Erin was the first to come too after fainting. It felt like she had been sleeping for days. Her eyes refused to open but she forced herself to look around. She noticed everyone was just like her, tied to a chair and gagged. Shifting her seat next to Mia, who sat to her left “Mia…Mia…” she tried calling but her voice was hoarse. She felt panicked with her teammates all too were captured “Guys!” She cried helplessly but none responded. Then she realized, she only had one cookie. Whatever was in there, it was strong enough to take them down.

Her eyes wandered the room, it looked like an old temple. She felt a shiver run down her spin when the cold wind seeped through the cracks of the old building. She noticed Jenna still in a towel and shivering against her own body. Who would have the guts to take out all the agents? And know where they were? Her eyes snapped over when she saw Darren shifting his head up. His eyes slowly opened “Where am I?”

“I don’t know. It’s cold and looks like a run down temple.” Erin advised, “Darren, try to wake Mia up.”

Darren nodded as he began hopping with the chair and pushing on Mia’s lifeless head “Mia!” he yelled into her ear but she was completely out “Who the hell did this?”

Erin shook her head “I don’t know. But I have a feeling the culprit will show soon. We have to get free.” She shifted her wrists in a tight position and tried to twist out of it but it was too strong. She had an idea as she began hopping over to Darren “Here, help me get out.” They sat back to back as he tried to untie her without looking.

“Almost…got….got it!” he finished the last knot as she quickly broke free and untied her legs. She helped him out and together they untied their teammates “Mia!” he pushed her face up and slowly she fluttered her eyes open.

“Not now Darren, I’m tired.” She groaned.

“No, we’ve been kidnapped.” Darren whispered, his eyes darting to the others.

“Jenna, Ryan.” Erin hit their faces simultaneously “Wake up!” she hissed.

Ryan opened his eyes first as he looked around “Where are we?” he asked groggily.

Jenna first noticed her naked skin against the towel “Ahh!” she yelped, “I’m naked!”

“SHH!” Erin hissed, “They might hear us. We have to get out of here.”

“It’s cold…” Jenna shivered. Ryan quickly took off his shirt and wrapped it around her shoulders.

“Doug!” Darren shook him but he didn’t wake. His eyes widened "Oh my God, he's poisoned!" he pointed to the white substance crawling from his lips to his chin.

"Its just drool." Mia advised after taking a closer look.

"Poor Jessie." Jenna sighed.

Mia turned to the group "I'll wake him." She knelt down to push Doug onto his own lap. She placed her hand down the back of his shirt.

Doug nearly jumped out of his seat as he glared at her while she giggled, “Your hands are freezing!!”

"And you drool in your sleep!" Mia pointed. He was quick to wipe away the drool but the others had more on their mind than to make fun of him.

Carmen was the last to wake as she opened her eyes at her teammates “What are you guys doing in my room?”

“Honey, it’s a bad dream if we are all in your room. And Jenna’s naked.” Mia snickered with a laugh. Suddenly, it occurred to her “Hey, where’s Matt and Reina?”

“How do you know they were captured too?” Erin questioned.

“They came by to see us last night.” Darren frowned strangely “That’s funny, we saw them faint too.”

“You saw them faint or were they holding their stomachs before you went out?” Erin analyzed.

Mia recalled, “When I went out, I saw the two of them still clutching their stomachs.”

“What are you trying to say, Ga Jei?” Ryan asked.

Erin was frustrated as she realized “We’ve been scammed by our own leaders.” She said flatly “Who would have the power to get us all at once? The only people that know us well and sending those cookies and signing Michael’s name would have to mean someone that knows we all trust Michael without a doubt in mind.”

“Those little bastards!” Mia cursed.

“But why would they get us like this?” Jenna shook her head in confusion.

Carmen snapped her fingers “Do you guys remember about a week ago, the three of them held a meeting? They said something about retraining but everyone ignored them.”

“No, I don't remember. But I remember saying my idea of retraining is kicking Doug in the ass two times.” Mia cracked with a laugh.

“So you’re saying they kidnapped us because we refused to retrain?” Ryan asked.

“Precisely.” Erin nodded. She waved for her teammates to follow her outside. Pushing the door open, they were met with the sun shining directly at their faces. Below was a long flight of stairs and at the bottom sat their leaders sitting in wooden chairs and bundled up in jackets.

The three clapped their hands while laughing. Devin stepped forward “You guys were beginning to worry me. I would expect you to come out sooner.”

“I would if I had my clothes!” Jenna cried angrily as she ran down the steps “It’s probably 40 below 0 right now!” she was heated up.

Reina smiled as she stepped over to a huge box behind them. Taking the bag that marked Jenna, she handed it to the girl “Sorry, Operation Take Out had to go according to plan. We had no time to change you.”

“Wait…where’s Bonnie?!” Mia realized “She was sleeping on the couch.”

“She’s safe asleep in the van.” Devin nodded to the car parked illegally in front of the temple.

Erin crossed her arms sternly “Surely, you could find a better way to get us here than to poison us with cookies and kidnap us to China.”

“CHINA?!” Mia and Jenna said in unison.

Matt laughed “Glad you guys are still paying attention to your surroundings.” He looked up and nodded to the China flag.

“This is just a small lesson for disobeying orders.” Devin placed his hands behind his back “For the next two months, you guys will be in strict training. Wake up call is at sunrise and breakfast is served after a five mile run along the hills. After breakfast you may rest for half an hour and then we’ll begin martial arts training. Lunch is at noon and after lunch is another half an hour of break. Last is the gun and battle training. There will be no entertainment of any kind, you can make one call a day each person.”

“It’s worse than boot camp.” Doug muttered under his breath.

“More like jail.” Mia agreed.

Matt shrugged “We gave you guys a choice in Hong Kong but you didn’t take us seriously. So you forced us to do all this. We wanted to remind you all who was in charge. Afterall, a team is nothing without its leaders.”

“What if we don’t do it?” Jenna asked defiantly.

Devin raised his brows “Actually, it didn’t even cross my mind that you guys would not oblige. If that’s the case, I should find something more challenging for you to do. I hear the monks live a very quiet life.” He warned knowing that his niece would go mad from all the chanting.

She quickly backed down “Sheesh, I was just asking. No need for threats.”

He smiled crookedly “Okay, girls follow Reina and the boys follow Matt and we’ll meet behind the temple at the trail.”

They led them to their shared rooms. Each bed was made out of wood and only a thin layer of mattress sat on top “Damn, it is jail.” Mia wrinkled her nose in repulse at the stench of old smelling wood.

“Change into your work out clothes and we’ll get a move on it.” Reina advised as she left the room to give them privacy.

“Can you believe them?” Mia cried with a pointed finger.

“They’re beyond nuts!” Jenna chimed in.

Reina smiled from the door “I prefer psycho!!”

Erin shook her head “Let’s make the best out of it girls.” She changed quickly, glad to get into something warmer. The girls had matching maroon windbreakers as the boys had their royal blue warm up clothes.

They met up with Devin, who was holding onto Bonnie’s hand. Mia gushed at her daughter “Bon Bon…”

Devin put a hand up to stop her “No, you finish your training and you can see you daughter during breaks.” He informed and pointed her back to the row.

Mia narrowed her eyes evilly as she turned to her daughter “Take care of Uncle Devin for mommy okay?” she gave the little girl a secret wink.

Bonnie pulled her ear in response. It was their secret code of answer. After her first kidnapped, Darren and Mia had trained their daughter to send signals if she needed anything. The girl was quick to pick up everything they taught her “Since you guys took longer than we anticipated, we’ll shorten the run to three miles. Start you off light.” He grinned “Matt and Reina will make sure you guys are on the right track.”

They had bikes ready and whistles screeching for the group to start jogging. They gave their Head a last glare before giving in to the whistles. Devin watched as the group jogged along the trail. His satisfied smile appeared as he turned down to the girl “Don’t worry, mommy and daddy will be back very soon.” He had never taken care of a kid but heard from Erin that Bonnie was a cinch. She practically watches herself.

“I have to pee.” Bonnie said.

Devin frowned “Are you potty trained?”

“Yes, I’m almost five.” Bonnie replied with a roll of the eyes. She let go of his hand and began wandering on her own. Devin was quick on her toes but she was mischievously running away from him. She suddenly stopped and turned to him “Uncle Devin, where is the bathroom?”

He smiled and pointed inside the temple “I’ll take you.” He led her to the girls’ stall “Can you go by yourself?”

“Yes.” Bonnie replied as she walked in herself while he stood at the door. He didn’t want to invade the girls’ room just in case someone walked by. The little girl closed the stall and did her duty while she hummed a song Mia often put her to sleep with.

“Are you done?” Devin asked impatiently.

“No!” Bonnie replied grumpily.

“Okay…okay…take your time.” He didn’t want to upset the girl. After a few minutes, he heard the flush and was expecting her to come out. But instead, he heard another flush and another “Is something wrong Bonnie?”

She whimpered “The paper don’t want to go down.” She rushed over to him and pulled him inside “See.” She pointed to her stall. She had stuffed enough toilet paper to plug up the hole.

Devin groaned in response “I am so not having kids.” He smiled at the girl and ushered her outside “Let’s go tell the janitor what you did okay?” They found the monk raking the leaves with a broom “I’m sorry to bother you but we have a little accident in the girl’s room.” He patted Bonnie on the head.

“Uncle Devin made a boo boo! Water everywhere.” Bonnie animated with her hand and eyes widening.

He nearly dropped his jaw open “I did not!” he argued with the little girl while the bald man arched his brows “I didn’t!” he assured the monk “Why would I use the girls room? I’m a man.” He argued.

Bonnie giggled, “Hey said it is a lot comfortable than the boys room.”

Devin knelt down and took Bonnie by the arms “Now Bonnie, don’t lie. It’s not nice to lie to adults. Didn’t your mother teach you that?” her eyes curled innocently as her lips quivered slowly “No…no, don’t cry.” He laughed nervously while the monk crossed his arms sternly “Okay okay…Uncle Devin made a boo boo. It’s not Bonnie’s fault okay? Don’t cry.” He begged.

She smiled in response and turned to the monk janitor “See, I told you.”

“I will go fix it.” He said shortly and gave Devin a slight bow and strange look before leaving.

Devin bowed politely “Thank you, master.” He sighed and turned to Bonnie “Now…” fading away, he noticed she was gone “Bonnie!” he cried when he found her hiding behind a plant and pillar. She giggled as if they were playing a game and went off running outside while Devin groaned with frustration.
