Andy and Julie continued with more files throughout the whole day. They were able to get a lot of information but none related to the machines that lurked underneath the building. Julie was especially quiet when it was time to leave. Andy instantly noticed “Something wrong?”
She put up her finger to her lips, reminding him of the homing device that was tapped on her hair. “Nothing. I’m not feeling too good.”
He nodded “Do you need a ride home?”
Julie smiled “That would be nice.” One her way down she caught Cass and Will talking. She quickly shook her head indicating for them not to talk to her. Will understood after working with her for so long. His eyes wandered over to the well distinguished looking man and his four bodyguards behind looking intimidating.
Cass looked strangely at the group “Uh…Will and I were talking about dinner…we wanted to try this new sushi place…” she let her words fade when Andy put up his hand.
“Julie is not feeling too good, I’m taking her home. Why don’t you two go out to dinner?” he offered. Without waiting for them to decline, he led Julie out of the building.
Will’s eyes followed them and it soon settled on Julie’s head, something was flashing in her hair. He was trained for finding devices but this one was so subtle that he had to stare for a long time to notice it. He turned to Cass apologetically “I guess we should go home and see how Julie’s doing.”
Cass nodded her head in confusion as she followed Will to his car. When they reached the house, they saw Andy’s men looking around the place as if it was dangerous. “Hey, what are you guys doing?!” Cass objected.
The men pulled out a rounded gun as they aimed at her threateningly. Will quickly interfered between the deadly weapons and the scared Cass. “Look, she didn’t mean any harm.” He said firmly.
Andy waved his hands at his men as the retrieved their weapons “They are just protecting me.” He smiled kindly at the two. “So you are William, what a lucky man you are.” He turned to look at Julie.
Will felt Julie’s eyes were trying to tell him something. “Can I have a word with my wife, please?”
Andy nodded “Of course.”
Julie followed Will into their room, he opened his mouth to say something but she quickly covered it as she said quickly “He’s just my new boss, he means no harm.” She pointed to the back of her head.
He quickly lifted her hair to find a device so delicately placed that it feared him to try to remove it “Are you sure, he seems interested in you.”
Julie stood still while Will worked to get the device safely off of her “No, he’s could be my dad. Don’t worry, he might look dangerous but he’s got a soft heart.”
Will used his tools located in his belt as he pulled out a tiny needle like tool. With a press of the end, the needle stretched out longer and it began to spin. Cautiously, he began to saw away the edges of the round device. “Don’t trust people so easily.” He warned. They used their dialogue as an act to divert Leo’s attention. Within minutes the device fell from her hair as Will was quick to catch it in the palm of his hand, who knew what would happen if it crashed to the floor. Knowing Leo, he would insert a bomb big enough to wipe out a mile of radius around them.
“Honey, I’m not feeling too good, I’m going to sleep now.” That was Will’s cue to leave it on the bedstand. He did so as they tipped toed out of the room, he closed the door loudly on purpose for Leo to hear.
They returned outside to find Andy sitting on one of the couches while the four men were seated on the long couch, Cass sitting between them looking scrutinized. She smiled at the sight of her sister and Will, she practically jumped from her seat “You’re back!”
The four men stood up the minute Cass got up making her hide behind her sister and Will. “She’s harmless.” Julie insisted to Andy.
He only nodded “I would like a word with Julie and Mr. William.” He announced to his men. They nodded in response never speaking unless they were asked to. Cass looked nervously at her sister.
Julie smiled soothingly at her sister “Ga Jei, we’ll be gone for a bit. You’ll be okay at home right?” she nodded slowly but looked up nervously at the big men “Don’t worry, the men will be going with us.”
Cass sighed happily “Thank God.” Her smile disappeared when the four heads turned her way “No offense.” She said quickly.

The three chose a noisy bar to talk. Julie felt it was time to tell Will who Andy really was. Andy disapproved but he respected her choice. Will looked at the two, who had a casual closeness that didn’t seem right. “So who are you?” he asked.
Andy smiled as he turned to Julie “You tell him.”
She told him the whole story and about the fact that he was the third person with them when they first found the machines. Will took it harder than Julie imagined. He sat back sighing for it was hard to digest “You’re trying to tell me that the agency that I have dedicated my life to is just a killing corp?”
Andy shook his head “I did not say that. All I’m saying is that they will kill off anyone that is not in their best interest. You do not benefit anything from working for them. I suggest we go into a different field.”
This was the first time Julie had heard his suggestion “What field?”
“The Special Spy Unit.” He smiled when the two exchanged glances “You two heard of it I presume?”
Will shook his head “I didn’t know it existed. It was a rumor that traveled around the FBI but no one has ever seen the place or met any ‘spy’.”
Julie tilted her head “You work for them?” Andy nodded with a smile. That explained why he was able to have all the high tech equipment, some that she’s never seen herself. “Why are you telling us?”
Andy laughed “I thought it would be obvious.” He looked at her directly in the eye “I like you.” She turned away shyly while he continued “I trust when you say that Will is a great agent. With our combined help, we can find out how to stop these machines. But it will only work if you both trust me.”
Julie looked up and nodded firmly “I do.” She turned to Will who has been quiet most of the time there “Will?” she asked. “I know you don’t like to lie or feel that you are betraying the service. But think about it, when your father died, what prestigious thing did they do for him? Nothing.” She said bluntly.
Will traced his mind for the time he found out his father had died on the job to the time he joined the services. Julie was right, they did nothing to bring out his name, in honor of his 10 years of hard work. He rubbed his eyes in frustration, finally realizing something he did not want to believe existed. “I don’t know.” He said finally. Will could not fight with his own conscience.
Julie leaned in “You agreed to lose your life if your job duty is so dangerous, but how do you want to die? Sacrificing yourself or being killed by your very own people that you trusted? Our job was to find out a way to stop these machines because our fellow agents have risks their lives trying to find the secret behind those glass walls. If the service finds out that we had any contact with other people, we would already be dead.” She pointed out.
Will snapped his head up as he looked down at his watch “Sergeant Liu.” He whispered.
Julie looked over at Andy “Our boss can hear everything we say.” She said.
“It does not receive in high volume places. That’s why I chose this place.” He smiled sincerely “I would not do anything to harm you two. They trained you well, but for what? To be killed after the secret has been discovered and when the service gets their hand on the material, you think they will still want to keep you?” he chuckled “Don’t be naďve.”
Julie turned to Will “I’m already in knee deep, we just need you now.”
He slowly smiled at the two “You talked me into it.”
The three smiled as they began discussing their plans. After Andy posed as Anthony finds out more information about the machines, they will be able to control them and stop the monster making. The Spy Unit is made from agents or spies that wanted to make a difference and stop the crazy people from controlling the world. It was formed three years before Andy was discharged from the FBI. He was saved and brought into the unit. He grew adapted to it and during his two years there, he had enrolled at least 35 new spies. 37 now if they counted Will and Julie.

The next two months was extra hard work for Julie and Andy. Not only were their actions being watched by cameras built in from the paintings, they were constantly watched from all eyes that entered the room. It was actually by accident that Julie found them. She was looking directly at the glare of the sun and when she moved her eyes away it settled on a peculiar painting that she did not see before. The lens of the camera glared against her eyes as she realized what they were.
She looked up at Andy but he only smiled, indicating that he already knew about it. She shook her head in awe, wondering how he became so educated with his surroundings. They spent most of the days not talking to each other, it was their way of staying away from the eyes that were looking and listening to their every move.
After work, Andy and Julie hung around at the harbor as they talked “We need a better plan to get into those files. He has them locked up in his drawers. There’s no way to get to them.” Julie said as she leaned on the metal bars that stopped her from falling into the waters.
Andy nodded “I know what you mean, but we can’t just walk into that office. It’s like walking into a cat’s trap.”
She nodded “I know what you mean.” Julie let out a tired sigh “This is going to be a fierce battle. If we don’t survive…”
Andy covered her lips “We will survive.” He said with confidence.
“How can you be so sure?” she pushed his hand away and took a few steps back “You know exactly how dangerous those machines are. We have not even got in contact with that monster, for all we know it could be 100 times stronger!” she was feeling the stress of saving mankind. “He could crush us in two seconds and then the world would be doomed-”
To her surprise he leaned in and kissed her straight on the lips, his hand grazing her face while she gave in. He pulled away gently and his eyes opened slowly “Even if the world is doomed, I would still be by your side. I’ve cheated death too many times to believe that my life will end. I won’t let anything happen to you, I promise.”
Julie nodded understanding. He reached out as she leaned on the nape of his neck “For the first time in my life I’m scared.” He slowly rocked her until they decided to go home.
