It was raining heavily in the middle of the night. Thunderstorm was heard clearly in the bedroom they shared for the first time.
Ella awoke from her sleep. She got to her feet and went into the bathroom. She looked into the mirror over the sink and realized that her face was damp. She had been crying in her sleep.
She rinsed her face in cold water. Then she shut off the taps and reached for a clean towel on the bathroom cabinet.
After a couple of minutes, she came out from the bathroom and walked over to the sliding glass door, not care to switch on the lights.
She slid away the curtain and stood there looking at the pouring rain. It can be seen that something was indeed bothering her minds.
“Why aren’t you in bed?”
Chun hugged her from behind and kissed her exposed neck.
“I can’t sleep…” she whispered trying to hold her tears.
“Ella, what’s wrong?”
She suddenly felt numb. She didn’t want to face him, but she knew he wouldn’t give up until she told him what was wrong.
Chun gently turned her around to face him. The light from the street and the lightning from the heavy rain shone into the bedroom and revealed the tears that built at the corner of her eyes.
“Ella, please tell me what’s wrong.”
He saw a single tear rolling down her cheek. He brushed it away immediately with his thumb.
“Chun, I had a dream… I was alone in the beach house…then I saw you, Hebe, Selina, Calvin and Jiro…you were walking away with Hebe…Selina, Calvin and Jiro were leaving me too…I didn’t want to let you go but I couldn’t get nearer to you…something was holding me back and no matter how many times I cried out for you, in the end you never come back.”
“Ella sweetheart, you know it was only a dream…”
“I was so scared that someday you will leave me behind and go back to Hebe…”
“Silly girl, I have chosen you over Hebe…I will never leave you, please trust me…you meant everything to me.”
“But didn’t you promised the same thing to her too when you two got married?”
“Yes, but that was before I met you. I really thought my true love is Hebe, but when I met you I realized I was wrong and that scared the hell out of me.”
“I’m sorry Chun…I just don’t want to be alone…”
“You wouldn’t be alone and I will never let it happen…”
Staring into her teary eyes, he lowered his head and touched her lips with his, his large body trembling with the effort to be gentle.
She leaned against his chest. His body was clenched and hard all over, his veins were throbbing with unspoken desire.

Chun carried her and placed her on the bed. He sat down beside her on the bed. He gently moved in closer to push her down and then got on top of her. He kissed her hard and she responded with equal passion. They continued kissing each other like there’s no tomorrow.
Chun’s big muscular body was covering her petite body. His lips began to travel down her jaw to her throat, making her moan as his hand continued to caress her breasts.
He cupped her cheeks and hungrily pressed his lips down to hers again. He deepening the kiss as his hands wandered to her back, slowly unzipped her nightgown and pulled it down leaving her wearing only the sexy black laced bra and black silk panty.
They parted from their kiss to catch some air. She could feel his eyes travelling over her semi naked body.
She started to unbutton his shirt nervously. He covered her hands with his to give her calmness. He took off his shirt and showed his muscular chest.
Ella placed her arms around Chun's neck and closed her eyes as she felt his hands were exploring her body. He trailed kisses from her neck down to her waist and finally removed all her clothing within minutes.
Nothing can stop them now from continue with what they were longing for two years…Ella was the only woman in his heart now, he wanted to shower her with all his love and give her happiness forever.
He lifted his head and looked her deep in the eyes as he whispered.
“Ella…”
“Hmmm…?”
“I can’t imagine going to sleep without you in my bed after tonight…I love you more than anything else in the world.”
“Chun, I love you too…promise me that you will never leave me.”
“I promise…”
At this moment Ella knew she could trust him for the rest of her life, to be in the arms of the man that would ease all her pain away, her one and only soul mate.
“Chun……”
“Yes?”
“I need you in me now...”
He felt a thrill through his body as he heard the granted permission for him to enter her.
She learned forward to meet his lips again as her arms reached out and pulled him towards her. She was happy that her first time would be given to the man she loved.
The room was filled with the sounds of moaning and pleasure for the next few hours. They made love again and again until they were exhausted.
They rested entangled in each others arms. He reached for her hand and brought it to his lips softly caressing it with his lips.
“Ella, thank you for filling my heart with happiness…”
“Chun, your happiness is my happiness…”
He pulled her naked body closer to his chest and pressed a soft kiss on her forehead before falling asleep. Both were enjoying the pleasure and the serenity of their first night together.

Aaron’s POV
I didn’t realize it was very late now until I saw the digital clock on my working table showed two o’clock in the morning… No wonder I feel so sleepy now…
I was trying to finish all my pending works before the board meeting on this Thursday. I wish I have ample time for myself because I realized that 24 hours a day is really not enough for me...
Essentially I was not a workaholic, it just that I still have a lot of things to learn and yet I also need to balance my life between work and my personal life. I know the transition period is hard, but I will never give up before giving my hundred percents because this company is my father’s beads of sweat.
I stood up and exercise my body to relax all my cramped muscles. It was a torturing to sit many hours in the same position, but for god sake I had no choice.
I walked upstairs into my bedroom without making any noise incase Jason would awake. After the cleaning, I put on my pajamas and climbed on my bed.
The moment I closed my eyes, I thought of her again. I shook my head, trying to remove the picture of her smiles from my mind. I was being ridiculous ever to think of something that is impossible to happen in my life.

Nobody’s POV
The next morning Ella slowly opened her eyes when she felt Chun kissing her forehead.
“Good morning, sweetheart.” he whispered softly.
“Good morning, Chun…” she replied in her sleepy voice and snuggling into him.
He brought his lips to hers for a morning kiss. He kissed her softly and then stared into her beautiful eyes.
“Sweetheart, what would you like to eat for breakfast?” he gently nibbled her ear while waiting for an answer.
“Erm…I let you decide because you are the one going to prepare it, right?” she giggled.
“No problem, anything for you, my lovely Ella sweetheart…”

Hebe’s POV
As the morning arrived, I slowly opened my eyes to greet another day. When my hand moved to feel the other side of the bed, I was shocked to find it empty. The pillow and the bed sheet were neat.
I was sad and disappointed to wake up alone in our bed. I got to my feet and prepared myself to work. Later I searched around the house to look for the sign of him, but after a while I realized that he didn’t come home last night.
Suddenly I heard the sound of the keys trying to open the front door. It was him…
“Hebe, you wake up already?”
“Yeah……”
“Come to eat breakfast, I bought a chicken porridge for you.”
“Why you didn’t come home last night and didn’t answer my call? Did you know that I was worried about you the whole night?”
“Hebe, I’m sorry for not picking up your call last night. I left my phone in my car and I was working until very late at night. I ended up falling asleep in my office.”
“You were alone in the office?”
“Err…yeah……Hebe, I need to go to wash up now. Do you need a ride to the office?”
“Chun, it’s okay, Calvin and Selina will be coming over to pick me up today. Go and take your shower now. Take some sleep first before you go back to work. Are you coming back for dinner?”
“Yes.”
“Can you come and pick me up after work today? I want to go to buy some groceries.”
“Sure, I’ll see you then.”

Ella’s POV
I struggled to keep my voice steady on the phone conversation with Jiro. He was on his way here while I still preparing our separation dinner agitatedly.
I sighed, feeling my body tremble down as I was waiting for him to press the doorbell anytime soon. In this whole week, I still hadn’t worked out what would be the most suitable sentence to say to him.
[Flashback – Five months ago]
He brought me to an exclusive restaurant for dinner on my birthday. The restaurant was decorated with white roses as the centerpiece for each table.
We had a wonderful dinner that accompanied by a beautiful melody of violin. The evening was absolutely beautiful and it was definitely a night I would never forget.
An hour passed and when we decided to bring the night of elegance to an end, suddenly he got down on one knee. I thought he was tying his shoelace, but when he pulled out this small black box and told me that he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, I was shocked and speechless.
It was completely unexpected that he was going to propose to me on my birthday. He opened the box and inside was a lovely heart shape ring. He told me that the ring was designed by him and he wanted me to know that our heart would belong to each other forever.
I always imagined a romantic proposal, and that night was indeed a magical moment for every woman who is waiting to become a beautiful bride in the arms of the man they love except me.
[End of flashback]
*Ding Dong*
I peeped through the small hole on the door. I saw Jiro stood outside holding a bouquet of white lilies. I inhaled deeply before opened the door for him.
“Hi Jiro, come in…”
“Ella, you look so beautiful today.” he said and gave me a quick kiss on my left cheek.
“Thanks…take a seat first, dinner will be ready soon.”
