Leann sat silently in her father’s office that she’s seen numerous times, but that day her outlook changed tremendously. Her father was speaking but her ears would not allow her to listen. Her thoughts floated away as she slowly became frustrated. Tears flowed slowly down her face as the pain of being lied to overcame her like a wave. Then came resentment towards her father. “You are my daughter, I would not do anything to hurt you. But you put my 10 years of hard work in danger…”

She came back to reality when his words sounded threatening “What would you do father?” she gulped back the tears “Kill your own daughter.” The man was silent as if contemplating the idea. “You won’t get away with this. Even if the government don’t take you in, God will.”

“Shut up! He’s your father!” Leo charged at his sister but he was stopped by Hung Fung. The elder man lifted his hand at his son. “Father!”

“She is still your sister, despite the fact that she has been living in her little perfect bubble.” He turned back to Leann “You will stay in this office until you learn to accept the truth. When you are ready to return to reality and continue your job, you are not to step foot out of here. I will have someone bring you clothes and food. This is the only office that has a bedroom and shower.” He pointed to a solid door in the corner.

The group left her alone while she swallowed in her own tears. She walked to the room and found a cozy decorated room. The walls were glass but only the bathroom was solid. She washed her face before climbing on the bed where she fell asleep within minutes from the overwhelming ordeal.

Leann was deep asleep when a sudden sound awakened her. Her eyes popped open and she found Cass hovering over her as she covered Leann’s mouth to keep her from yelling “It’s me, Cass…” she whispered.

Cass sat up “How did you get in here?” she saw Will climbing in from the opened window. “My father will kill you if he finds out!” she whispered urgently.

Cass smiled “This is the only office without a camera. I think he wants you to be saved.”

Leann looked at her strangely “What?” she was more confused than before.

“We’ll explain later, come on.” Will waved for her to come over. She rushed off the bed as he put a belt around her waist that carried a metal square object on one side. He pulled at a string which pulled out a metal coiled string to connect it to another metal squared object which was placed firmly outside the glass window. Cass too was putting hers on. “Hold tight.” He wrapped his arms around the girls as they jumped out the window dropping at 100 mph.

Leann closed her eyes as she gripped onto Will’s arm like she was going to fall to her death. Cass saw Will cringe in pain so she decided to help him. She slowly reached over and loosened Leann’s grip “Relax or Will’s circulation will be cut off.” She spoke soothingly.

Leann opened her eyes and slowly decreased her grip but the moment the string stopped right above the water, she gripped his arm tighter “OW!” Will cried out in pain.

“I’m sorry!” Leann quickly let go of his arm.

He shook his head “It’s okay.” He laughed nervously as he turned to Cass “I thought you said she was weak?” Cass giggled as she untied her belt and she fell straight into the water. Her head bobbed up the water in a few seconds as she waved for Leann to follow. Will helped her with her own belt and she too fell in with a splash. The girls waded their foot as they waited for Will. Together the three swam to shore. They took her to the secret hideout that Andy has been hiding for years.

Leann looked around at the odd looking place “Where is this place?”

Will and Cass exchanged glances, after a minute she decided to answer “I guess there’s no use in hiding it from you. This is a secret passageway that Andy has been using.”

“Why does it look like this…” she pointed to the messy place. Suddenly she looked up with widened eyes “My father?”

Will nodded “He’s a very sneaky man.”

Leann nodded “I had no idea. I’m so sorry.” She said sincerely.

Cass shook her head “Silly girl, you had nothing to do with it. But I do think he has a soft spot for you.”

She frowned at her comment “Because he didn’t kill me or the fact that he planned to lock me up like a prisoner if I didn’t accept his evil ways?” sarcasm dripping off of every word.

Cass smiled “That’s what he wanted the other people to see. But he knew that the office he put you in had no connections with the outside world. It was not being watched by anyone and you would be safe. He’s a smart man, he knew that if we wanted to get to you, that would be our only way. To break into a building might be hard for normal people but for spies or agents, you could say it’s an every day job description.”

“You mean he wanted you guys to come and rescue me?” Leann asked.

Will nodded “You can say that. Maybe he figured that you would be safer with us.”

She let out a sigh “What use does it make? The government will soon find out and he’ll probably sentenced to death for destruction and building machines to take over the world.”

“Would you rather have us go into battle with him and shoot him to death?” Cass asked wisely. Leann turned to her with wide eyes while Cass smiled in return “I didn’t think so.”

Andy, Julie, Gary and David walked until they reached a rural city. Julie noticed that David was silently counting the trees that they passed. When they came upon a forest like environment, he stopped as he turned to them “We’re here.” He smiled as he nodded to Andy “Remember what to do?”

He smiled as he reached around Julie’s waist and gripped her tightly “Hold on tight.”

She tilted her head strangely “Why?”

Gary watched the two love birds as he turned to David and batted his eyes “Hold me, David.” He exaggerated Andy’s grip on Julie as he practically wrapped both arms around David.

Julie leered her eyes evilly at Gary “You need another beating?”

Gary’s face instantly turned solemn as he cleared his throat “Let’s go.”

David shook his head as he pressed a button on his watch and an opening under Julie and Andy’s foot swallowed them into the ground. They fell down a tube going faster than she’s ever imagined. Andy kept his eyes on her trying to calm her nerves. When they reached the ground, she stumbled from the sudden ground below her foot while he held onto her giving her balance again. “You okay?” he asked.

She nodded as she let go of his arm “So this is the Unit?”

“Not quite.” David answered and she turned to see the other two next to Andy. “Come on, The Head would like to see you two.” He waved for them to follow him. The cave like area soon disappeared when they walked through a door.

What Julie saw amazed her to the core, it looked like a white blank piece of paper. There was absolutely nothing in there, despite her imagination tried to concur up a secret agency. They walked on until they came upon 5 simple doors, all still white. “What’s with the doors?” Julie asked openly.

Andy smiled at Julie with adoration “To keep intruders from entering. Two are long mazes that leads to no where and two lead to the trapped chambers of glass. The fifth one is the correct door.” They walked upon the third door and it lead to a long hallway that was lighted with a light blue long bulb that was hung above them. “The trick is that each hour the doors are switched so it is seldom the same door.”

“That was a special feature designed by the Head to keep intruders from knowing which door to come in.” David finished.

Julie nodded “I see. Has any intruder ever got the correct door?”

Gary rolled his eyes “If they did, we would not still be using this system.”

“Hah! You are really asking for it.” She groaned.

He only laughed “You may be wonder woman up on land but this is our world. You won’t be able to lay a hand on-” before he even finished his sentence, she swung her lungs below him and he fell flat on his back with a thumb.

She stood up and placed her arms on her hips as she looked down at him “You were saying?”

David and Andy laughed loudly at the once again defeated Gary “Give up before you get hurt!” David gave his part a hand as he pulled him up with ease. “Damn, that looked painful.” His faced wrinkled in pain as he walked on mocking Gary while holding onto his back.

Gary ignored David “Where’s my bodyguard when I need one?” he mumbled.

“If you give me the job, I’ll take it.” Julie joked.

David nudged his partner “That’s a great idea, that way, she won’t hurt you anymore.”

“She’ll be paid not to hurt you.” Andy chimed in as the three exploded with laughter.

Gary quickened his pace “Ha ha, very funny.”

The four reached another three doors at the end of the hall. David turned to Julie “Can you guess which door is correct?”

She tapped her finger on chin as she began to analyze which door it could be “Two mazes and one correct door?”

David shook his head “Any door will work.” He laughed as he chose the second door and let the group in “A normal agent will analyze after making it through the first door. But what they don’t expect is that each door will take them through since it is not analytically normal to be that easy.”

Julie laughed as she shook her head “Sneaky! But I like it.” She looked around finding the whole place to be in the color white again. Everyone was dressed in a white suit while the furniture and computers were clear. “So this is The Unit.” She sighed.

Andy smiled “It’s different from the last time I was here.”

David nodded as he led the group through the office surroundings “Just a little.” He took them to a triangle shaped object. A triangle frame object hung from the machine. He placed his hand as it molded into the metal exterior. The door of the object opened and allowed the four to enter. It was an elevator leading to the third floor. They came upon another hallway which led to one office. Before they had a chance to announce themselves, the door opened and a middle aged man turned to them with a warm smile.

"Andy, it's been a long time." he turned to Julie with a wider grin "Who's this beautiful lady?" he reached out a hand "Rob Chiu." the man (Kong Wah) nodded.

"Julie Cheung." she smiled in return.

"You always have an eye for beauty." he said to Andy.

Gary snickered at the comment "More like blind..." he mumbled to himself.

Rob raised an eyebrow at one of his top spies "Do I hear anger from your voice?"

David laughed "More like embarrassement that a girl beat him up."

Gary threw an evil glance at his partner "She didn't BEAT me up. I held back because...well, seeing that...she's a girl..and all..." he stuttered away while the group laughed at his despair.

Rob smiled at Julie "It's about time someone put him in his place. He's been walking around with a growing ego." he winked at her playfully "Glad to have you join us. Cass speaks highly of you."

At the mention of her sister, Julie's smile faded "I wonder how Ga Jei is doing."

"She'll be joining you soon." Rob assured. He turned to Gary and David "You guys go pick them up."

David nodded while Gary groaned in disagreement "Again? I just came from Hong Kong!" he knew he had no choice though.
