It’s been three years since I took her under my care. I never thought I could even hold her hand back then. But it happened. I shouldn’t be happy for what happened, but I couldn’t stop myself. That night was the start of the happiest days of my life.
That night I saved her from the car crash she and her sister went into. I was following their car once I heard from my father that he’s plotting something for the sisters. And I was not wrong. He was responsible for the accident. He did something with the breaks of the car that made it loose its control. And when I saw Michi with her head bleeding badly, I took her immediately. After I placed her inside my car, I was supposed to get her sister too. But then I saw that doctor. He was running towards the car. I decided to stay back. I know he’ll save her. All I have to do was to save Michi. But just I started the engine of my car, I heard a large explosion. I looked behind. Their car was burning.
It stunned me for awhile but as I looked at Michi who is lying unconscious on the back seat, I didn’t thought twice. I sped off to the nearest hospital. I have to save her. Something in me tells me that I will regret if something happens to Michi.
The next day, I heard from Jaejoong a very sad news.
Michi and Haneul died.
It was after three days when Michi woke up.
“Thank God you’re awake.” I gasped as I saw haw opened her eyes.
I couldn’t even get close to her. I know she hates me, just like my brother.
She stared at me for a long time. Her eyes are blank.
“How are you feeling?” I asked her again.
She is looking at me with her eyebrows crossed.
“Who are you?” she asked me.
I started to worry.
‘Why is she acting like this?’
“I’m Yoochun….”
Still I can see from her eyes that she couldn’t recognize me.
“Are you alright? Wait I’m gonna call the nurse.”
But just before I could turn around to call the nurse, she held my hand/
“Wait… Where am I?.... Who am I?”
I talked to her doctor. He told me that she is suffering from amnesia. It was due to the trauma she received from the accident. He is not sure if it’s temporary or not.
I went back to see Michi.
“Hey. Are you ok now?” I asked her. I tried so hard to smile in front of her.
My heart is breaking seeing her condition. She isn’t well. Her face and body have abrasions everywhere.
She nodded as a response. She then gazed at me.
I know how she felt. I was the only one who was there for her. Technically, I am the only one she has at the moment.
“Yo…Yoochun….” She called me.
I sat beside her. Looking at her, I felt crying. I don’t know why I feel so vulnerable beside her. I thought I was tough. My adoptive father taught me how to become hard on people. But now, Michi made me forget everything. She made me feel different things. With that I wanted her to stay with me.
I think… I’m falling for her.
“What is it?” I asked her.
“Why can’t I remember you? You are someone close to me right? Who are you in my life? And also, my name… I can’t remember it. Who am I?”
She sounded like crying. I know she’s suffering because of her memory loss.
I wanted to comfort her. I’m not leaving her. I’ll make her mine.
I took a deep breath before speaking.
“You… you are Ice. And I… I am you boyfriend.

Yoochun is caressing Michi’s face. The dawn just broke and Yoochun couldn’t go back to sleep. Michi is sleeping beside him. Her angelic face made him want to kiss her again. He lowered his face to her and gave her a peck on the lips.
It’s been three years. And Michi still couldn’t remember anything. He felt thankful for this but then he couldn’t deny the fear he’s feeling everyday.
What if Michi will wake up one day remembering who she really is?
It will end everything.
“Oppa?” Michi called him as she finally woke up.
“Hey… Did you have a good sleep?”
“Yes.”
“Good.”
Michi then sneaked inside Yoochun’s arms and held him tighter.
Yoochun embraced her as a response.
He felt so happy just touching Michi’s skin and holding her in his arms.
“Oppa…” Michi called him again.
“Hmm?”
“Why are you so silent?”
“Nothing.”
“What are you thinking?”
“I’m thinking about you.”
Michi then pushed him a bit to see his face.
She smiled at him.
“What are you thinking about me?”
“I’m thinking how a lovely angel like you came to me. I’m not worthy.”
Michi smiled again.
“You are the nicest person I ever knew. I am more thankful for coming into your life.”
Yoochun looked at her with so much love.
“Michi-ah…”
“Hmmm?”
“Saranghae.”
Michi smiled again and pulled his face using her fingers.
She kissed him.
Yoochun loved her lips against his and so he deepened their kiss.
‘Mianhe Michi. I love you so much that telling you the truth will surely take you away from me. I’m scared. I’m scared that you’ll leave me.’

Jaejoong spotted Junsu at the veranda. Junsu is staring at Sky who was trimming some of the plants on the front of the house.
Junsu didn’t notice Jaejoong coming so Jaejoong coughed a bit so to make his presence known to his younger brother.
Junsu was startled and looked behind him.
“Hyung.”
“What are you looking at?”
“The whole hacienda…. I .. I can’t believe that we are earning almost 3 times the way it was earning before.”
He’s lying of course. He wasn’t thinking about the hacienda.
Jaejoong patted his back.
“I know. She looks like her. But don’t fool your heart.”
Junsu sighed. Jaejoong knew him so much.
“No hyung. This is too clear to be a lie. She’s hiding something from me. And I will find that out.”
“Junsu. I’m just worried about you.”
“Don’t be hyung. If I prove things right, I will be the happiest man.”
“Junsu….”
“I better get going. I have so many things to do.”
There’s something in Junsu’s smile that Jaejoong felt a bit uneasy.
“Good Luck Dongsaeng.”
