Three Years Ago
“Haneul!”
A 20 year old lady called as she stepped into a beautiful flower garden.
“Michi Unni. What is it?” A younger lady who were holding stalks of flowers in her hand answered.
“Dad is here already! Come on!” the lady which Haneul called unni said.
“Really? Omo! Omo!” She said as she quickly jumped off her feet towards her sister Michi.
“Did he just arrive?”
“Yeah! So we better get back home.”
Michi then let lose the rope she tied on the small tree and held her horse.
Around the hacienda, they use horses to go to places instead of using cars.
By this, they won’t cause pollution.
“Come on.” Michi called Haneul as she rode at the back of her horse.
Haneul on the other hand went behind her sister and held onto her waist.
Michi then commanded the horse to go forward.
They are actually good in horseback riding for they grew on the hacienda together.
Michi, though have studied abroad, still haven’t forgot what it’s like to live in the hacienda. She was a graduate of BS in Biology and now taking courses in business management. She wanted to help their father in running the business. Though she grew helping her father on the hacienda, she wanted to learn more.
She was an intelligent lady and thinks first before doing anything.
She was known to be tough and had inherited her father’s tough personality.
But behind her tough attitude, Michi has a beauty that every man adores.
She has a beautiful body and knows how to wears appropriate clothes for her.
Men from his father’s circle of business partners, especially the young ones, always show affection to her but she didn’t pay attention to them.
She has fallen in love once and she learned that it was just a mistake.
She always thinks about their business first.
Being in a relationship is just a sore in the thumb.
Haneul on the other hand, was a sweet young lady.
She is a beauty also, but unlike her sister Michi, she doesn’t know how to use it.
She stays under the sun taking care of her garden and the other animals on the hacienda.
She is studying agriculture so to make herself more equipped in working.
Unlike her sister, Haneul is a silent young lady and only spends her time around the hacienda. She was always compared to her sister, sometimes she felt insecure for she thinks that her sister is always prettier than her. But this never ruined their relationship.
They stayed close and open with each other’s feelings.
After few minutes, they reached the house and went in.
“Dad!” the two ladies happily embraced their father.
“Yah, where have you been?
Wait! I know! You we’re on the garden again Haneul?”
Michi laughed as their father knew well everything.
“Yes Dad, and you knew because I looked so sweaty already?” Haneul pouted.
Their father laughed as well hearing this remark from her.
“Yes… and I told you to lessen your stay under the sun. I couldn’t recognize you anymore.”
Haneul pouted her lips more hearing this. She stomped her feet walking to the sofa and sat there.
“I’m just kidding my little angel.” Their father said as he walked after her and sat beside her.
Only then Michi noticed another man inside the living room.
She laid her eyes on him and noticed that he looks familiar.
“Ow.. before I forgot. Guys, I want you to meet Kim Jaejoong. He will be working here as a business partner. He is a lawyer too. So it means he’s a big help in our business.”
‘Kim Jaejoong…. Bingo!’ Michi thought.
Michi then extended her hand to the man.
“Nice to see you again Mr. Kim. I never thought you and my father are business partners.” She smirked at him.
Jaejoong gladly accepted her hand and smiled back.
“Nice meeting you again too, Ms. Han.”
The old man looked at the two of them in surprise.
“You two knew each other?” Haneul asked.
“Yes sis, he’s a classmate in a subject in college before.” She answered sarcastically.
Jaejoong just nodded in response.
“Well then, this wouldn’t be hard for the two of you.
Michi, I want you to teach him everything about the hacienda.
How we run the business and so on. He needs to learn so many things.”
Her father demanded.
“What? Uh…. I mean sure Dad.” She then looked behind her where Jaejoong is standing.
He was smirking at her and she doesn’t like it.
“Ok then, come on all of you. I’m hungry. Let’s eat something.” The old man said.
Michi purposely stayed behind everyone so she got to talk with Jaejoong.
“What are you doing here?” She asked him.
“Working, I guess?”
“Why my father? You knew he was my father.”
“Wait. This isn’t about what happened 2 years ago right?”
Michi’s eyes widened. This just reminded of something.
“Shut up! This has nothing to do with that!”
“Then what are you mad about?”
She was silence by then.
Her blood boils in the sight of him.
“I look forward working with you Michi.”
Jaejoong spoke and then smiled at her sweetly.
Michi’s heart stopped beating as she saw him smile again at her.
“Damnit!” she just cursed.
