“What’s wrong?” Michi asked as she let Haneul take a seat.
“About Dad.”
“What about him?”
Haneul took a deep breath before talking. Keeping the problem herself isn’t right. Although her father told her not to tell Michi, but she couldn’t keep it to herself.
Michi cried so hard after hearing her sister. She couldn’t believe how serious her father’s condition is.
“What are we going to do? We should have him get surgery or whatever it takes just to make him well!” Michi said almost shaking.
“Unni… he doesn’t want any surgeries.”
“But why? We can’t just sit here and do nothing.”
“That’s why he doesn’t want to tell you soon because he knew you would act like this.” Haneul comforted her sister.
“What would he expect me to be? I’m not gonna just sit here. I’m gonna do something.”
Michi stood up and tried to get out of the room when Haneul quickly held her arm to stop her.
“Unni. Calm down. I called his doctor already. Let’s just wait for him. You can ask him about dad’s condition.”
Michi sighed and went back inside the room.
In less than a minute, someone knocked the door.
Haneul opened it and saw Mrs. Choi, their Head Housemaid.
“Miss Haneul, someone arrived and he said he’s your father’s doctor. Should I let him in?” The old lady asked.
“Yes, please Mrs. Choi.”
Mrs. Choi then left and the sisters went after her.

Junsu saw Jaejoong walking back to the house together with another man.
He then approached him.
“Mr. Kim.” He called Jaejoong. He doesn’t want to address Jaejoong as hyung when other people are around.
“Junsu.”
Yoochun smiled knowing who just approached them.
“Junsu, this is Yoochun.”
“Nice meeting you dongsaeng.” Yoochun smiled as he offered his hand to Junsu.
“Do...dongsaeng? Mr. Kim, what does he mean?” Junsu wondered.
“Junsu… he’s your hyung.”

“Yunho. I’m happy you came.” Haneul went to the doctor.
“I’m happy to see you again Haneul.” The doctor answered.
“By the way, this is my sister Michi. Unni, this is Dr. Yunho Jung, Dad’s cardiologist.”
The two shook hands and greeted each other.
“Mr. Jung, please see my father right now. I think he’s really not fine.” Haneul asked Yunho.
“Let me take you to his room.” Michi said guiding the doctor upstairs. Haneul on the other hand followed them.
At the room, Yunho examined Mr., Han. He even brought some handy machines that would help him assess the patient’s condition. Mr. Han was cooperative enough to be examined. And after few minutes, he then talked to the sisters.
Yunho told the sisters that Mr. Han is not in a good condition. He must be taken to the hospital for he might have another attack. They opened this up to Mr. Han but he doesn’t want to. Leaving the sisters with their father, Yunho left the room and went downstairs for a cup of coffee.
“Dad, please, let us take you to the hospital.” Michi begged her father. She’s almost crying but she tried to hide it so her father must not worry.
“Michi, I’m fine. I really don’t need to got there.”
“But dad…”
“Michi….”
“Dad… please. For us, I don’t want to just sit here and watch you in pain. Please dad,”
Haneul was sitting beside Mr. Han and holding her father’s hand, with eyes, begging him to agree with them.
Mr. Han is sat on the edge of the bed without saying a word.
“Dad, please?” Michi again asked.
“You know why I don’t want to go?” Mr. Han spoke softly.
This made Michi and Haneul come closer to their father to listen to him.
“Because I miss your mom. I wanted to see her.”
“Dad! Don’t say that!” Haneul almost screamed but she stopped herself. It would only do no good.
“It’s true. I miss her so much. I wanna be with her.”
“Dad, we’re still here. We need you still. Please don’t say those words.” Michi cried.
Mr, Han faced Michi and held her hand.
“Michi, I know you love Jaejoong. And I could see he loves you too. He’ll take care of you when I’m gone.”
Then he turned to face Haneul.
“Haneul, I know you’ll meet a good man soon. I’ll make sure of that. He will love you like I did, so you won’t miss me so much.”
“Dad! Why are you saying these words?” Haneul hugged her father.
Mr. Han just smiled at the two.
“Can you get Dr. Jung for me? I have something to tell him.”

Yunho was served with a hot coffee by Mrs. Choi,
“Thank you Ma’am.”
Yunho brought the coffee out of the house and walked to the veranda. He was about to sit down the bench when he heard voices on near him.
He doesn’t wanna entertain what he heard but when he heard Mr. Han being mentioned he couldn’t help but to listen. He hid behind the wall and saw three men talking. He hasn’t seen them yet but he knew they could be workers in the hacienda.
“Hyung, why don’t we just ask this certain amount from Mr. Han instead of taking the whole hacienda?” one man said.
“I’m thinking about that too. But it won’t be enough. The reason why Mr. Han hired me is that to help the hacienda bankruptcy. He couldn’t give that big amount to us at the moment.”
“Yeah, I felt that too. The trading went down these months. So how long will the hacienda recover?”
“A year or more. That’s how I see it.”
“So what are your plans now? I could see no other option but to get the hacienda from them. And you should do it sooner.” The other man said.
Hearing it, Yunho felt nervous.
He doesn’t know who these men are, but he’s sure they are planning something not good for Mr. Han and the hacienda.
He knew Mr. Han for years now. And all he saw from the old man was kindness. He didn’t know some people are willing to do something this bad.
What will Michi and Haneul do if these things will happen? With Mr. Han sick at the moment, he knew he’s incapable of protecting them.
Haneul….
He felt a bit of pain when he thought of her getting hurt.
It was a new feeling he never felt before.
Yunho brushed those thoughts away. Haneul is like a little sister to him.
He kept thinking about what he heard when someone grabbed his arms.
“Yunho.”
He was so surprised that the coffee spilled on the table.
“Mianhe.”
“Ha.. Haneul!” he gasped.
“I called you so many times but you aren’t listening.”
“I’m sorry, I’m thinking about something.” He then looked at Haneul who was staring at her. He felt his heart beat faster. He couldn’t think straight. He felt like he’s melting under her eyes.
“Hey…” Haneul called her again.
“Yeah… what is it?” he tried so hard to concentrate.
“Dad’s looking for you.”
The first time she saw Haneul at the clinic, he found her so beautiful. With her tan skin, her eyes, and pretty face, it would be a lie if he would say he isn’t attracted to her.
“I see…”
“C’mon.” Haneul said as he held Yunho’s arms and pulled him inside the house.
Yunho felt weird as Haneul held his arm.
He tried so hard to ignore it but he couldn’t.
He felt like walking to the door so slow. With Haneul on his side holding him, he felt like the time stopped.
‘Damn, what is this I’m feeling?’ he asked himself as they finally reached the door of Mr. Han’s room.
