“He really looks pitiful”
“Poor Onew~”
“If Taeyeon can only see this”
The three girls stared at Onew.. They could hardly stand it—seeing Onew like that. They stand steadily at the door doing nothing. They just stared at him. The guys did the same. They were all like fools with a blank mind and didn’t care about the time
“Ugh, kids, aren’t you leaving yet?” they all turned around and looked at Mrs. Lee
“Go on. Don’t worry about Onew. He’ll still b alive when you come back”
“Goodbye, Mrs. Lee” they all bowed and left
“Seeing him makes me feel sick, too” Yunni said as they entered the gate
“I don’t think I’ll be able to come back later” Aeri wasn’t sure
“If you couldn’t, I won’t even try” Yuri said that made the other two nod
“These girls are over reacting” Jonghyun shook his head
“They sure are. Onew hyung isn’t dying. He’s just sick” Key was on Jonghyun’s side
“If you guys get sick, we won’t even care” Yuri has this fierce looks in her eyes
“They’re girls, why are you being so rude?” Minho asked when the girls left
“Minho hyung is super right” Taemin, as a nice boyfriend and a caring dongsaeng agreed with Minho
“Nice guys don’t work on girls nowadays” Jonghyun said like he knows everything
“Then what do you call Onew hyung?” Minho and Taemin asked and they didn’t receive any answers from the two.

“Taeyeon, no cellphones, turn that off” Taeyeon’s mom shouted before they left for the market
“But, eomma”
“Follow your mom, Taeyeon. We don’t want any distraction” Her father told her to stop her from nagging
“Yes, appa” she turned off her phone and run towards her father and mother. She wanted to send Onew a message but she couldn’t. Her father gave the order so she must obey it no matter what.

“You’re really not coming?” Key asked the three girls. Before responding, they looked at each other first
“We’re coming~” the girls can’t resist Onew

“Hello, Mrs. Lee” after they rang the door bell, they all greeted Mrs. Lee
“Can we come in?”
“You’re with Taemin, of course you can come in” they all run inside Onew’s room and saw him still lying on his bed. He opened his eyes and smiled at them
“Hey, guys. How’s your day?” Onew asked them with his weak voice
“Not so good~” Aeri answered
“We keep worrying because of you” Yuri said
“We miss you” Yunni added. Onew smiled again, at least that way, it will make the girls happy
“Hyung, that food has been there since this morning. You haven’t eaten that, yet?” Taemin notice the food on the side table
“I’m not starving~” Onew answered
“You’re not starving since yesterday! You should really eat” Taemin shouted
“Don’t be mad. I’ll eat… but not now. Can you leave? I want to take a rest first. Maybe when I wake up, I’ll be better”
“Okay~” the girls responded
“We’ll be outside if you need us” the boys comfort him before leaving the room
Onew made himself comfortable, covered his body with the blanket and get back to sleep. The boys were watching TV in the living room while the girls help Mrs. Lee prepare dinner since they’ll be eating there. The boys talks about soccer, while the girls talks about the food and Onew. Thirty minutes later, they ate dinner together quietly. They didn’t even try to make any loud noises because they don’t want to wake up Onew. Before all of them leave the house, they all came back in Onew’s room and watch him sleep. He was sleeping so soundly as if he’s lying on a cloud
“I can’t stand it, I’m calling Taeyeon”
“I want to call her”
“No, I want to call her”
“I’m gonna call Taeyeon”
“Hand me your phone, I’m gonna call her”
“Yah!” Taemin whispered a shout so they would stop
“None of you will call Taeyeon noona… I will” Taemin took his phone in his pocket and dialed Taeyeon’s number.
“Oh, that;s weird” Taemin suddenly said
“What’s wrong?” they all got curious on Taemin’s reaction
“Taeyeon noona’s phone must be off” he answered
“Eh? Let me try” Jonghyun graabed the phone from Taemin’s hand
“Her phone is off” Jonghyun simply said. They all tried calling her but the voice mail is what they can only hear
“I guess she doesn’t really have to know” Minho said as he went closer to Onew
“Hyung, I’m going~” he whispered to Onew’s ear
“Who wants to go home with me?”
“I’m going with Minho. Yunni, you should come with us, too” Jognhyun called Yunni
“We should all just go home” Yuri suggested
“Get well, Onew oppa” they all whispered to Onew but they didn’t get any response from him
Taemin didn’t stop calling Taeyeon. He knows that Taeyeon is the only one who can make Onew better. Taeyeon is very strict to Onew whenever he’s sick or he’s being immature. Even before, even if they weren’t dating yet. She was already strict to him. But the thing is, she won’t answer. Yuri also tried to call her but her phone was still off. Taemin and Yuri gave up and wait until the next day.
Taeyeon woke up early that morning. She secretly checked her phone to call Onew. She turned it on and found at least thirty missed calls from Taemin and few from Yuri. She got curious so she tried calling Taemin
“jalgayo nae sarang ijen bonaejoolggaeyo, giuk choouk modoo ijeulggaeyo~” Taemin was still asleep but he had to get up or else Onew would be awaked
“Hello?”
“Taemin, it’s me. Why were you calling earlier?” she asked Taemin
“Noona! Finally!”
“Why did you call me again?”
“Onew hyung is SICK. So, so sick! He looks so piteous” Taemin shouted
“He’s sick? How is he? Is he feeling better? What happened?” Taeyeon asked him so many questions
“Take it easy, noona. Calm down. He’s okay but he’s still ill. He’s been absent since the other day” Taemin responded
“It’s because of the rain, right? It’s because eof me? Oh, no~” Taeyeon wants to cry but she can’t coz of her parents
“It’s okay, noona. It’s not your fault. It’s that bad weather’s fault”
“But still~”
“I was trying to call you just because of that. We didn’t want you to worry but we know that we have to let you know. See you in three days, noona. Bye~” Taemin tried to ease her but it just made her sadder
“Okay, bye~”
She stared at her phone for a minute. She was so disturbed. She thinks that it’s her fault. She thought that if she just told Onew over the phone and not in that bus stop, he wouldn’t get sick, he wouldn’t get soaked in the rain. She thinks of a better way to solve this, not just better, the best way that she could think of—
“You’re going back to Seoul?” both of her parents were surprised
“Can iask why?” her father asked
“Just… just because~”
“We won’t accept that answer” Her mom shook her head
“But if I tell you the real reason then you might not let me” she knows her parents well
“How are you sure?’
“Well… ugh… it’s because… because… Onew’s sick” she said and bowed her head
“Is he looking for you?” it was her dad’s turn on asking questions
“No… but” she doesn’t know how to explain it
“Is he more important than me?”
“Of course not. You’re the most important man in my life but he needs me now and I just know that I should be with him because it’s my fault why he got sick” Taeyeon exclaimed
“Are you sure it’s your fault?” Taeyeon’s dad asked another question
“Yes, appa. I’m one hundred percent sure. If I stay here, I’ll be troubled and I’ll be stressed out. Please, will you let me go back to seoul?” she wanted to go back so badly just for Onew’s sake. She can’t defy knowing that Onew’s sick.
“As if we can stop you”
“That’s appa, thanks, eomma!” she gave a hug for each of them
“You need tog et ready and pack your things” Taeyeon’s mom said
“No need to pack. I’m already set” her bags were already good to go beside the door
“You can go by yourself, right?” her dad joked
“Good bye, appa. Good bye, eomma. I love you”
Taeyeon was all set up; she hurried to the bus station. She was really rushing. SH can’t even wait for the bus to move. She wanted to tell the driver to start the engine but that’s just ridiculous. She sent Onew a message saying ‘I’m coming back. Just wait for me’ though she knows that Onew wouldn’t be able to read that. Few minutes later, the bus finally started to go. It’s gonna be a long trip but she didn’t try to sleep. She just wait, wait, and wait.
