Lun looked at Xuan, thinking about what to say to their 14-year-old daughter.
"Zaizai... Don't come back so late again, okay? 'Else you can't go out again." Lun said, if only there was a way to stop their daughter from going out so often.
"Yes, dad. That must be the kazillionth time you told me that." Saying bye to her folks, Zai left the house.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Many things had happened since 14 years ago. Xuan gave birth to Zaizai, whom Lun stopped grumbling about. Lun didn't answer Xuan's question too and he also stopped asking if Zai was really his. Of course, Lun and Xuan got married. Yay. When they got married, Zhe attempted to mess up their wedding, but fortunately, Lun found out just in time and called some of the best buds he could find to stop him from wrecking their wedding.
As for the key... Lun had come really close to unlocking Lin's diary, only to find that the key didn't fit. Zhe had also been back to harass Xuan and Zai. It certainly looked like they really wouldn't be able to get rid of Zhe without Lin's key. Lun knew he would find the key one day, he just wasn't sure when. Somehow, both he and Xuan thought they were very close to finding the key. Probably some telepathy between them.
Meanwhile, Jiafeng, aka Feng, had grown into a fine young man of 17. Two adjectives to describe him? Tall and handsome. Sounds like Prince Charming to you? Indeed, this 1.81 guy had killed almost the entire girl population in his school. Yet, amazingly, and to the delight of all the girls, Feng was unattached.
As for Wei and En, they were also happily married. They married in England and had stayed there ever since until they decided to move back a couple of years ago.
Shuwei and Hua, sadly, had been leading their separate lives after breaking up. They had wasted nine years together before realizing that they were not meant for each other. Nine years, nine long years of a once-perfect relationship, gone.

Zai was so sick of waiting for her friend that she decided to go and buy a cup of bubble tea first.
"One champagne grape plus green tea please." Zai ordered over the counter.
A cup slid over the counter to her. "$2.50 please."
At this, Zai started digging for her wallet. =Shit. Where's my wallet?=
" 'Scuse me, miss. Could you please hurry?"
"Yeah yeah. Trying to." Zai replied frantically. =Damn. How'm I going to pay?+
Just as Zai was on the verge of running away, someone slapped $2.50 on the counter and took the cup of champagne grape plus green tea. And passed it to her. "Here. My treat."
Before Zai could say anything, the guy thrusted the cup into her hands and walked away. Zai immediately ran out of the shop after that guy.
"Wait! Who are you?" Zai shouted after him.
The guy turned and gave Zai a grin, one that almost melted her. "Jiafeng's the name. Don't need to thank me. It's my pleasure to treat you." Then he turned and left.
"Wow." Zai muttered, trying to catch her breath. At the same time, she felt a hand on her shoulder and whirred round to see Xiao Qiao, who was late.
"Why do you look so shocked?" Xiao Qiao asked, on seeing Zai's face.
"Oh... Nothing nothing... Let's go..."
With a knowing smile on her face, Xiao Qiao followed Zai.
"Hey. Erm. Xiao Qiao... I think... Wait. How much money do you have now?" Zai asked, still in a pretty shocked state, while sipping her bubble tea.
"Ten plus. Why do you ask?"
"Then I think we'd better go somehwere cheap. I didn't bring my wallet." Zai said.
"Huh? Then where did that bubble tea come from?" Xiao Qiao blurted out, clearly confused.
=Oops. Did I just say something I wasn't supposed to?= "Uh... Uh..." Zai stuttered.
"Ah-ha! Got you! Can't run now. Tell me what happened just now." Xiao Qiao ordered, with a big fat smile plastered on her face.
Zai sighed. "Okay. I give up." Then she told Xiao Qiao about Feng.
-----------------------------------------------------------
That day Zai went home extra early as she pondered about what Xiao Qiao had just told her. Feng was the Prince of Rain Village High, Xiao Qiao's school. Zai was in a different school, which explained her ignorance.
"Xuan! Did I see wrong or is that our girl coming through the door?" Lun gasped as he asked his wife.
"Yes Lun. That's Zaizai." Xuan laughed as she ruffled Lun's hair like he was a little boy. How sweet...
But Zai wasn't really in the mood for jokes. Her mind was preoccupied. Feng's grinning image was accompanied by a thousand more replicas in her head. She simply just smiled at her parents before going back to her room.
Zai wondered if she would ever see Feng again. His mesmerizing smile, soul-stealing eyes, killer height, beautiful hair... Add that heavenly voice too. To Zai, Feng seemed like the most perfect guy she would ever see in her entire life. Zai was in love.
-----------------------------------------------------------
The week passed quickly with Zai in a dreamy mode almost every minute. Yes, too much of Feng could make one go crazy. Obviously, Zai had a very big overdose of Feng. If she didn't see Feng soon, she'd have to be sent to the mental hospital. But as out of sorts she was, Zai hadn't lost her charm. Her natural charm that had attracted Feng that day, but obviously she did not know that. She thought it was just wishful thinking on her part.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Despite the hordes of girls he had to choose from, no one really caught his eye as much as the girl at the bubble tea shop. He almost lost his cool that day when he saw her. Now, just as she was thinking of him, he was thinking of her. As much as she wanted to see him, he wanted to see her as well.
-----------------------------------------------------------
With his gelled up hair unmoving in the wind, Feng swaggered out of school, towards the bubble tea shop, hoping Zai might go there for a cup again.
Just as he was about to walk into the shop, a hand reached out, holding a cup of champagne grape plus green tea out to him. Feng spun round and saw a smiling face.
"To thank you for the one you treated me to the other day." Zai smiled, holding her cup of champagne grape plus green tea.
Feng took the other cup gratefully and happily. In fact, he was not only happy, he was practically over the moon. As both of them took small sips from their cups, they casually strolled down the street, with no words exchanged. The silence seemed awkward.
"Er.. So what's your name?" Feng tried.
"I'm Li Chen. But everyone calls me Zaizai."
"Okay... Zaizai..." More silence.
=My God. Am I just gonna keep walking with my mouth shut and risk losing this... Most gorgeous girl I've ever seen in my whole life? Hello..? Li Jia Feng~ Knock knock. Wake up boy, wake up!= Feng shook his head a little, trying to clear his mind.
Zai looked at him like he was some lunatic.
"Sorry. Got a bit of dust in my eyes..."
Not really convinced, Zai nodded and said, "Oh. Okay..."
As the two continued walking, the two of them wanted to say something and they started talking at the same time.
"Actually-"
"You know-"
Then they stopped mid-sentence, blushing like hell.
"You go first." Zai said.
"Er.. Okay.." Feng replied as he took a deep breath. =Alright, boy. So here goes...=
