOM!
A loud explosion resonated in the air. There was a ball of fire in front of her.
She felt the terrible wave of heat coming towards her which was all from that car.
That car, where her sister was lying.
“UNNI!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“SKY! Sky wake up!”
Sky’s eyes opened and she saw an old lady sitting beside her bed.
It was a dream.
She knew it.
Anio.
It was a nightmare.
For consecutive nights, she’s been dreaming of the same thing over and over again.
She pulled her pillow and planted her face onto it.
She cried and cried while the old woman beside her comforted her by rubbing her back.
“Hush now. Why are you having such nightmares every night?” the old lady asked.
“I… I don’t know.” She said as she dried her tears.
“I’ll get you a glass of water first.” Said the old lady who quickly rushed to the kitchen to get what she said.
“Unni… Mianhe… Maybe your soul isn’t in peace till now. I promise to avenge your death. They will pay for this. I swear, they’ll pay for what they’ve done to us.”
She then stood up and took the towel that was hanged on the corner of her room.
“Yah… Are you ok now?” The old lady said as she caught her taking her clothes off.
“I’m fine. I just need to take a bath.”
“This early? It’s still 4 in the morning.”
“I can’t waste any more time, auntie. I have to do what I ought to do.”
