The plane landed roughly and it took a good half hour before the passengers were allowed to get off the plane. Devin was carrying the sleeping Bonnie in his hands while Erin helped him with the luggages. When they got out of the gates, they were pushed to a line “Customs check.” The guard said in a monotone.
Devin turned to Darren as he handed the little girl into his arms and returned to the guard “Devin Hsu, head of security. This is the P.R.A. team.” His introduction was to be enough for him to let them through but the guard remained grounded.
“Sorry Sir, I have orders from the Police Commander not to let a single soul through without checking through customs.” His hand on the weapon as if ready to use threat.
“I suggest you take your hand off the gun. We don’t deal well with threat.” He warned.
He removed his hand from the gun “I apologize but I cannot let you through without a check.”
“Where is the Commander? Bring him here.” Devin used his authority voice.
“Ooh, Uncle Devin’s pissed off.” Jenna whispered to Ryan.
“Sorry, the Commander cannot be reached.” The guard continued to make excuses.
Devin lost his patience as he saw the guard reach his hand on the gun again. Clasping his hands together, he pushed the guard’s hand with his elbow and used one finger to slip through the trigger as he rolled the gun up with one finger. Pointing the barrel at the guard’s temple, he snickered “I think you have a hearing problem.”
“And you are still impatient.” A cool voice spoke up from behind as the group turned to find a tall gentleman in a black suit. His hair in perfect place and his walk smooth like a model. He inched his way over and calmly took the gun from Devin’s hand “Is that anyway to treat a guard that is here to protect our country from illegal entry?” he placed it back in the guard’s pocket.
His face softened but his eyes still hard as coal “Daniel.” He smiled forcefully “Long time no see.”
The Commander smiled in return “Yes, it has been a long time.” He nodded to the group behind him “Taking your family on a trip?”
“Who is that?” Mia whispered to Reina.
“The Commander.” Reina recalled seeing a picture of him in the paper not too long ago when he was appointed the position.
“I could eat him up.” Mia whispered.
Carmen smiled when she noticed Darren turning to his wife “I think he can still hear you.” She said to Mia, who threw her husband a sweet smile.
“John, apologize to Mr. Hsu, afterall he is the head of security.” He ordered the guard.
Devin raised a hand to stop the guard “That’s not necessary. If you’ll excuse us, we have important things to do.” Turning to his team, he nodded “Come on.”
“I’ll swing by headquarters and see you guys later.” Daniel advised.
He didn’t bother turning his head as he continued on. Nodding to Matt, he waved him over “I got a page from headquarters. Can you call and ask what the problem is?”
“Sure.” He noticed Devin skipping ahead as he pulled out his cell phone and made a call. Obviously hiding it from the team. The group turned to him as he shrugged. He called the office and the receptionist answered and advised them of a fax from Ted. Hostages were taken over at Twin Tower Bank. The thieves are requesting helicopter and ten million in cash be sent or they will blow up the entire building.
Devin returned minutes later “Is it important?”
“You tell me. Five guys holding up the Twin Tower Bank and demanding a ten mil ransom in cash and a getaway helicopter.” Matt shortened “The cops have surrounded the building but they haven’t called the negotiators yet.”
“Good, they’ll just give them what they want.” Devin snapped, “Come on guys, back to headquarters.” The van was waiting for them at the front as they were pushed into the fifteen passenger seated vehicle.
“I gotta call Yuk Jei to pick up Bonnie.” Mia said to Darren.
Devin turned to her “No need. I’ll watch her. I’ll be in the watch-van. You guys get geared up and I need three of you to fly a helicopter.”
Matt was quick to disagree “Devin, they’ve only take three classes in flying. I don’t think they’re ready.”
“I can do it.” Erin volunteered.
“Me too.” Reina nodded with a smile as she nodded at Erin “I couldn’t let you have all the fun.”
Erin grinned as she turned to Mia, who in turned widened her eyes “You’re kidding! Hello, I’m still afraid of heights.”
“I thought you got over it?” Jenna recalled “Remember? Ethan took you on that hot air balloon ride?”
“That was when I didn’t have half of my brain!” she exclaimed.
“So you finally admit it?” Darren laughed.
“No, I’m not going.” Mia confirmed stubbornly.
Erin sighed “Mia, come on. It takes us three to take out five guys. We got to let the rest take out the hostages safely and Jenna has to unwire the bomb.”
“Why me?” she pointed.
“Because you’re the best we have.” Devin agreed, “Ryan, you go with Jenna.”
“Yes, sir.” Ryan nodded.
“Matt, Darren and Carmen, you three need to clear out the scene. Sorry Matt, you have to be agent for a day. We’re short handed.” Devin informed.
“Stupid Doug! What a time to go missing.” Mia cursed “He better be locked in a cave somewhere or I’ll kill him when he shows his ass.”
Carmen raised her eyes while Erin chuckled “That’s Mia being worried. She doesn’t show her emotions but she’s actually concerned for Doug’s safety.”
The van stopped in front of headquarters as the group marched out “Five minutes.” Devin showed his fingers “I want you guys back no later.”
“Yes Sir!” they marched inside and changed while Devin watched after Bonnie, who was still asleep on the seat. Making a few calls, he ordered one patrol car to bring the girls to the helicopter port. They emerged under five minutes, geared up and ready “Your ride is here.” Devin nodded to the siren car speeding down the street. Erin sat in the front while the Reina and Mia sat in the back. The car took off with the sirens calling.
“Are you sure you can fly a helicopter?” Mia asked Erin as she leaned forward on the seat “I don’t want to die in a plane.”
“I’m pretty sure I can fly it.” Erin replied.
“Pretty sure is not good enough! Oh my God…I’m going to die like this. My greatest fear…” she shook her head deliriously.
Reina laughed “I couldn’t finish you before and now fate’s going to do it for me.” She joked. Although the past could never be forgotten but the girls had long ago learned to forgive.
Erin joined in the laughter “Flying to your death. Hmm…it sounds cool if you ask me. At least we’ll be in the front of the newspaper.” She grinned while Mia looked ready to puke.
The car dropped them in the front of the gated airport. They got out and rushed inside to check in. An officer stood ready to assist as he had them put on parachutes, headphones and goggles “We’ll contact by this.” He tapped his own headphones “If you need to talk, touch this button on the left phone.” He pointed.
“Okay.” Reina nodded.
“Any other questions?” he looked at the three girls.
Mia suddenly reached out and grabbed his shirt “Yes, get me out of here! They don’t know how to fly the plane. We’ll die!!” she groaned painfully while the officer looked frightened.
Reina and Erin exchanged glances as they linked their arms through Mia’s and dragged her away while she pounded her feet. The helicopter was warmed up and the propellers were blowing their hair to a whirlwind. Erin and Reina hopped onto the driver seat while Mia sat behind them “Okay, how do you take off?” Erin asked. Mia widened her eyes and she quickly smiled “I’m teasing. Just a little flying humor.” She lifted a few buttons and the plane began to sway.
“I’ll show you some humor!” Mia cried. She quickly put a seatbelt over her body and pointed to the door “Close it!!”
Reina turned to the back “There’s no door.” She answered and got back to helping Erin control the giant bird.

“Okay team, are you in?” Devin asked from the van. He typed out the screens as pictures appeared over the five screens in front of him.
“M.T., Taurus and Cancer are in.” Matt checked in.
Ryan and Jenna made it to the top floor as they snuck out of the elevators and into the hallway “Sagittarius and Aries checking in.” Ryan whispered. He quickly waved her into a corridor when he heard footsteps.
“I’m getting radars of high propane in the room across from you.” Devin advised.
“Who?” Jenna asked.
“You.” Devin replied shortly “Careful, they are armed.”
“I’ll cover you.” Ryan offered. Pulling out his gun, he faced the barrel to the sky and nodded to Jenna to move across the hall. Nodding, she pulled out her pick lock case while Ryan moved the gun in different directions in case they were caught “Hurry.” He whispered.
Getting on his cell, he called for Ted “My team’s in. Tell them the helicopter and money are on their way.”
“Done.” He hung up and nodded to his superior to go ahead and contact the thieves.
“They’re sending a helicopter and the money.” The guy hung up the phone as he told his boss.
The man was giant and muscular with a goatee around his mouth. He scratched it with his gun “That’s too easy.”
“Maybe they gave up?” one guy offered.
“Without a fight?” he was smarter than he appeared “Check the floor, I think they sent people inside.”
“Yes, Dai Gor.” Two guys left at the same time.
