"Actually, Lun.. I don't know how this might sound to you.. But.." Xuan hesitated to get the words out.
Her brain was yelling at her again, forcing her to tell Lun how she really felt. But her mouth was frozen numb, and it didn't want to listen to her brain. Xuan could almost see her mouth wagging its tongue at her brain in defiance. She thought she might scream at it for being so disobedient but she knew better than to do that.
Lun's adrenaline was pumping in his veins. His blood was clotting up in his head because his heart was beating too wildly. Far too wildly for his weak brain to take. I need oxygen boy! But not too fast! His brain cried out in agony. But Lun was too preoccupied with looking at Xuan to bother.
"Lun... I suppose... Well.." Xuan felt like kicking herself. She cursed herself silently. =Oh my God Selina Ren Jia Xuan!!! What the hell are you trying to do? Can't you even say a few simple words?=
Lun's anxiety was building up inside him as drops of perspiration rolled down the sides of his head. =Argh. This suspense is killing me! Does anyone have a knife? If she says no I'll probably go kill myself.=
Xuan bit her lips in frustration. "Ahllmarryoulun."
"Huh?" Lun blurted out. He couldn't get head or tail of what Xuan had just said. Apparently it sounded like Greek to him. No, more like plain gibberish.
Xuan took a deep breath and said, "Yes, I'll marry you, Lun."
Lun almost leaped from his chair in elation. He was overwhelmed by excitement, happiness, everything. In fact, words were not enough to describe how he felt.
Fumbling with his hands, Lun tried to take out that little box. The originally pink velvet cover was turning dark purple with Lun's wet hands. His quivering hands opened the box slowly and plucked out the silver ring. It sparkled in the light. The little princess-cut diamond on it looked like a giant stone in Xuan's eyes.
Still trembling slightly, Lun held up Xuan's hand and slipped the ring into her finger. It fitted snug and nice on Xuan's soft hand.
Xuan was smiling uncontrollably. Arh! How long had she been waiting for this day? =Gosh gosh gosh! I'm getting married!=
Lun was speechless. Indeed, Lun kai bu liao kou. (translate: can't say it) He was so lost for words he could only stare at Xuan lovingly and longingly at her adorable face. =She said yes! She said yes! She said yes!= Lun thought, as if trying to convince himself that she really said yes.
"Lun? Can I ask you one question?"
Still unable to speak, Lun nodded profusely.
"Do you love me or Lin more? Will she always have a bigger place in your heart?" Xuan asked softly.
Immediately, Lun's expression changed from one of overwhelming joy to one of utter shock.

The couple walked happily down the road, hand-in-hand, fingers interlocking as they talked about almost everything that they could talk about.
Wei and En had been living in England for quite some time now. And they were happy together. If only that was all that mattered.
"Hey En..." Wei started.
"Yeah?"
"How do you think Shadow's getting along in the kennels? And Skye too." Wei asked nervously. He wasn't too happy to be leaving dear old Shadow in the kennels back at home.
"What do you think?" En replied with a mischievous grin on her face. Then she flipped open her cell and showed Wei something. A live video of what was happening at the kennels at the same time he was watching it.
Shadow's tongue hung out, saliva dripping all around, as he stood near the food bowl, waiting for more food to be poured into his bowl.
"En! I love you man! How'd you do that?"
En laughed. "I have my ways of keeping us updated on the latest things happening to our precious babies.."
Wei looked at En accusingly. Then he broke into a huge smile and took En into his arms. "Thanks girl.. I really appreciate all these."
En smiled blissfully.

Lun was even more lost for words now. If he said Xuan's more important... Then he would feel guilty to Lin. If he said Lin's more important... Then he would be letting Xuan down! Confusion swirled in his mind.
Now what?
