I turned around and stared at that person. It was Selina…
She saw me with puffy eyes, the result from crying last night. I wiped away my tears. I blinked but my vision was still blurred by tears.
“Hebe, what are you doing here? Why are you crying? Please talk to me.” she pleaded. “Please tell me what happened.”
I looked at her again and I couldn’t hold my tears anymore. I hugged her and cried on her shoulder.

Ella’s POV
I hoped Hebe would be alright. I took a cab and told the driver in hushed tones to head for Chun’s house.
I was standing at his doorstep after dropped off from the cab. After three rings of the bell, finally Chun opened the door. He was wearing jeans and and a T-shirt, he didn’t look good and his eyes were tired.
“Is Hebe home yet?”
“No, come in first.”
“What actually happened between the two of you? Now speak the truth!”
“We were having a heat argument last night. She got a job behind my back despite the fact that she knew I won’t agree to let her work. We shouted at each other, things were out of control and the next thing I remembered was I slapped her hard on the face.”
“WHAT? YOU SLAPPED HER??? HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO HEBE???” I hit him in his chest uncontrollably and yelled angrily at him. “If anything happened to her, I won’t forgive you!!!”
“Stop it Ella, stop it!!! I didn’t mean to hurt her, and I really regretted at what I have done.” He grabbed my arm and held me closer.
As soon as he touched me, it was like an electric shock and the old feelings came flooding back stronger than ever. We were staring at each other so closely. I wonder if he saw something different from the first time we met.
Chun was good looking and the silence sparkled with expectation. Suddenly, he lowered his head and crushed his lips into mine. I was stunned, it took me a few seconds to respond and kiss him back. I felt his strong hands wrapped around my waist, move on slowly and caressed my breast. The kiss and longing for his touch were caught me off guard and before anything further happened, I pushed him away.
“Chun, we can’t do this, it is not right.”
It was wrong and not supposed to happen now. I’m sure he wasn’t attracted to me, and he liked me as a friend only. I knew we were just caught up in the moment and he still loved Hebe.
“Ella, I’m sorry...”

Selina’s POV
I brought Hebe to my house. Calvin was shocked when he saw Hebe’s disordered condition. I took Hebe to our guest room and let her sleep. I promised to wake her up when the dinner is ready. Later, I pulled Calvin into our bedroom and told him everything.
“Calvin, I hope you wouldn’t mind as Hebe will be staying with us for the next few days.”
“Of course not, sweetheart. Hebe is my friend too. I think we should call Chun and let him know about this.”
“Okay, but I won’t let Hebe going back to him so easily. He needs to apologize to her for everything and agree to let her take the job.”

Chun’s POV
What have I done? I kissed Ella while Hebe was still missing. I was such a jerk here.
We continued to stare at each other in silence. My heart beat so fast, and I realized my heart had been taken by her since the day we kissed under the mistletoe.
Suddenly my phone rang…
