He was proceeding with the papers in the eyes for me to believe as he proved himself that he was truthful to me. Guys like him would only know how to tell lies and having the deceiving looks but he was different.
Even how his wife had caused a mess, he never changed his mind to let her go. It was as if a hard to let off rope hanging on even she would know what had become could never return back to the past. She had suffered along the route in the mess and threatening. Just like as usual for her, she fights back as much as she could. However, it got even ugly when the divorce came into the picture.
His family were shocked but yet expected the disappointment to come when she revealed her true self after all these years. The mask that was took off as she fought back even further.
This time round, she decided to fight ugly.
At times we would be upset how she returned to them even by the most sincere apology that he had given. He was tired and disappointed at the things she did. Yet, it was nonetheless something he had expected all the while from her
He would say, “She is like that...How would I even still want her to be here?” I could see the regrets and hatreds every time he would receive some news from her. As expected from her, he knew they were all bad ones.
"I'm going sue you for my alimony" She replied him when he had asked her in sincere to sign the papers.
"I will send the kids to orphanage if he doesn't send me the money and in your dreams I will divorce with your son." She threatened his father on the phone for the first time.
"If you don't give me my alimony, I will never sign the papers." She went on threatening him when his father didn’t submit to her threatening.
Those words that she said had got us all caught our breath. It was nevertheless the threats she was returning, as she believed how terrible he had hurt her by asking for a divorce.
It wasn't easy to be caught in complications and never had I wanted a life like that but...
How could I let go of him when my heart beats every second steadily because of his existence?
It was just too late to let him go.
"You just need to know that I would make sure everything is settled and marry you as my beloved wife." He promised.
A promise made. It was wonderful but too was made with thorns prickling our hands. The blood that flew within us burned the passion attracted to one another, hungrily as it is that we were trying our best to devour the taste and greet the passion for our eyes would met.
I had never been in a love like a drama, like a tense story could be. Froze to my movements, I stepped out of the circle for the first time. My eyes were drawn to the reality that I had attempted myself to run away from. Innocently just wanting love by my side and ignoring what was coming to me as a package.
Sometimes, we just need to face the reality. Even how loving him and me could be, at times we do have our small arguments but of course it doesn't lead to the big ones. Because of the heart to learn and compromise and not willing to let the tears on one another's eyes to drop off, we didn’t bear to break one another’s heart. It's because we were selfless for one another, selfish for our love that we are still hanging on.
Hence, what will come will have to come and before that day to arrive would I know where my life will lead. Whether or not if I would continue again, fate had got it all arranged.
